I just realized...

Scrooge wil most certainly survive Beakley. I mean, look at how much she's changed since they first met yet he's still the same. Which means that someday his partner, the one who was always there to pick him up and showed him that together were better, won't be there for him anymore. He will see her die.

I also headcanon that ghouls live longer than normals, not all of them are immortal, but they can live for centuries, so the same goes for Morgana and Beakley.

And they know it.

Half of my OTPs are doomed to one surviving the other for a wide period of time, seeing their partner age up while they still look the same and now I have so many angsty scenes in my head I don't know what to do with this.

Do you have any headcanons for my Blind Miser x Werewolf Housekeeper AU? I am bored and want to draw something

Okay, now, when there's dangerous stuff around, like spikes and/or marbles, the floor is slippery or lava >:3 or anything that would make you think "DANGER!", Beakley just picks up Scrooge and carries him around, either piggyback or bridal style . He would protest (he can walk around on his own perfectly fine, thank you very much) but she's soft and warm and smells really good (he could sense her approaching just by her unique smell) so he rolls with it (and sometimes even falls asleep)

Sometimes they both get sensory overload. Scrooge's hearing and sense of smell has gotten more sensitive with the years, Beakley's senses are naturally ultra-sensitive and the world around them is so. Fucking. Noisy. So they hide in the Manor (there's a reason it's that isolated from the rest of Duckburg) curled up together and try to focus on the familiar heartbeat of their partner.

Scrooge knows the exact points behind the ears, in the middle of her back and on the base of her tail that would make Beakley go limp and completely relaxed with just a scratch and isn't afraid to use it when she can't fall asleep or is having a nightmare.

Scrooge's nightmares faded into oblivion as soon as he started sleeping with Beakley. He's surrounded by a fluffy ball of pure muscle that would torn apart effortlessly whatever that dared to even look funny at him. He's protected and he knows it.

I wanted to ask you... does Beakley have bloodlust from time to time? Does she have moments when she wants to kill something?? Bury her fangs deep on someone/something until she can feel the blood running?(Bc that would be a gold mine for potential angsty headcanons )

Also, I have a very vivid image in my head of Scrooge throwing something and immediately being like "oh, shit" bc he can hear Beakley is running after it. Is... Is it possible?

2. What’s the worst date they have ever been on with each other? Explain what happened.

You have no idea how much I struggled with this one.

An old fashioned date (a plain romantic dinner). Actually it was going pretty smooth (even if it the setting was a little bit boring for the both of them) until Glomgold showed up. The next thing Beakley knows, she has to get Scrooge out of jail in some random country in the other side of the frigging planet and deal with the autorities of at least seven other countries with Owlson, who for a moment looks like she's about to finally loose it and murder her employer.

3. Who takes amazing photos of their partner when their partner is excited about a new hair-do/make-up/outfit they have on?

Honestly, Scrooge barely changes style, so I have to go with Beakley. It's more like a proud grin than plain excitement though, in a "what do you say, ready to blast that place?" kind of way. However, when Scrooge does wear something new, once in a blue moon, Bentina is sure to get a picture when he's not paying attention.

5. Where was their first kiss? Who kissed who?

After an extremely long and dangerous mision where they both almost died several times(not by Scrooge's fault... most of them) trying to recover a powerful ancient artifact from F.O.W.L's headquarters that could (and technically did) unleash the gods' wrath and start the apocalypse. They were both incredulous and so dizzy with euphoria, blood loss and adrenaline, Beakley grabbed Scrooge by the lapels of his shirt and pulled him into a kiss. It was deep, messy and passionate, full of sweat, dirt and blood and with a salty hint from uncried tears of fear, pain and relief. It took McDuck completely by surprise but he didn't try to pull away, he welcomed it and almost reached back when she pulled away suddenly too aware of what she had been doing.

It was followed by a long awkward silence as they both assessed the situation, until Bentina smirked triumphantly, sighed in relief and added "No one will believe you if you told them anyways" and walked away slowly for him to catch up. Scrooge stood there even more dizzy than before, speechless for a second realizing that she was right (try telling someone, literally anyone, that Agent 22 of all people kissed you. In the middle of a mision. Yeah, good luck with that buddy), humphed in annoyance and slight admiration and joined her (just in time I might add, since they were both so weakened they immediately leaned on each other because they could barely stand on their own)

6. Would they ever wear matching outfits in public? If so, explain the outfits that they would wear.

In most missions where they had to pass as a couple, wearing matching outfits made people fall for it more easily. They've worn matching S.H.U.S.H uniforms, tuxedos, dresses, every other kind of fancy outfits you can imagine and maaybe a couple of maid outfits.

9. Who is sleepy in the morning and who gives the other kisses all over their face?  

Both wake up really early, so no one knows this, but Scrooge is completely awake a little bit faster and is more than happy with helping Bentina to shoo the remnants of sleepiness away.

10. Who loves to hold their partner against their chest?

Beakley. I have this one pretty clear. The world is dangerous, she has live it first hand, specially for a complete idiot like Scrooge McDuck, who rushes into danger apparently recklessly because he can, has more enemies in a single day than coins in his Money Bin and acts crazy and erratic from time to time. In the moments where she's holding him against her chest it feels like she can protect Scrooge from anything, even himself.

12. Who kisses their partner’s hand as reassurance that everything is going to be okay?

Scrooge (it's one of the few places he can reach on his own XD). Bentina is more of a forehead kisser.

14. How do they like to spend time together?

Sparring. It's the perfect adrenaline rush Beakley craves from time to time partnered with ahe feeling of adventure and danger Scrooge so deeply pursues in a safe and healthy environment for the two of them. If you wake up extra early or stay awake late enough, you can find them training together, fighting against each other in a way you would think they are trying to kill each other if it weren't for their daring smiles as knifes, swords, and even pieces of the walls and floor fly around them as blows, punches and kicks are delivered from both sides.

15. Who loves surprise their partner by going up behind them for a hug before kissing them?

Agsfafsggsg BOTH?? (It's actually difficult to surprise any of them from the back though, so most times they're already ready)

Like, Scrooge has been buried in an ancient book trying to figure where the next adventure is for hours and suddenly Bentina is hugging him so he kisses her (and then he's being lifted and the book is left behind because "you need to rest. And that's final.". "Agh, it's a trap!!" )

Or Beakley is cooking, moving pans and knives around at high speed and suddenly Scrooge's arms are around her waist.

1. It’s a starry night, what would they want to do the most? EX- Have a bonfire, talk about the world, snuggle up to each other under a blanket. ECT

They climb to the Manor's roof with a huge blanket to stargaze. They spend hours there, identifying every single constellation and remembering past adventures while cuddling. Sometimes the kids, specially Webby, spy on them from the chimney and join them once in a while if it's not too late.

4. Who is sun tanning while the other playfully throws a water balloon at them?

Normally Beakley is the one throwing the ballons while Scrooge is laying under the sun with coins in his eyes. Scrooge tried to get revenge a couple of times, but she hears him approaching and leaps out of the way at the last moment, teases him and they ended up having a water balloon war. The others would have joined them but the "game" was Webby style and they didn't feel like dying.

11. When their partner leaves for a week on a business trip, what is something special they do for their partner when they come home?

Scrooge leaves for a week A LOT, be it for business trips or adventure. Either way, when he's back he always has his favorite food and a warm cup of nutmeg tea waiting for him as he explains her the latests events of their journey.

When Beakley is the one out, "business trip" means SHUSH mission, aka. lot of trouble, at least one murder attempt, probably explosions and definitely not enough sleep. When she's back, there's always a bubble bath ready with relaxing oils and candles, a first aid kit in the bathroom just in case and the bed ready so she can crash in Scrooge's arms and sleep there safe and sound until she's ready to kick ass and take names.

7. Who wears the other’s sweaters as a nighty when it’s cold?

Scrooge. Beakley's sweaters are so big he can even cuddle inside them like if he was in a warm nest. (He also sleeps in them even when it's not cold if Beakley is not home. They have her smell and are comfortable and warm just like her.He really thinks she doesn't notice XD )

8. When cooking in the kitchen together, what songs do they dance to?

"CALL ME MAYBE", "ALL STAR" AND THE POKEMON THEME!!

Mostly Beakley, due to height difference. When Scrooge is too caught up in his own head, unwanted thoughts eating him alive, it's also the best way to snap him out of it, remind him that there's people who love and deeply care about him. They always end up giggling until their stomach hurt.

Wrote this at like 3am and never published it, so here’s prompt number one of my 38 OTP Prompts!

This isn’t an AU, I like to imagine this happened a couple months before they properly met.

If he was honest, he wasn’t all that interested in the library.

Scrooge had never been much of a reader, aside from the odd book about magical artefacts of course, but books had never appealed to him. Why would he read a book about a pirate sailing he seven seas when he could just do it himself?

But there was also the issue that he had no clue how technology worked, so if he was going to find something out, he’d have to check a book, hence his new archives.

It was due to these reasons that around midday he wandered into his archives to try and find out where some mystical artefact he had his eyes on had disappeared to, only to find he didn’t have anything on it.

And so Scrooge McDuck, millionaire, and of things kept going he way they were, the richest duck in the world, found himself in Duckburg library.

He arrived around one o clock, and headed straight for the non-fiction section, and began scanning the shelves.

It was now almost two o clock, and he still hadn’t found anything.

He was going insane.

Twice now he’d picked up a book, read the whole thing only to discover it had absolutely nothing to do with what he was looking for (Though one of them had a very helpful chapter about Mummy’s, of which he’d torn the pages out of for future reference), but he was Scrooge McDuck! He wouldn’t be beaten by books!

In hindsight he probably would.

The clock struck two and Scrooge decided enough was enough, and began walking out when he saw it out of the corner of his eye.

On the top shelf was the exact book he was looking for.

He grinned, pulled a ladder along from the other end of the shelf and clambered up. However, it would seem he’d gotten it a bit off, as the book was just out of reach. He shrugged, he could reach it, it was only just out of reach, so if he stretched he would surely be able to-

And then he fell.

And landed on a rather soft part of the floor.

Wait, that wasn’t right.

He looked up to see the face of a young woman, and realised that he was currently bridal-style in her arms.

He coughed awkwardly, ‘Tha- Oh, ok’

He was interrupted as the woman put him back down, he smoothed out his jacket and smiled at her, ‘Thank you’.

The woman, who sported pale blonde hair and was quite possibly the tallest and most muscular person hd ever seen, didn’t smile back, she just shrugged, ‘Don’t mention it’ she said, and climbed up a couple steps of the ladder and grabbed the book for him.

She glanced at the title, and raised an eyebrow, ‘The lights of Twilight?’

Scrooge grinned triumphantly, ‘Yes! Finally!’ He cheered, grabbing the book out of her hand and beginning to flick through the pages at an alarming rate.

‘You kno-‘

‘I’ve been researching this for weeks, apparently there’s a treas-‘

‘It’s fake’

‘What’

Scrooge glared at her ‘I am Scrooge McDuck, I do not research fake artefacts’

‘Yes you do’

‘No I don’t’

‘Yes you do’

‘No I don’t!’

‘Yes you do’

‘I do not!’

‘Yes you- oh this is pointless’ she groaned, ‘Look, it was a ruse planted by the government in order to lure a world renowned thief into a trap, they made up a wild story about treasure appearing at twilight so she’d take the bait.’

‘Well if that’s true - which it is very clearly not – then why is there so much information on it, hmm?’

‘Because it took years to fully convince her to go after the treasure, so by the time they’d finally captured her there was to much fake evidence to reclaim, so they left it’

‘And how would you know all this?’

‘I can’t tell you that’

‘Oh really?’

‘Really, now if you’ll excuse me, I have better things to be doing then spending my time with ignorant morons such as yourself’

‘Oi! I’m Scro-‘

‘I’m aware – here’ she grabbed a book off the shelf and threw it at him, ‘It’s about an actual artefact in the Atlantic, do have fun’

Scrooge grumbled something about know-it-all’s as he stormed out, vowing never to enter that god forsaken library again.

Of course he came back a few moments later to pick up that book, after all, a trip to the Atlantic sounded interesting.
