COLOSSAL LAPSE IN JUDGEMENT; forgot that consuming other adaptations of sherlock would mean i need to watch sherlock die iN fRONT OF JOHN. AGAIN.
Thinking hard about this screen in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows
1.) Holmes could feel himself dying and wanted the last thing he looked at to be Watson, this happens again at the falls scene.
2.) Watson is sewing up his own wounds, no analgesics just going to town on himself. Dare I say badass.
3.) CPR was not invented until 1956. Watson was just beating the hell out of Holmes’s corpse for the hell of it apparently. I know that is probably not the vibe the filmmakers intended but I cannot stop laughing.
4.) Madame Simza has known these men all of 2 (or maybe three?) days and they have been nothing but trouble and yet she holds Holmes in her lap and sings to him and tries to comfort Watson. Unsung hero of this film.
5.) We have no idea why Holmes died in the first place. The main conjecture is blood loss but the fact adrenaline brings him back means it couldn’t be hypovolemic shock. Maybe it’s something to do with the fact he drinks embalming fluid, maybe it’s the not eating in days. My personal belief is that he died to spite everyone in the train car.

Could you write a love letter from the RDJ Sherlock for his 'clever girl'. They haven't seen each other in a long time because of quarantine, he didn't know that he was in love with her before but the long separation has made him realize that he may be in love with her but he isn't sure because he has never felt this way before. Thank you!

What a long time it's been since we last saw one another. I feel like I have been trapped in the flat for years, nevermind months. It's funny how much this bothers me when I know I'm not permitted to go outside, yet any other time I would be alright in the flat for weeks on end.
During this time I have come to realise something. Something that may have always been there, but I was never quite sure. My feelings. Feelings for you.
I've never felt anything like this before, so it's possible the solitude is making me go mad. I hope, however, that all will be clear when we meet again. I just hope it isn't going to be much longer until we do.
