2020 Election - Tumblr Posts - Page 2
Literally just... imagine waking up in a world where Tr*mp is no longer president.. that sounds so incredibly sexy to me
oh i’ve got some bad news for you about the young rising up

hey did you know
that if you’re still worried about more republicans ending up on the supreme court
2/3rds of the senate are up for election with the president/vp
so even if trump does get back in, a democrat senate won’t pull the supreme and circuits courts as far to the right as mitch fucking mcconnell’s would, and that’s assuming they’d give trump’s pick the time of day
as long as you secure a simple majority you’re good
keeping up with the american elections while not being american like

There’s less than a week left until the election. Please vote. Millions of people’s lives are at stake. I’m scared, my girlfriend is scared, you should be scared too. There is so much riding on this election.
Please vote.

SHARE, we need to raise awareness about this!

just came across this on twitter i’m sorry but i can’t trust anyone who un sarcastically says “I, in my great and unmatched wisdom”
Chaos just absolute and utter chaos
I’m having so much election anxiety.
I was up until like 3 am last night imagining what would happen if tr*mp wins.
Imagining children locked in cages.
Gay marriage made illegal.
Conversion therapy enforced.
Trans women murdered with no justice.
Reproductive rights stolen away.
Climate disintegrating.
Coral reefs being bleached.
Soldiers dying in foreign wars.
No condemnation of rampant racism.
Black people being murdered in the streets.
Economic slavery continuing.
Medication prices continuing to rise.
No reform.
No justice.
No change.
Maybe some of this is just my anxiety talking.
Maybe Biden wouldn’t prevent any of this.
But we know that Tr*mp is either already letting this happen or has explicitly supported it. We know that things won’t get better with another four years of him.
Maybe the lives of the privileged won’t change much. Maybe my white, cis, abled ass won’t directly see the damage he has done and would do. But others will. And those are the ones I’m fighting for.
I’m begging you: vote.
I’m begging you: stand up for those you don’t necessarily see.
I’m begging you: fight for some kind of change.
We get so comfortable in our unchanging lives that we forget: things not getting any worse is not enough. We need things to get better.
