This was going to be a quick sketch, but it turned into a quick painting (at least quick compared to how I normally paint).
Man, I really don't do linework much anymore, but I like how this turned out (even if I never bothered colouring it).

Wait, so Squak disguises all his letters as responses to book recommendations. ie thanking the person he's writing to for recommending a book to him. And the book in question is always The Green Hunter by Airry Pearry. Which Squak wrote. So he's making out that other people are recommending his own book to him, and that he's writing to thank them - but also sometimes responding with absolutely scathing reviews of it? What a marvellous mess.

I have a lot of thoughts and feelings and I will come back to that but first.... I don't think Rue and Hob can come together in one episode after everything and I kinda want them to have the point of working back to trust again and learning each other as well. Hob's self worth is frankly abysmal and Rue needs to understand the power they hold inside the courts even if they wish to dismantle it
The likelihood of me getting Hob's metal of honor with a quote from this season is entirely dependent on how heartbreaking next week is
