Wait, Bonnet Dryers Are Real??
Wait, bonnet dryers are real??
Right right, you don't know the British/Aussie terminology
so like they're your standard salon dryers. They're nice and cozy and good for when you need to get a perm to set, trying to dry hair, or if you're not doing okay and need warmth

The sound of the claws dragging through her tresses made a repressed memory come to the forefront of Tessa's mind.
-----------
"You let that little maid braid your hair again, didn't you?" Louisa shouted, drawing closer.
"Mother, please I!"
Louisa grabbed Tessa's wrist with her left hand and held up the sewing scissors in her right hand. "Too bad, and to think you looked so nice with longer front sections,"
------------
Tessa held her shoulder, the cold wind stinging her shoulders, the lightened weight of her security blanket leaving her core stinging with sorrow, LED tears streaming from her eyes. She screamed out in sorrow, holding what was left of one of her back plaits, "You're just as vile as my mother. Tell her hi when you go to Hell!" and with a swift kick to J's lower jaw, and taking a moment to push her shoulder ball back in, the drone Tessa ran through the now-open bunker doors and into the arms of her friend Jpeg, who had seen a HEAP of that unfold.
The door was slow to close, but she watched the J slowly rise from the kick.

The sound of a voice singing could be heard floating through the cold wind from just past the ridge
"Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda You'll come a Waltzing Matilda with me And he sang as he shoved that jumpbuck in his tucker bag You'll come a Waltzing Matilda with me
Down came the squatter mounted on his thorough-bred Up came the troopers one, two, three Where's that jolly jumbuck you've got in your tucker bag? You'll come a Waltzing Matilda with me"
it was a woman's voice, with an Aussie accent.... what a stupid little soul, to be singing out in the open while there was a dangerous J on the prowl
She slowly emerged from the landing pod. Her optic sensors now alert, trying to figure out the source of the sound. A large bold X appears across her visor. Her mouth slightly opened, just enough for her fangs to be visible. She flew off, tracking down the women
She glides in the sky, getting closer to the source of the sound. She lands on a rooftop, looking over to see if anyones there. She had her claws drawn out.
Oh goodness gracious...

At this point just put Cyn in Witness Protection
Tessa smiled at Cyn's assessment and giggled softly at the kind words. "It's like a golden retriever, but much softer... I only met one once. But, you can see for yourself," she walked over and set the wig down for Cyn to feel it while she unhooked Cyn's old wig ever so carefully, "I've had lots and lots of practice, my darling dear Cyn. I know you've had a little practice, you cheeky little wallaby." Tessa hugged gently Cyn from behind before taking off the drone's human hair wig, despite the weathering and yellowing of the wig cap and the tarnishing of the clasps, it was in pretty sturdy condition, despite being knotted and yellowed from dirt, grime, and the passage of time "I remember Mother coming down in the morning wearing a veiled hat to hide her choppy bangs and the pixie cut you gave her, and being off to the beauty parlour before she even finished her morning tea," the drone giggled to her little sister client, "I'm so proud of you for doing that, thank you."
"Trying to interact with other worker drones... Has become difficult. They don't trust me." Cyn frowned.

The gift for Cyn
Oh, I mean, we've patched things up emotionally and we're like sisters now. It's nice to have someone to look out for, someone to treat the way I wish I was treated by my own family when I was alive the first time.
