I... I just realized I actually haven't writen anything about that yet. Which is kinda worrying considering I spent the whole last week daydreaming about scenes and plot points and tiny details and scenes in their lives, going over and over them in my head.

Anyways, the Redemption AU (tha name is still in progress) is an AU where Agent 22 is raised as a FOWL agent alongside Black Heron until the past-focused events of "the Confidential caseflies of Agent 22".

They go as partners to win the page. They run away after that and get the SHUSH agent out of their trace. But Scrooge finds their secret lair by accident and interferes with their plans. They capture him and Black Heron insists 22 to just finish him of, but somehow Agent 22 can't do it. Both FOWL agents get into a fight, Heron feeling betrayed that her childhood crush friend partner is turning on her like that. Things end up bad, chaos ensues and the whole lab explodes with Black Heron inside.

Since she wants to know why the hell she felt like she couldn't kill Scrooge plus she needs to get away from FOWL asap if she wants to survive, Agent 22 joins SHUSH as McDuck's partner. In return, they only ask for whatever intel she may have and that the location pin they put on her must be on at all time, so SHUSH can track wherever she goes to make sure she's not still working with FOWL.

But Black Heron is not dead. And when she sees 22, now Bentina Beakley, on tv, after so many years, with Scrooge McDuck's return to adventuring, she knows exactly where her old partner is and that she wants revenge and the formula to the bouncing juice.

Except that, after Heron is defeated, Beakley does save her from falling to the ocean. 22 truly believed that she had been dead all this years and isn't willing to loose her again. So she doesn't give Black Heron to SHUSH and begs Scrooge to let her try to reconnect with her again.

Black Heron is brought into the Manor. Chaos ensues. The triplets have too much fun teasing them, much to Webby's reluctance (she has seen Heron trying to kill her granny for real and that's NOT funny), and there's a lot of sappy moments, injuries, fights with both FOWL and SHUSH, and drama in general. Probably mentions of blood, murder and cursing too.

More or less that's the not so short summary. I'll try to write some headcanons soon ^^

ok i already had some more drawn from weeks back that i didnt post so you’re actually in luck this time anon

I was rewatching "From the Confidential caseflies of Agent 22!" and probably everyone has already noticed and I'm late to the party, but Black Heron is hella strong. Like, unbelievably and way-out-of-the-ordinary strong.

She can stop Mrs Beakley's hits with a single hand. I checked twice. It wasn't her robot arm. They were actually matched in hand to hand combat. Not only that, but she can also send Beakley flying with a kick

Then, she is able to lift Mrs Beakley's unconscious body (aka. Some who is way taller and heavier than her), get her out through the kitchen's window and carry her (again. Unconscious. People is harder to move while unconscious) to the garden's main door of McDuck's Manor. That's if she actually got to open the door. If not, she would have had to climb the outer wall with her hostage.

She did something similarly in the past, when she lifted 22's whole body (unconscious. again. I swear that girl clearly has something for leaving people unconscious) from the floor to handcuff her into the vertical surface. Gravity doesn't really work with you if you try to do that.

Also, not really related to this, but she held that grudge for 50 years. She spent 50 whole. freaking. years hiding, training, building and planning just to get her revenge on Agent 22. Like, damn, talk about dedication.

Plus, in the past centered part of the chapter, it's confirmed that she's an expert in martial arts, engineering, robotics and chemistry. You know how difficult is to master one of those subjects??Not mentioning all of them??? She must had been around 20 years old back then. She probably built the guard robots herself.

aka. Black Heron is actually both super smart and strong. I'm starting to feel like the only reason she fails is because of her lack of social skills (she gets thrown of her game way too quickly with the slightlest comment) and, honestly? Relatable

So a year and a day ago premiered "From the Confidential Caseflies of Agent 22!", which was also Black Heron's first appearance and "Agent 22"'s official introduction (and like the dumb idiot I am, I totally forgot about which day it was)

I will never forget when Black Heron grabbed Agent 22 by her necklace during the auction and pulled her into a kiss before- wait, why do you mean this is not what happened??!!!

I noticed you drew a Negaverse Agent 22...How about a Negaverse Black Heron? I am a Agent 22 x Black Heron shipper!!!

‌I also hate myself because I just created a gentle spirit and left her in a universe where NegaAgent22 is a thing. What have I done to my baby? Someone please save her QwQ

WARNING: This contains mentions of torture and some other pretty dark things. I tried to not make it too explicit but proceed with caution (there's nothing on the drawings though)

This is the Negaverse's Black Heron before the fateful first time she crossed paths with Agent 22. She's a good-natured engineer, chemist and robotics expert that had formed part of FOWL until its complete annihilation under SHUSH's ruthless attacks and spends her free time fixing and designing defense programs so the weaker part of the population can fend off by themselves instead of becoming easy prey to the rest.

Even though she didn't have anyone to back her up, she managed to get a hold of the page at the auction, snatching it up under both 22 and McDuck's beaks, to prevent them from using the formula to get even more powerful and rule the world. Of course they tracked her down and 22 and her fought, but Heron destroyed the page (partly by accident) before any of them could even glance at the juice's recipe. Agent 22 certainly did NOT like that and was determined to make Heron pay in the most painful way possible (if there's something NegaBeakley certainly shares with her canon counterpart is that they're both terrifying when they're angry). Luckily she managed to escape a week later, thanks to an experimental torture method that got out of hand, causing the explosion that took Heron's arm. Both SHUSH agents thought that she had been burned alive and presumed her dead.

At first, Heron's revenge on Agent 22 was personal. She took away her partners and friends, her arm and tortured her mercilessly for days. But with time she realized that Agent 22 was a blood-thirsty monster that needed to be stopped. This wasn't just for her. The fate of thousands of innocent people depended on whether she stood up to her. And so she tried.

Agent 22 and Black Heron have been dancing around each other for half a century. It's NOT a healthy relationship. I'm sorry

Attempts of murder (only on Heron's part), poisoning, backstabbing, cuts, bruises and all kinds of torture, everything has turned into a refined game of the cat and the mouse over the years that is almost a routine by now.

Heron attempts to kill Agent 22 (after so many years she certainly needs to be creative), gets caugh after getting more or less close to her goal, 22 punishes her as she sees fit, Heron manages to escape and back to the start.

McDuck firmly believes that Beakley is wasting her time with that pathetic weakling and that Heron should have been killed decades ago. But 22 still finds her stubbornness and defiance (still strong as ever even though she has broken her countless times) almost charming and LOVES to toy with her and entertain her little charades, even though, after all these years, they're both so familiar with each other that Beakley can recognize Heron behind any kind of disguise, no matter how perfect it is.

Of course, Heron is not the only mouse Beakley plays with, but she's the one that has lasted the most by a long shot.

They usually don't last a month, Bentina gets tired of them pretty quickly.

It almost looks as if Agent 22 is reticent of killing her "nemesis",as if she had got attached.

As Webby points out to Heron one day, no one else has ever escaped from McDuck Manor's dungeons alive, yet she manages to run away every month or so thanks to a small "miscalculation" from Beakley's part.

But we all know that, no matter in which universe, Bentina Beakley is anything but sloppy.

Deep down, veeery deep down, Agent 22 cares about Heron in her own dark twisted way. She's HERS and if anyone dares to touch a single one of her feathers, nothing will protect them from her wrath.

Heron is drawn to Beakley like a moth to a flame (a very dangerous and sadistic flame) and, after she realizes that Bentina would never actually hurt her to a no-returning point (scars and bruises are good, but 22 would never tore off a limb or cause any damage that would potentially kill her or that Heron couldn't heal on her own after she gets away), Heron becomes more bold and daring, taunting 22 to finish her off and do worse or straight up putting herself in danger in hopes that Agent 22 will also get harmed in the process.

So yeah, they somehow love each other in an unhealthy, twisted way.
