the worst part of x-men comics is how every 5-10 years we get a new batch of x-kids, give them really strong character arcs and plots - and then marvel creates a new group of kids and we never hear from the previous generation again other than tiny cameos in the background of the school

sigh yes. this. I was JUST thinking about this If you're not an original New Mutant? Good fuckin' luck At least we are starting to give the assorted generations a bit more spotlight in this era but still x men new mutants generation x academy x
