i also wanna thank those who left reassuring comments on my little ramble from a while back, i genuinely appreciate it :3 btw these are sorta old and it was my first time drawing both phillip graves and russell adler so i apologize if they look... bad in my art style <:]

i'm gonna be honest, i've been very reluctant on posting here. i get shy and nervous about posting my art purely because of the fact that it's not as good as everyone else's art is, especially in fandoms. i overall just get the feeling i'm not worthy of participating in fandoms with my art bc of how... well, bad it is compared to everyone else's. sorry i'm just rambling and running my mouth lol just voicing my thoughts

Uhhh I've been compiling this list for a while and others might need it so here are some safe but effective ways to stim discreetly in public

-chewing gum

-tying and untying knots (making friendship bracelets, using a hair tie, getting a ribbon, etc)

-braiding your hair and unbraiding it, if it's long and has the right texture for that

-drumming patterns with your fingers on your lap

-if you play a wind instrument, finger the keys on a pencil in your lap for different songs

-scrunching and unscrunching your face under your mask

-if you're just out and about and not talking to someone, humming or whistling a song you like

-blinking super hard

-if you have a non toxic pen, draw on your skin or write on the soles of your shoes

-open your notes app and make lists of things (could be anything, food you like, cool character names, clothes you wear often, etc)

can you do patrick bateman with reader? the reader silences themselves after patrick doesn't really pay anymore attention to them, thinking he doesn't care one bit, and then patrick starts to try and talk to the reader about their behavior and they don't say anything to him, so patrick tries to come up with some way to make the reader communicate with him again. maybe something he never gave the reader during their relationship that the reader had wanted for a long time whilst they've been with him and they start talking to him after patrick gives them what they've wanted this whole time, because they know he actually cares now. sorry it's so long and if it's confusing!!
