The official SxF social media continues to treat us with more clips from the CODE: White movie! This time we got one of the coolest ones so far - part of Yor's fight against Type F!

At the beginning of the clip, Yor asks who he is. When he attacks, she asks him to please stop any further attacks. After he pushes her away, he says "Is that all you've got...intruder?"

Also, for those who haven't yet heard the news, Crunchyroll recently announced a bunch of international release dates for the movie. Even though it's still over two months away, I'm really excited to finally be able to see it for myself on April 19th when it comes to the US 😀 Of course, having already read the novelization, I know everything that happens, but that doesn't hinder my hype at all!

Spy x Family Operation Diary - Forger outfit coordination

One of my favorite things to do in the SxF game is color-coordinate the outfits that the Forgers wear on their family outings! Here are some photos of my better attempts.

Turquoise polka dots (Anya and Bond got matching sunglasses so I added those as well).

The "celebrity set" (part of the extra downloadable content). Added red berets for Yor and Anya since they were visiting the art museum!

The "denim set" (also downloadable content).

Black formal attire.

Yellow polka dots (added the yellow ribbon for Yor and the sunglasses for Anya and Bond).

The "punk set" (downloadable content as well…also added the horns for Anya and Bond, and the black headband for Yor).

Different shades of blue.

White and turquoise (there were a few cases like this where I couldn't get all four of them to match, so I did two and two: Anya and Yor have matching white dresses and straw hats, and Loid's turquoise shirt matches Bond's turquoise bandana. Also matching sunglasses for Anya and Bond again!)

Pink polka dots.

The blue outfits they wore in the anime when visiting the aquarium! (obviously Bond didn't have one so I got the closest matching bandana for him!)

Another case where I matched two and two instead of all four - Loid and Anya are both wearing some shade of magenta, and Yor's brownish coat matches Bond's brown bandana.

The gold agent set you receive for completing the game! (I thought the hats and sunglasses were a bit much, so I removed those when they went on an outing, lol. Bond didn't get one so I improvised his!)

But this one is probably my favorite - you can get Loid's spy infiltration outfit, Yor's thorn princess outfit, and Anya's spy outfit she uses in episode 26! Bond also gets goggles for some reason so I threw those on too...we're just a totally normal family here 😅

Spy x Family volume 13 omake chapter translation and new pages

After my previous post about the release of volume 13, I was happy to find out that it did indeed include an omake chapter...and a heavy one, too! Here's my translation of the seven pages:

This omake was such a treat! I love how Endo made true of what he mentioned in the fanbook about how Franky does charity work. I also love the panel of Twilight's reaction when he hears Yor say those powerful words...they definitely tugged at his heartstrings even though he kept a stoic expression 😭 And more of Franky's war experience is a tear-jerker, too. I also love how sympathetic Yor was to Franky after hearing his story.

Overall, like the zoo omake chapter from volume 12, this one seems like it could be canon, since there's no 4th wall breaking like some of the others.

And here's the inside cover for volume 13! Quite a surprise that overworked Twilight replaces the city hall girls 😅

And lastly, here's the other extra page. I didn't paste a translation on it but basically Franky is talking about the early designs for the Authens. Camilla demands that he talk about hers and the other city hall girls' designs since they're on the volume cover. Franky replies that they were just drawn on the manuscript in one go, so there aren't any rough sketches remaining.

We got a short mission chapter today that takes place prior to the gala!

For some reason, the English version has Anya calling Damian by his actual name in this panel, something I don't think she's done before. But in the original Japanese version, she's still calling him "Sy-on Boy." Both of them calling the other by their actual name seems like a big step in their relationship, so it's weird that the English version did this...maybe it was just an unintentional mistake.

Who was Martha's boyfriend indeed? I don't know but maybe his initials are H.H.

I love that Anya wanted to pick a dress that resembles Yor's ❤️ Also her taking all the "killing" expressions literally was hilarious, such an Anya thing to do!

After the previous chapter, there was so much fan art of Anya practicing dancing with Loid...and it actually ended up being canon!

Nice to see Yor and Bond again, it's been a while...poor Bond though! First he gets stepped on, then wet. At least that wasn't a scalding hot drink!

I like that Loid offered to clean up the spill for Yor. Also that he brings up Plan C again - still waiting for that to become a plot point again!

Also, as an aside for those who haven't seen it yet, Endo made this new illustration last week to celebrate SxF's 5-year anniversary (5 years since chapter 1 was published!)

Thank you Endo for continuing to bring us joy with this amazing series! With the way the story's going, I can definitely see SxF continuing for another 5 years~ Can't wait to see how the plot and characters keep developing 😁

According to AMC Theaters in the USA, an art board illustrated by Tatsuya Endo will be given out from 4/18 to 4/21! Haven't found an image of what it looks like yet.

Yes, I'm excited for that! 😁

I haven't seen the art either - if it's Endo's art related to the movie, I believe the only drawings he's done are the original teaser image (of the Forgers in a plane) and the cover of the movie film files booklet. But if it's just general SxF art, it could be anything! Or it could be a completely original design, but I doubt he'd make special art just for this one little giveaway in another country 😅

Regardless, I'm planning to see the movie at least twice at AMC theaters, including release day on the 18th, so hopefully I'll be able to secure an artboard!

Also, if you haven't seen the actual cover for volume 13 yet, it was revealed a while back - the city hall employees!

Volume 13 will be released on March 4th. Hoping there will be more new illustrations and/or an omake chapter! 🤞
