Here Comes The Tassel Dragon, Bearing The Candy Peach Flag! Im Still Learning How To Use Watercolors,

Here comes the tassel dragon, bearing the candy peach flag! I’m still learning how to use watercolors, but I like how he turned out! Concept: tassel dragons are bred and braided for parades or processions, and retire to live comfortable lives around antique shops or textile mills.

illustration of a canine falling from high up in the sky, silhouetted against a bright orange sunset. long clouds stream close to the POV, partially obscuring a set of panels on the side; the panels contain four disembodied wolf muzzles snapping and snarling, dark blue smoke, and red-to-yellow striated stars.
illustration of a fox's head, looking straight up into the sky. behind its muzzle is a large panel, showing far-off mountains and big thunderclouds. the clouds trail off the panel to the right, where smaller foxes made of clouds fly off into the sky. from the clouds, the fox's paw steps down into flowing, golden and green grass. the grass overlays the fox's head.
an illustration of a coyote swimming downward in tranquil blue water, with a crow flying up from its shadow. the water graduates from dark at the very top to light blue at the bottom. orange and purple stars accent the ripples in the water, especially around the crow at the top. panels on the left and right show ripples of water radiating out and a plume of blue and purple galactic clouds, respectively.
illustration of a roaring tiger and the skull and neck vertebrae of a heron. they are both oriented around a nest of eggs. a blue heron wing extends out from the nest, blocking the path of the tiger. behind the tiger is a circular panel depicting a thunderstorm, and behind the heron, a panel showing a flowing creek, ripples of water, and blades of grass. little moons in various phases are placed in the four cardinal directions.
an illustration of an anthropomorphic dog, trapped in a collar and chains. the dog itself is rendered in black and white, while the chains and the dog's eyes are shades of bright red. it looks forward with determination, its snout and its paws breaking away from the chains. on the left, different panels show close-ups of its muzzle and its paw with chains wound around them; the last panel shows its eye, gazing down sadly. the panels are tilted askew. behind the dog itself is another panel, but it is shattered like glass in the direction they're moving toward.

excited to finally post these, a series of song cover illustrations + album cover i did for the band foxes on the run and their new EP!
