Here comes the tassel dragon, bearing the candy peach flag! I’m still learning how to use watercolors, but I like how he turned out! Concept: tassel dragons are bred and braided for parades or processions, and retire to live comfortable lives around antique shops or textile mills.

Jeanette asked for “Obscure mythical creatures” so I picked one I’d  never heard of before! 

The Namazu in Japanese mythology is basically a giant catfish that causes earthquakes when he thrashes around.
