The First Time {harry Potter}
the first time {harry potter}
a/n; This imagine is a little different, but I really liked writing it. I hope you enjoyed it too! I’m so happy I’m getting this one out a day after the last one!
“Important encounters are planned by the souls
long before the bodies see each other.”
~Paul Coelho

The first time Harry saw her, she was rolling her eyes. Stood outside his carriage, with her bright h/c hair that was curled slightly at the ends, she appeared to be smirking at a girl with big bushy hair and a chubby boy. He watched her a bit more as she threw her head back and laughed at something the girl next to her had said. The h/c haired girl waved to her friend and linked arms with the boy while skipping away. Harry wondered if she was always that happy.
The first time she laid eyes on him, he was muttering something under his breath. Sitting on the stool facing all of Hogwarts, his famous name echoed through the hall. Y/N met eye contact with Draco when the name was announced, his Father and her Mother had warned her about him. The boy who lived and killed Lord Voldemort. Y/n looked away from Draco and hoped with all her might that she was in a completely different house than he was. She got lucky that time.
The first time they met eye contact was when Seamus Finnigan had blown up his feather in Charms. Y/N’s eyes twitched and she glanced over at the ash-covered boy with disgust. She felt eyes on her figure and looked at his partner. It was the famous boy, who got special treatment from all the teachers, except for Snape. Y/N felt herself smirk at the thought and kept up the eye-contact. Only did she turn away when Draco tapped her shoulder and asked her ‘What do you think Father will get me for Christmas?’
The first time they scowled at each other was when Draco’s mouth had gotten out of hand. He had said something to Potter and she knew she had to step in before word spread around the castle and drifted off to his Father. Y/N glared at the green-eyed boy in front of her, if she disliked him before then this would be nothing compared to now. Y/n’s eyes looked to her left to see the red-haired boy who had insulted her favorite bushy-haired friend, Hermione Granger. Y/N’s nose crinkled up in disgust and he asked her if she had a problem with Weasley. She said 'I do, as a matter a fact. If you hurt Hermione one more time I’ll nail you in the nose.’ Y/N glared at the redhead then at Harry. She scowled at him before grabbing Draco’s hand and stalking off, leaving Harry to growl at her back.
The first time they smiled at each other, they had just saved the four of them from an escaped troll. Y/N had gone off after Hermione to help conceal her from those 'pig-headed idiots’ when a troll walked into their lavatory. Y/N screamed louder than she’s ever done in her life and helped Hermione up into a random stall. She knew about no magic but stood firmly in front of her friend and prayed to Merlin for some miracle to happen. That was when her Golden Boy miracle came in. He jumped onto the troll and stuffed his wand up his nose. As the troll started to fall, Y/N started to giggle and looked to her left to see Harry smiling back at her. Who knew four first years could fight off a troll that was as deadly as Horned Dragon?
The first time they had a conversation was when the rumor of Harry being the opener of the Chamber of Secrets went around the school and landed in Y/N’s ears. The Slytherin marched over to Harry and grabbed him by the arm, “Have you been really opening the Chamber of Secrets and setting them against muggle-borns?” Harry looked shocked at her abruptness but shook his head. Y/n studied him once more before nodding and stalking away with her head held high, glaring at anyone who shot her a weird look.
The first time they laughed together, Draco was dragging Y/N into this club about how to defend yourself. Y/N didn’t quite see the point of the club, she already knew how to defend herself the muggle way and could send a wicked stinging hex that would last for hours as the second year. Y/N sighed when she saw where Draco’s eyes were at Harry Potter and his troublesome goony. Y/N often wondered why Hermione hung out with the two of them, but then she would remind her why she was hanging out with Draco. That shut her up a lot of the time. 'Are we really here to spy on your crush like a first year?’ Draco looked at her weirdly, 'I don’t get crushes, L/N. Girls crush after me.“ Y/n snorted at that comment, 'I forgot you were such a ladies man. Now tell me why you won’t admit you are in love with Potter?’ 'Ya, Malfoy. Tell us why you are in love with me?’ Y/N turned around to see Harry smirking at her and Y/n fought the urge to giggle. Draco turned bright red and that’s when they both lost it. Their laughter caught the attraction of many others and smiled fondly at the two colleagues giggling together.
The first time they became acquaintances was when Hermione had gotten herself frozen. Y/n was walking as fast as she could to the Hospital Wing, she saw Harry and Ron also walking them and she shouted their names. Y/n was the one to find the note in Hermione’s hand, shockingly enough. As she looked into Harry’s eyes she knew she would have to put her past behind her to help keep her beloved Hogwarts open.
The first time hugged each other, Harry had just defeated Voldemort for the third time. Y/N felt relief as the image of Tom Riddle burned up, Ginny stirred next to her but all Y/N could look at was Harry. Her stomach was swirling as she stared at his arm, 'Harry no! You can’t die. We have to do something.’ Y/n looked weirdly at the bird, her mind was calling it over to the animal. 'Harry! It’s a phoenix! Its tears have healing powers!’ She called the bird over and looked over at a worried Ginny. Y/N quickly scooped the younger girl into her arms, her motherly instinct coming over. Harry’s face started to pale even after the tears of the magical animal, that’s when Y/N started to panic. She grabbed the hat and pressed the part of his arm just before his shoulder while praying to Merlin. 'Y/n, Y/N, I’m fine.’ A voice said Y/N opened her eyes that she didn’t even know she had closed. Her eyes raked over his form before sighing in relief and throwing herself at a very shocked Harry.
The first time they called each other friends was when Harry had just fainted from a Dementor. Y/N’s hand felt the ice on the window with bewilderment and shock. 'Do any of you know what’s going on?’ A loud scream left her mouth as she stared at the creature in horror. Y/N’s mind immediately went to her thoughts about her dead Father and her Mother who had almost killed her last Summer. She tried hard to think about her amazing friends and how Draco had saved her from her crazy Mother. Y/N felt the temperature heighten and she peeked her eyes open to see the man known as Remus J. Lupin had scared the creature away somehow. 'Why is Harry on the floor?’ Y/N’s eyes switched from analyzing the man in front of her to a very pale looking Harry. Y/N kneeled next to him and placed his head on her legs for a better pillow, 'Why is it that it’s always him who’s in danger?’ Ron laughed, 'Believe me I ask that all the time. I was thinking that maybe we got very coincidental these past few years. But now this happened and I’m starting to regret becoming friends with Hermione.’ 'What do I have to with any of this?’ 'Harry and I were fine before you came along.’ Y/N rolled her eyes at the bickering pair and turned to Harry who was staring at her. Y/N looked surprised to see him awake and quickly helped him up and onto the benches, "Are you alright?’ 'I’m um fine. Did you by chance hear a woman screaming?’ Y/N looked confused and raised her hand to his forehead as if to check for a fever, "No one heard a woman screaming Harry. Maybe you dreamed when you fainted?’ Harry nodded but looked concerned, 'Don’t worry about it, Harry. I don’t think he we have to enroll you in a mental hospital yet.’ Harry cracked a smile making Y/N feel a little bit of relief for her friend. She looked next to her to see the chocolate the man had given her before he left, "Here, Harry. This will make you feel better.’ 'Thanks, Y/N.’ 'Of course, what are friends for?’
The first time they fought with each other was when Draco and Y/N had started dating. Y/N fell onto the couch a huge smile on her face, 'What’s gotten you so happy?’ 'She went out on a date with Draco Malfoy.’ Y/N giggled, 'Ugh, he was so sweet and we went to Hogsmeade. Have you tried butterbeer? Salazar, I-’ 'You went out with the guy who called Hermione a… bad word for muggle-borns?’ Y/N looked at Harry to see him looking a bit disgruntled, 'I asked Hermione and she said it’s fine and I’ve talked him into not calling her a… that word.’ 'Oh wow, that’s really endearing.’ Y/N’s face scrunched up, 'What the hell is your problem Harry?’ 'My problem! You are going out with Malfoy!’ 'He’s been my best friend for years Harry and that never seemed to bother you!’ 'He’s just going to break your heart, Y/N!’ 'And how do you know that?’ 'Because he’s going to treat you like something special right now but once he finds out your not then he’s just going to dump you. I don’t want to be the one-’ Y/N smacked Harry on the face as hard as she could, 'Well, I’m glad I know your opinion of me, Harry.’ Y/N spat and wiped her cheeks from the tears.
The first time they comforted each other was when they had just found out that their parents had been sold out by Sirius Black. It had been a long month for everyone. Harry and Y/N spat out as many insults as they could whenever they saw each other. Their rivalry took the castle by storm, especially when Y/N beat Harry to the snitch during their last Quidditch game. Then, Draco had been sent to the hospital after getting injured by the Buckbeak. Y/N spent most of her time with the blonde haired boy, she talked to Hermione and Ron as much as she could but not enough in her opinion. Finally, Buckbeak was sentenced to death. Y/N had found out when Draco was bragging about how his Father was sentencing the 'bloody bird’ to death. The only thing Y/N was impressed about was how hard her left hook hit him and how much the breakup hurt. With the exhausting month coming to an end, Y/N was walking around Hogsmeade and doing a terrible job of ignoring Malfoy. 'Getaway, Malfoy! Nothing will change my decision.’ 'Not even if I tell my Father to cancel the extinction?’ Y/N never got her chance to reply as she was swallowed by the invisibility cloak. 'Harry?’ He did a silencing motion with his finger, she did what he said and followed him inside the Three Broomsticks. The second she got out of there, Harry dropped her off and headed somewhere. Y/N saw Ron and Hermione, she mentioned for them to follow her and look for Harry’s footsteps. Y/N was the first one to find him, she brought him into her embrace and held him as he balled into her shoulder murmuring about how he was going to kill his godfather.
The first time Y/N risked her life for Harry, they had been running from Remus Lupin. Y/N clamped Hermione’s mouth when she started to howl, 'You are going to get ourselves killed!’ 'I was saving the past us!’ 'And I’m saving the present us! Run!’ The trio ran as fast as they could form the werewolf. Y/N somehow got ahead of them and stopped for a bit to catch her breath. She was going to have to thank Flint for the extra training later. A loud growl startled her and she looked behind her to see Harry pushing Hermione behind him. Y/N quickly formed a plan in her head and howled behind a tree.
The first time Harry and Y/N held hands were when the Triwizard Tournament Competitors were announced. Harry’s name echoed through the hall, Y/N looked confused and met eye contact with the poor boy. Hermione pushed him up but Harry grabbed Y/N’s hands and dragged her with him to where the other three contestants were. Y/N didn’t even have to time to savor their laced hands before she stepped in front of Harry and stood up to a very angry Dumbledore and Minister.
The first time Harry asked Y/N out was when the Yule Ball was announced. Y/N was giggling with Hermione about how Ron had to dance with McGonagall when Harry crept up behind her asked for a word with her. She told Hermione she’d catch up with her in a second and followed Harry out of the crowd of people. Harry looked more nervous than usual and shoved his hands in his pockets, 'Do you want to go to the Yule Ball with me?’ A big smile made its way onto their faces when she said her answer.
The first time Y/N stayed the night, a day had passed from Cedric’s death and the end of the tournament. It was around midnight when Y/N snuck out of the girls’ dormitory. Y/N had borrowed his invisibility cloak to go see him. Surprisingly, Ron had understood when Y/N hadn’t wanted him to join her. 'Hey, Harry.’ Y/N whispered and ran a hand through his hair. 'Hey, Y/N. I don’t understand why Pomfrey didn’t let you stay in here also.’ Y/N laughed, 'I’m not the one who had an unforgivable curse set on them, Harry.’ 'You had a dream about me Y/N. You felt the same pain as I did.’ Y/N blushed, 'It’s rather weird isn’t it.’ Harry smiled and played with her fingers, 'I overheard Dumbledore and McGonagall talking about it. They said something about soulmates.’ Y/N rolled her eyes, 'Did you also hear how it could have been a complete coincidence.’ 'Be quiet and get in here… soulmate.’ Y/N laughed and cuddled into Harry, she traced his jawline where a cut was, 'Don’t do that again Harry. That scared me so much.’ Harry kissed the top of her head, 'I’ll try.’
The first time they kissed each other, Harry had initiated it, surprisingly. Harry had just gotten back from his trial and Y/N was waiting for him quite nervously. Her fingers drummed the edge of the counter as she listened to Sirius and Remus talk about how to break Harry out of Azkaban. 'HE GOT OFF! HE GOT OFF!’ The twins yelled and entered the kitchen, Y/N looked at them with disbelieving eyes before dashing over to Harry. 'Harry! Thank Salazar you go-’ Y/N swore she died and landed in Heaven because there was no way something here on Earth felt like this. There was just no way.
The first time Y/N stood up for Harry was when Umbridge had yelled at Harry saying he was a liar. Y/N’s heart was racing as she yelled at the woman before her. The toad had sent her to McGonagall’s’ only for the woman to congratulate her. She walked out of her office with a smirk on her face and no detentions, Y/N saw Harry and smiled. She quickly walked over to him and kissed him. Y/n could never get used to the feeling of his lips on hers. He broke it off too quickly, 'I can’t even handle how hot you look when you’re mad, L/N.’
The first time they fought with each other, Y/N had lied to Harry and brought him to the Hog’s Head for a date. Harry grinned down at Y/n, 'This is going to be nice to have some time alone. I love Hermione and Ron but-’ Y/N giggled at his awkwardness, 'I know what you mean Harry.’ 'That’s good because I really didn’t feel like explaining myself. Now, I’m paying for everything today so lead the way. I know you already had a plan.’ Y/N looked surprised, 'Who told you that?’ 'Hermione, was she wrong?’ Y/N laughed, 'Hermione’s never wrong Harry.’ Y/N felt guilty the whole walk to the Hogs’ Head as Harry peppered her with love and affection. She always knew Harry was dramatic but she never thought he would be this mad at her. The Slytherin was merely doing him a favor, pushing him to perform the first step of the DA. That’s why she didn’t understand why he ignored her and pushed her away when she kissed him on the cheek and told him how proud she was of him. The boy was about to walk out of the restaurant with Dean when she called out to him. If he was going to be mad then so was she. Personally, all Y/N wanted to do was hang out with her beloved but he was proving hard to do so. 'What?’ 'Don’t you 'what’ me, Potter. This is not my fault, if you hadn’t been so stubborn and just started it by yourself we wouldn’t be having this problem.’ 'Maybe you shouldn’t have lied to me, Y/N. I would’ve just came if you asked.’ 'Don’t talk out of your ass, Harry. Everyone knows how stubborn you are.’
The first gift Harry gave Y/N was the only thing he had left of his Mothers’. It was an emerald green necklace. The stone was the shape of pearl drop and matched Harry’s eyes, her favorite color. The chain was gold and dainty and fit around Y/n’s neck perfectly. The Slytherin had been ignoring Harry for a while now after he called her a liar, something she refused to be called. Harry had cornered her and stumbled out a speech Hermione had obviously helped him out with. However, the only reason why she forgave was that of how she touched she was about was the fact that Harry would give her something this precious and meaningful.
The first time they told each other they loved each other, Y/N was sitting with Harry against a wall of the school. Sirius had just died and Umbridge was finally gone and out of this godforsaken school. However, neither felt like they had won anything. Y/N’s hand was playing with Harry’s, his other arm was draped around her shoulder. 'I love you, Y/N.’ Y/N looked up from where she had buried her face into his chest, 'What?’ 'I love you.’ A smile made her way on her face as she kissed him tenderly, 'I love you too, Harry.’
The first time they broke up, they had been fighting about Draco. Y/N refused to believe that her ex-best friend was a death eater and Harry had gotten jealous. 'I can’t believe you are sick enough to believe that Harry! His Father was just thrown into Azkaban. Don’t you dare say that again.’ 'He’s a death eater Y/N! Hermione saw something on his arm!’ 'First of all, Hermione says she doesn’t know what she saw on his arm. Second, I know his Mother and trust me she would never let that happen. Third, this is Draco Malfoy we are talking about! He would never ever purposely hurt someone!’ Silence settled between them for a little bit, 'I don’t want you hanging around him anymore.’ 'And how do you have a say in who I hang out with Harry!’ 'I think I have a little leeway for the fact that I’m your boyfriend.’ A tear ran down Y/N’s face, 'Not anymore.’
The first time Harry felt his heartbreak, Y/N was holding hands with Roger Davies. {just pretend he’s in his seventh year} Y/N’s laughter rang down the hall as she whispered something into his ear. Roger was carrying her books with ease, as they talked into hushed tones to each other. Harry’s eyes were glued to the new couple as Ron and Hermione talked. 'Harry?’ Ron asked and looked at his best mate weirdly until he saw what he was looking at, 'oh.’ Harry risked a look over at Y/N again to see her making eye contact with Harry. She quickly looked away from Harry and kissed Rogers’ cheek. Harry felt lightheaded as his breaths got shorter and shorter. His eyes finally peeled themselves off the couple as he took a few seconds to regain his composure. Godric, he would do anything to get her back in his arms.
The first time Y/N felt her heartbreak, Harry had kissed Ginny Weasley. The Gryffindor shouts taunted her down the hall as she debated just going into the Slytherin Common Room and turning in for an early night. However, Hermione forced her to come along saying something about helping her get over Ron. Y/N’s boredom hit the second she walked into the Gryffindor Common Room. She sat down on the couch and twirled a bit of string that was coming out of the plush furniture. 'So when’s the next SPEW meeting…’ Y/N’s words died in her mouth as she watched Harry kiss Ginny Weasley. By the looks of it, she seemed to be enjoying herself also. Y/N gulped down the bile that fought its way up from her stomach, her face felt unusually hot. She closed her open lips and told herself the few things to keep herself centered when she saw about to break. This had been the one time she had to use the advice from other Purebloods.
The first time Y/n told Harry she hated him, Harry had just cursed Draco to the brink of death. Y/N heard yells and shouts in the boys’ bathroom and went to check it out. She was a Slytherin Perfect after all. She thought of the few things she needed to say to get the two rowdy boys to stop dueling. 'Hey! I know you all need to get your testosterone out, but-’ Y/N’s breath caught in her throat as she stared at a terrified Draco. His already pale self-was whiter than normal, however, that wasn’t the thing scaring her. No, it was the pool of blood that was rapidly growing. Y/N stopped her panicked thoughts and pushed Harry out of the way, 'Asciendo.’ Y/N whispered with shaking hands, the healing spell worked and she thanked her younger self for picking OWL Alchemy. Y/N repeated the spells a few times, then worked on calming Draco down, 'hey, hey, hey. You’re alright. okay? No, no, no, shh.’ Y/n whispered and ran the hand that wasn’t holding his through his hair, 'Shh, don’t worry.’ Y/N moved her hand down his face and did what her Mother used to when she was little, she stroked his face with her small hands and kissed each spot after she was done. 'Go to sleep, Draco.’ Draco’s eyes flickered as he finally went to sleep. Y/N but her lip and fought down the tears, 'He’s lost a lot of blood. I’m going to do the Patronus charm and call for Madame Pomfrey.’ Y/N whispered. After she finished, she made sure Draco was okay before rounding on Harry. 'What the hell?’ Y/n spat quietly, she was about to crumble in a second from the shock, 'Y/N, I don’t even know what happened, I-.’ Harry stopped as he saw the strongest Woman he’s ever known in his life broke down right in front of his eyes. 'You are so lucky I came in here. He would’ve died, Harry. Salazar, what the hell were you thinking.’ Y/N burst into sobs and Harry reached to pull her into a hug, but she recoiled away, "No! No, I don’t want you to ever touch me again! I hate you so so much! You almost killed my best friend and you break my heart every day. You are to never look at me, breath near me, let alone try and speak to me, understand?’
The first time Harry saved Y/N’s life was when Harry pushed her out of the way of a Death Eater’s Unforgivable Curse. The Castle was in a frenzy when Death Eaters entered the Castle. Y/N had heard rumors about Dumbledore being dead but she didn’t believe them. She couldn’t believe them, not when she knew Harry had been with him. Y/N sent a Stunning Spell at a Death Eater, who crumbled when he hit the wall behind him. Y/N felt herself hitting the floor and cursed under her breath, a body was on top of her but she was too scared to open her eyes. However, after waiting a few seconds she saw Harry on top of her making her breath catch in her throat.
The first time Harry saw her since the sixth year, Harry had been making conversation with Ron when he saw her eyes. She looked radiant as ever and Harry swore he felt his heart jump out of his chest the second he saw the figure. Harry’s eyes seemed to be attracted to her during Bill and Fleur’s wedding ceremony making him wonder how she hadn’t seen him yet. Harry knew he wasn’t being discreet about it, hell, every Weasley had noticed his infatuation with the L/N, even if they were broken up. 'The Ministry has fallen. They are-’ The Patronus hadn’t even finished before the Death Eaters came. 'Harry come on!’ Hermione shouted at him, but his attention was nowhere near his two friends, his eyes were searching for Y/N. Ron grabbed onto his shoulder and they all apparated away. Harry never stopped worrying if she was alright or not.
The first time Y/n saw Harry since the sixth year, she had been healing the first year from one of the Professor’s curses. Y/N smiled at the shaking first year and helped him up, 'You are very brave and all the way healed. You are free to go as long as you make a pact with me, mister. No more getting hurt.’ The first year smiled and blushed, 'I’ll try, Ms.L/N.’ Y/N rolled her eyes, 'I am a Slytherin Seventh Year not some scary medical attendant.’ A whisper of Y/N’s name brought her attention to the crowd’s parting. A shocked gasp left her lips as she saw Harry standing there with a longing in his eyes that scared her. Y/N abandoned the poor first year and walked towards him, that turned into a run when she was close enough. She fell into his arms, as he sank down to the floor as he held her. Harry’s face was buried into Y/N’s neck as Y/N took in Harry’s scent. Pure, unusual silence strayed through the room as they watched the couple finally crumble under each other’s embraces. Everyone started to slowly talk to each other as more and more people collected into the room. Y/N and Harry didn’t budge, not even when all the Weasley’s told them they need to hear the plan. Harry merely mumbled something about Hermione and Ron doing it.
The last time Harry thought about Y/N before he died, Harry was walking through the woods with his loved ones. Lily was talking to Harry about something but his mind was elsewhere. He knew if he was in a different situation he would be using this time to his advantage but he couldn’t help his mind wandering to Y/N. He had passed her on his way here, she was tending to the wounded. He knew she was going to become an amazing Healer. But the scene couldn’t help but trigger a few thoughts in his brain. If he ran away now, he might have just enough time to grab Y/n, Hermione, and Ron. They could run away together. Get married. Have kids and Grandchildren. Harry smiled fondly at the thought of little Y/N’s and Harry’s running around. 'What are you smiling at Potter?’ Harry was brought to the present, his feet had taken him in front of Voldemort. His eyes took in the scene with a sense of calmness. Harry thought about the kisses him and Y/N had shared, the way she would comb through his hair as she read a book to him, and the way the would hold each other. Harry’s mind strayed away towards his most recent memory with her. They were holding each other for what seemed about five minutes but was probably about 10 or 15. He had taken in her scent as much as he could, she smelled of a mix of vanilla and gardenias, something Harry had recognized in his list of Ammortia smells. A green light splashed towards Harry, enveloping him completely, his last thought burning in his bran, the image of Y/N laughing at something he had said a long time ago.
The first time Y/N heard about Harry’s death, she was running out of the Great Hall to see what all the commotion was. Y/N caught up to Neville and was about to ask him what was going on when she heard her answer, 'Harry Potter is dead.’ The floor seemed to shake under Y/n, she lost balance and almost fell on the floor. There was no way Harry was dead. No, not her Harry. A loud scream erupted from her lips as she finally fell to her knees. Her heart was pounding, her mind was swirling, and she felt like an elephant was sitting on her chest. 'Well, it seems someone is upset. Who are you?’ Y/N growled and looked up at the disgusting man she’s known her whole life, "Ahh, Ms.L/N. Quite lovely to run into you again, I’ve been seeing plenty-’ 'Shut up shut up, you disgusting freak.’ 'Excuse me?’ 'You heard me. Just because you killed Harry does not mean it’s over. You are no Lord yet, Voldemort. You don’t understand. There’s a reason why the evil never wins. You always seem to forget that hope and light and love lives in everyone. Yes, you may rule for a little while. But there will always be someone brave enough to stand up and stop you from your destruction. Unfortunately for you, you have about one hundred of them behind me, and if you think you are going to kill every single one of us then you’re wrong. We will win and the best I can do for you is wish rot in hell.’
The first time they kissed each other since their breakup, Harry had defeated Voldemort once and for all. The golden light passed through Y/N’s eyes as she tried desperately to decipher what happened. Harry stood there next to a very much dead Voldemort. Shock and silence took over the occupants in the Great Hall for a while before it was broken by a delighted Y/n L/n. The Slytherin squirmed through the crowd as she made her way towards Harry. Harry started to run towards her and finally kissed her. The couple sighed, relief and happiness overtook them. It was nowhere near their best kiss, it was sloppy and salty from tears. Harry broke the kiss and nuzzled his nose against hers, but Y/N had different ideas. She captured his mouth in hers again. Y/N wrapped her arms around Harry’s neck and ran her fingers through the soft locks. A smile played on both of their lips as they knew they could finally feel this heavenly feeling whenever they wanted.

“Mr. Potter would you be kind enough and tell us what’s something muggles can’t live without?” Professor Burbage had spotted James bother Peter all along throughout the class. James never really understood why he took the class, but he thought it would come in handy when treating with muggles in a future.
Of course he hadn’t been paying attention and though he was nervously embarrassed, he smirked giving his same cocky smile as he ‘proudly’ stood. “Cake.” He answered making the rest of his peers laugh.
Severus and Lily of course rolled their eyes at his statement, but quiet and shy [y/n] had let out a giggle. Something James had never heard, making his gaze turn to her.
He knew her. He knew her house, some classes, and her name. But he didn’t know her.
Just her smiling giggle had captivated his attention and despite knowing he shouldn’t stare at her with a smile of awe, James turned his attention to the professor once again.
“Cake? Mr. Potter, I believe you’re wrong.” Professor Burbage spoke looking at the boy who simply rose his shoulders. “Oh, but contrary, professor. Isn’t that what Queen Marie Antoinette offered her French subjects? Did she not say, ‘let them eat cake?’ Yes, I believe so.” He was smug about his answer and that simply caused her smile to grow wider.
Professor Burbage had enough, obviously, but agreed on the quote he had mentioned.
“Ms. [y/l/n] would you like to elaborate?” Of course she didn’t. How stupid could she be to suggest her opinion at moments she didn’t want to express it. But nonetheless, she sat there nodding.
“Would it be oil or electricity at the moment?” The girl asked looking at her smiling professor. “Of course! I see you’ve been doing your research towards the oil crisis in America. Good job, Ms. [y/l/n]. Fifteen points to [y/h].”
James smiled looking at her. She was smart. Not only in magical aspects, but things out of their world. Next to her, a housemate had given her an excited high five like the ones they always shared when getting multiple correct answers in a row.
That’s how it simply started. James Potter had become fond of the girl. He couldn’t understand why out of the blue this girl he hadn’t acknowledged before was his new muse, but he hoped to be hers too.
-
A month later, from time to time whenever the boy spotted her alone, he would try and reach out to her. It started after a time when she was surrounded by a few friends. They had been practicing innocent spells outdoors. Approaching them, James could faintly hear their words and instead heard his heart ready to leave his ribcage.
Standing in front of the girls, the boy smiled at them. He wasn’t cocky nor confident. He was scared and only focused on [y/n]. James hadn’t noticed that Lily was sitting next to [y/n]. Before he had reached them, the redhead had been boasting about how he was going to bother her again. Despite trying to sound irritated, Lily Evans had started to accept how much she liked his attention.
But now she was losing it.
“[y/n]…” The girls became quiet. His face screamed fright and a small smirk appeared on her face. “Yes.” She spoke placing down her wand and letting the flower she created disappear.
Kicking a small rock around as he shoved his hands into his pockets, James made eye contact for a minimum amount before speaking again. “How are you?” He asked, flicking his eyes to look at her. Looking at her friends, [y/n] showed them an awkward smile. “Im alright, you?” She continued looking up at him.
James nodded, flinging around as he beat around the bush. “Same… would you, possibly… help me with potions?” He asked looking at her. [y/n] had tilted her head. ‘Was he serious? He’s headboy and needs help?’
“I don’t think you understand- potions is not my forte.” Turning to look at Lily, the girl smirked looking at him. “But Lily is great at it.”
James just nodded not taking her in account. “What about charms? I’ve been told you’re great at it.” The girls caught on, but Lily was left annoyed at his ignoring ways. He finally was the one to reject her attention.
“Oh go on, [y/n]! The boy needs your help.” James’ face grew red looking at the girls begin to giggle as [y/n] just sat there with a smile. “You might as well take her to Hogsmeade… of course for extra supplies.” One of the blonde girls just giggled at her own comment seeing his face reddening more. They knew his intentions and now he was frightened that she wouldn’t reciprocate them.
“Just forget about it.” James spoke. The boy was embarressed and for the first time, Lily had experienced it. There was no way, [y/n] could go after him. She was trapped under books and bags as she sat on the grass of the courtyard.
“You’re all a bunch of simpletons.” [y/n] spoke grabbing her items, stuffing a few of them into her bag, making her way to the Lower West courtyard. She didn’t try to go after James. How did she know the boy wasn’t planning on playing one of his cruel pranks on her?
-
“You’re coming in early, why so?” Looking up rather than playing with the broken stone passways, [y/n] looked up at William. He often helped her study and know aspects in history of the muggle world. “Aren’t you glad I’m giving you more of my time? I swear you’re always ungrateful.” She joked around, placing her items next to her as she sat a few inches or a two feet away from him.
“So what will we learn today?” She asked to which he smiled as he shrugged looking at her. “I thought maybe monarchs or pop culture in the fifties, America.” [y/n] shrugged, certain and specific laughter coming closer, but she ignored it.
“Queen Elizabeth the second it is.” She added.
In mere minutes, The Marauders found themselves being chased by Filch. It seemed that their trickery caused boils to develop on his face and despite thinking their hex was gross, [y/n] had a little laugh. How could she not? That man almost caused her detention for accidentally stepping on Ms. Norris’ tail.
Not only that, but James found himself holding the animal as the four ran. She was a bit disappointed knowing Remus’ had collaborated, but after all- they are his best friends.
James saw her, he heard her laugh and he saw the glint of pride on her eyes as he carried the cat, but it all faded as he saw William roll his eyes as he grabbed [y/n’s] arm in order to go away from the ordeal.
“Stupid, Ravenclaw…” James spoke, loud enough for the other three to hear him. Leaving the cat around, the four went into the Gryffindor common room to recover their breaths after running.
Sitting on his bed, James looked up at a tired Remus, something that never changed. “Moony! You’re friends with smart people, how are they?” The boy asked as he looked for his answers.
“What? We’re all smart here.” Remus didn’t get the hang of his words. Exasperatedly, James walked over to Remus’ bed. Wrapping his arm around the lanky boy he nodded. “Yes, smart and well known, but I mean people like those Ravenclaws you’re around, that one Hufflepuff girl, you know…” He couldn’t think of other ways to bring [y/n] up.
“And Lily…” Sirius added, but James nonchalantly agreed. “Yeah, I suppose. But other people. That William git.” Remus had grown a smirk looking at the boy. “And [y/n].” Peter added to which James smiled patting his back. “Yes of course! [y/l/n]! You’re friends with her, right?” James began biting the flesh around his unmanicured nails.
Remus suppressed his laugh as he nodded. “I suppose. It’s rather an academical friendship, but we know our fair share of information. Now if you want more personal criteria- then William is your guy.” James had bit his finger harder at the sound of William and personal.
Turning his head around, the boy cursed the fawn haired boy who went by the alias of William. “So they’re a thing?”
Sirius had chuckled from his laying position. He had finally experience James Potter fall out of struck with Lily Evans and become smitten by [y/n] [y/l/n]. “I do recall seeing them in the Lower West courtyard talking about history. I supposed muggle history as the Queen and presidents are said sometimes.” Peter innocently spoke making James twist his lips.
“My, my, my. Fleamont, you’ve fallen for this girl, haven’t you?” Sirius asked as he finally arose from his bed. “Nuh-uh! I still adore, my Lily Pad.” He couldn’t even say it without scowling afterwards.
Lily’s constant rejection had caused him to lose interest for the past year and a half, but his insistence had become habitual that it was hard not to flirt with her, but as of lately, his mind was flooded with [y/n’s] name and interests he knew about.
-
Another month had gone by and James Potter couldn’t bring himself to speak to her. Everytime he was near her, his heart was pressed to a microphone and he felt the need to cry from being too overwhelmed. This boy was falling hard with just the small information he knew about her and he needed more so he could finally cry and tell her that he found her worthy of loving.
But he was determined. He was determined to go up to her and smile as he asked her for at least half an hour of her time to talk about the randomest things ever or even history. He wanted to know her so much that he had spent a week learning about Nasser and the Suez Canal.
Unfortunately as he opened the doors of the classroom she found herself in, James spotted her working on a potion with Severus. The greaseball git he had tormented for years due to Lily, but now left alone for his interest in [y/n].
To his luck, everyone could tell them that nothing would ever happen between the girl and him. It was purely an academic acquaintance. Weaving through the table filled room, James often bumped into things, causing small giggles to leave her lips.
He could have sworn that if his pain caused her joy, then he would fall into a pit of needles for her happiness. That was the point into which his interest was going to. Finally reaching the table both Severus and her sat on, the dark haired boy scoffed as he walked away to put back the ingredients.
James didn’t speak first, instead he watch [y/n] pour the potion into medium sized vials that yet had no labels to them. An awkward silence settled for him, but from time to time [y/n] would look at him through the spaces the pipet made visible.
“Lily’s in the closet arranging stock for Professor Slughorn. If you want I can tell her you’re here.” [y/n] softly spoke letting the liquid fall smoothly into the bottle. James had stopped gazing off and instead paid attention to her. “Huh? Oh no… I’m actually here to just talk with you.” He was nervous, but by the eyebrow lift she had given- James could tell she was definitely skeptical of his words.
“Are you sure, James? I can just call her, over…” She spoke moving to another caldron. “Of course I am. [y/n], I’ve seen you around since first year, but barely have spoken to you. Don’t you believe it’s time that happens?” The girl raised her eyebrows again before letting them fall in disbelief.
“I suppose a seven year talk can’t be harmful. So what do you want to talk about?” James cringed hearing how long he had waited to really pay attention to her. “I don’t know, history?! You like history! What about Nasser and the Suez Canal?!” He was more excited now. His smile had grown and she giggled looking at his reddened cheeks. “Good topic, but I’m feeling royal. The land of two kings and queens. You know the one with King Peter the magnificent, Queen Susan the gentle, King Edmund the just, and Queen Lucy the valiant.” She was testing him.
Of course she wanted to be in good terms with the boy, but [y/n] wasn’t one to like her heart shattered for a fling that could’ve been avoided. James on the other hand intended to protect her, but how could he when she shot ridiculous questions his way.
James had frozen in embarrassment as he didn’t know, but was saved by William bowing as he heard her words. “Don’t forget King Caspian, [y/n].” The girl laughed as William understood, but James just sat there feeling… well beaten.
Not beaten at a game, but humiliated and as if all she tried to do was play games that she knew he would never understand. She could see the gleam of failed pride.
As much as she didn’t want to get herself hurt or Lily knowing she liked the boy… [y/n] followed along for once and ignored Lily’s feelings.
‘We’re not even friends. Nothing but academic acquaintances.’
Giving him a soft smile, [y/n] took his hand in hers. “I have to go… I’ll see you later..” Smiling at him, [y/n] gathered her items and allowed Lily to hide the vials.
“James.” The redhead spoke softly and quietly as she noticed him smiling whilst [y/n] left the room. “I’ll catch you later, Lily.” It wasn’t flirtatious nor seductive. It was a statement and friendly.
James Potter had fallen out of love with Lily Evans and in love with [y/n] [y/l/n].
-
Nonetheless James was still angrily embarrassed when Remus explained what the girl was talking about and what William had interrupted.
“She was talking about a stupid children’s book?” James asked running his fingers through his wet curls. “It’s not stupid. It’s more… how would I say- sort of magical and soothing to children at the time. She did talk about history though. World War two was happening at the time of some books.” James wasn’t any happier and [y/n] could tell from the long stares he allowed himself to show to her.
[y/n] often would roll her eyes at James’ stares and act as if she could careless about his actions, but really she was sorry for how she acted the previous day. She often questioned if James finally liked someone else other than Lily and why she was the someone else.
She couldn’t say she wasn’t feeling the same as he did, but for now- a friendship would do.
-
classes were over, and in a month winter break would approach them. Standing on the top of the steps that led to Hagrid’s hut, [y/n] stopped next to James. Neither looked at each other, but stood shoulder to shoulder.
The sound of owls flying by, the harsh wind, and the Ravenclaw qudditch team practising. Taking a bite of sour gummy worms, she extended her arm, offering some. No eye contact or words made. James thankfully took one and stuffing it in his mouth.
Finally she finished what was in her mouth, opening it slightly. “I present to you my gratitude in your effort for connection and my apologies for doubting your intentions.” It was soft and simple, but he adored those words.
The instant moment she spoke, James felt like puddy and any second he could collapse from having her presence so close to his.
“I decree, we should spend some time together.” James wasn’t scowling externally anymore. Instead he had a hidden smirk that she herself was able to locate, causing a smile to grow on her face.
“Tonight. Eight. In front of the prefects bathroom. I don’t have prefect duties, but I suppose your role as Head Boy gives you certain responsibilities and privileges that will get me off the hook in case we get caught.” James simply nodded as he turned to look at her.
“Tonight at eight.” He repeated, with a nod [y/n] walked away, her hands shoved inside her robe pockets and her bag slung over her right shoulder as she headed towards her common room.
-
So be it, [y/n] had reached her common room spending the hours thinking of ways to spend the afternoon with James. Letting the record player play some of The Cure, [y/n] closed her eyes imagining the things they could do.
Instead those turned into questions and scenarios she didn’t know might happen. His shy mannerism and kind self (the side of he she hasn’t seen) was showing and she was growing fond of it.
Letting time fly by fast, she stood to stuff the first Chronicles of Narnia book to let James know she was willing to open up a bit more to him. With books stuffed into the bag, portable record player, vinyls, candy in case he liked the sugar feeling, and pens- [y/n] made her way to the prefects bathroom.
She wasn’t one to sneak around or try to get in trouble, but the few times she did get in trouble, she felt her heart jump out of her body. Reaching the door leading to the bathroom, she stood there scared that higher authority might see her in this moment in which James was taking forever to arrive.
‘I knew this git was playing games… bloody git, I am for believing him.’ She was beginning to feel those thoughts weigh down on her. It was something so simple, yet she felt betrayal.
In mere seconds, those thoughts left when James tapped her shoulder. Her face demonstrated no emotions, but a small smile tugged at her lips as she looked his way. “Come on.” He whispered wrapping his cloak around them. She was amused to a high level and her face showed it.
-
The two had reached the training field. The cold grass touching the bare skin that they would show, the cold November weather appearing, and the moon shining bright enough for their enjoyment, but their wands worked well for lighting.
Playing with the grass as James laid on his back looking at the stars as she sat with her legs crossed, she spoke first. “I didn’t mean to make you look like a fool with the Narnia stuff… you’ve just been giving me more attention than usual and I’m skeptical as to why.”
James didn’t answer, but he thought about her words. “I brought the first book so you can know what’s going on so far. I have music too, do you like the Ramones? She asked with a small smile. James had sat up to look at her.
“Despite my past actions, I think you’re great and that made me believe I was just too stupid for you… but yes I like The Ramones and because I still want to talk to you- I forgive such treatment. I also want to apologise for making you think I’m an ass… I like you and I want to know you more.’
This time she didn’t speak; casting Lumos, she looked inside the vast charmed bag to look for the record player in which she allowed The Ramones to play. Laying next to each other, the two listened to music whilst she read to him.
One can say muggle history is their thing from now on, but this is how things went on for a while.

Week one:
Running through the corridors of Hogwarts, James spotted [y/n] sitting by the charms class in one of the old wooden benches. With a book in her hand about the Dark Arts, he headed her way in order to distract the girl.
And it worked, That was the first time she didn’t leave James to go study with William after the fawn haired boy tried to pull her away from puppy eyed james who puckered his lip and looked up pleadingly so she wouldn’t leave him.
“I guess one day won’t do harm.” William huffed as he walked away with a huff, his Ravenclaw robes flowing from his annoyed stomps.
“You are a pain.”
“Didn’t you like my eyes?”
“…”
“I know.”
Week two:
Constant bumps and run-ins were found amongst the two. James would do it on purpose when her friends were around and despite their girlish giggles, [y/n] tried to hide her blushing cheeks, that obviously everyone caught up to.
“You’re going out of the country, then?” James asked, tad bit disappointed.
“Oh don’t worry, James. I bet she’ll remember you even wherever she’s heading, right [y/n]?” Marlene had cut in. The Marauders and the girls were looking for him in order to settle something they had been talking about.
“Naturally.” She left everyone behind as she caught up to William in order to catch up. Not all they did was study. The two were fond of each other’s presence, platonically.
Watching her walk away, James couldn’t help but blush as he tampered with small pebbles as the boys whistled his way. James Potter was growing to love this girl.
What Marlene had started in pure fun only caused Lily to feel a sense of emptiness noticing the one she loved and once love her, was falling for someone that is not her.
No one cared about Lily’s emotions because for the past year she spoke proud, loud, and clear of her dislike for the boy. And finally understanding those words of rejection- James Potter had moved on.
Complete first month:
Before leaving the train, James Potter and [y/n] [y/l/n] stood inside a compartment once everyone was gone and a few people tried getting out of the train.
“I guess I’ll see you, in a while…”
“yeah…”
They didn’t want to part, but time was over for that month.
“Bye.”
Leaning to kiss his cheek, [y/n] had instead kissed the corner of his lips. Her cheeks became red and a smile had spread across his and her lips. “Bye…” Softly spoken, James repeated her actions.
Letting out nervous laughs, they opened the compartment and ignored Lily’s knowing stares.
Throughout the long winter break, both James and [y/n] couldn’t stop thinking about each other. Despite his feelings being out in the open, they both acted like close friends. Of course they wanted to write letters to each other, but the distance was too long for their owls to travel as much.
Month two:
They had returned to Hogwarts and despite wanting to jump into his arms when they first spotted each other once boarding the train, both James and [y/n] walked closely together to the point their fingers brushed against each others.
“Had fun?”
“Yeah… You?”
“Definitely… I missed you, you know.”
Silence had filled the room as a smile had spread against her face and his cheeks reddened. They didn’t turn to look at each other, but [y/n] knew well to grab his hand in that instant.
“Yeah, I figured… I missed you too.”
That second month was full of constant hand grabbing and running around the castle as James was the constant reason the two would get in trouble. Having her run up to him or he would grab her from behind just as a greeting form they shared.
Month three:
Constantly the two found themselves at night in the training pitch. Watching the stars and having the cold night wind hit their bodies. If they’re cold- the two would cuddle together
If it wasn’t the training pitch, they would hide in an abandoned classroom to avoid getting in trouble or the pesky questions from both of their friends. They would rarely spend it in well known locations for those same reasons- as much as their friends were adored, they would cause their relationship in the process fall.
So be it- their way of spending time together consisted of empty walls and rooms that to them was comfortable and homey as long as they stayed together.
Month four:
The end of their days at Hogwarts were coming and only two months remained. The cold winter winds were gone and the breezy and calm days of spring have arrived. The soft sun rays had hit the girl’s face as she walked towards the Marauders as she was sumound by them in order to obtain her opinion. The girls were there too. Girls she really wasn’t close to but occasionally spoke to when boredom had hit or they spoke to her first.
“Nice seeing you, [y/l/n].” Marlene spoke as she rested her weight on her arms. [y/n] on the other hand just gave her a small smile and raised her hand acknowledging the girl. Greeting her, she sat down carefully to avoid messing her robes.
“Like I was saying- a small gathering. You know, some friends, drinks, and music to enjoy the day. How about when almost everyone is at Hogsmeade?” Sirius said, his hands moving as he spoke.
The boys didn’t hesitate to agree as well as the reckless friends of Lily Evans who she herself sat there shaking her head. “I don’t think so, Black.” She spoke looking at the boys. [y/n] hadn’t said anything due to how little she talked to the girls and how she was barely getting to know the Marauders, if it wasn’t for James- she wouldn’t even be there.
“How about you, [y/n]?” Sirius spoke breaking her out of her daze. “Huh?” She asked looking at him, she wasn’t paying much attention as she had begun to think about a song, singing the lyrics in her mind. “Are you in for the party this weekend?” He asked again. Lily expected her to reject the idea and say she had a compromise with William to attend Hogsmeade just to break James’ heart.
Wicked, yes. But Lily wasn’t malicious and wouldn’t try to sabotage whatever the two had so far. Of course that didn’t mean she wouldn’t pursue James since he still wasn’t with [y/n].
-
“Sure, I could go for something small.” The girl sweetly answered, crossing her legs with a smile as she arranged her things. She knew this ‘meeting’ would last a while and it was the closest thing she had to getting to know his friends.
Lily wasn’t satisfied with her answer, but nonetheless had let it happen.
-
The weekend had arrived, [y/n] was allowed to bring a few of her own friends who at the moment were getting ready to head towards the location.
“Who’s going?” Her blonde friend asked adding red lipstick to her lips. She was excited to go to a party as she was always too scared to go to one. Flipping through the pages of a book, [y/n] began answering. “James and his friends, Lily’s friends, I don’t really know.” She really didn’t care as long as she had time to spent with James.
“Ooh James…” her same friend spoke fluffing [yn’s] hair. Her bright blue eyes twinkling as she teased the reading girl in the light forest green chiffon dress that was airy enough to make her feel like a fairy.
With colored cheeks and lips and a smile on them, the girls headed towards the black lake in which everyone joining the party had already gathered at. They would be lying if they said they weren’t late, but nonetheless their presence was well received as boys had instantly asked them for minutes of their time.
Though her friend didn’t neglect the offer, [y/n] did in search of James Potter who in the moment saw himself joking around with his friends and the girls they often hung around with. Marlene under Sirius’ arm and Dorcas under Remus’ with a red cup in each of their hands. Lily stood next to James allowing their shoulders and arms touch. One could say that’s her way of letting James know she was trying to openly be fond of him.
Laughing at his nastily unfunny jokes, the redheaded sought contact with him which he didn’t give much thought to it, but everyone around them had finally understood.
It hadn’t taken [y/n] long to find the loud boy or the group as they were louder than anyone there, but it demonstrated how much fun they were having. It was rather accidental how she had found him.
A few other of the girls she had invited had come along and not really knowing what to do, the girls would run around playing games that soon others in the party had joined. It was rather a simple game of tag, but it was interesting due to being outside.
-
“Sorry, ohh James!” She said with laughter leaving her lips and a wide smile on them.”You’re here! I really thought you were going to ditch this.” The boy spoke wrapping his arms around her. Looking closely at her, James’ cheeks lit up before grabbing her hand to pull her elsewhere. Leaning down to whisper in her ear, James smiled. “You look beautiful, you know.”
The boys and the girls just gave him knowing smiles and winks while Lily had left when [y/n] came into the picture. When Lily had returned James and [y/n] were gone and a drink rested on her hand.
Sirius smirked her way making Lily grow annoyed. “Well look at that, Evans did like my boy prongs after all.” His teasing made her roll her eyes as she sipped on the red cup. “So? I’m not going to admit anything.”
Everyone had dropped the subject and Lily had grown silent. She didn’t speak much and instead contemplated whether to tell him before he does anything with [y/n] or let things be, but she made her decision.
“I’m telling him.” She blurted out making the people in the group look her way in amusement. No one can blame the boys for not encouraging her, but they can be blamed for allowing her to think she could walk towards James’ way and interrupt his talk with the girl he had been pinning on the whole year.
Nonetheless she went his way close to the water where James’ and [y/n] talked.
-
“Shut up…” She jokingly spoke as James’ teased her for something small. With low chuckled leaving their lips, the two got closer to where their arms touched and their fingers brushed.
“Any plans for this summer?” James asked throwing a pebble to the lake. “Traveling before I begin work, you? Let me guess, one last plan of mischief.” James just gave her a lopsided smile before looking back down.
“Isn’t it weird? We grew up here and now we’re leaving it.” She nodded with a soft sigh escaping her lips. “I think what is more weird is being at home when I spend a year in these walls… Magic is so beautiful.” [y/n] was smiling at the thought of James next to her as she conjured a charm that allowed flowers to grow around them, but she couldn’t help but let the flowers witter at the thought of not seeing him after school, specially not due to the feelings she has developed.
James noticed the color drain from them and become dry, his hand had grabbed hers to caress it. “Do you see a future in this… in you and I?” She asked to which James cupped her face in his hand to make her look at his hazel eyes.
“I’ve spent this entire year since the beginning, trying to know you, trying to connect to you- I wan’t this new future and new life with… you. I want to be seen in public places or even the Ministry of Magic if that’s where you’ll work, with you. Holding your hand and calling you my significant other.”
She didn’t respond, but her lips crashing to his had let James know she wanted the same thing as him. James knew that the moment her lips melted onto his and she kissed him hungrily, that she wanted what he wanted and was ready for that commitment to be his lover.
His hands had found her face, cupping her cheeks as her arms wrapped around his neck. James felt the bliss he had been waiting for. He had been waiting for someone to fill up the hole in his heart that deserved love and he would fill the hole in her heart that ached for company in her trips and adventures.
James Potter and [y/n] [y/l/n] had found the perfect people for each other.
As in for Lily, the girl had come too late as she experienced the way [y/n] crashed her lips to his and he hungrily kissed her back to where when they parted, the biggest smiles rested on their lips.
James Potter had finally found someone who wouldn’t push him back and attained his affection and gave it to him as well.
That was [y/n] [y/l/n] to James Potter- his true love.

It is refreshing to see a congresswoman, who is unencumbered by corporate cash, speak truth to power.

This is my favourite post of all time ♥
