small character designer note : I love that rose marigold's little pin is now black from when it used to be white in the original game, it's like signalling the time she was possessed / used by barbara jagger for the events in alan wake and since then has always been touched by the dark place like it never left her in some capacity and now has a hold on her life the way it did with cynthia probably done for other reasons but I adore the notion

another tumblr request ( from @thots-to-the-void ) ! specifically to have mayor setter be petted by any characters and given I haven't seen much fanart of warlin door, I'd do some of him ! the funny thing about alan wake 2 going into it is ilmo and jaakko were never ONCE wrong about anything, with the cult of the tree esp like. the method of killing, and even jus' alan himself because with the ending of alan wake 2 having saga jus' shoot him, like, in a way yeah it does all end with him, he's the source, the dark place kept manifesting itself because of scratch, who is a part of alan, so it's like. while they got like misconceptions at best, lowkey a lot of the plot wouldn't have happened had they not been stopped in killing and disposing of nightingale

I love the music in alan wake 2, but the fact stands this is legitamately something the composer did and I don't know how else to feel other than go off ! go off I guess !!! I'm concerned but go the fuck off !!!
I mean they did a whole scene with ahti and alex casey naked-ish but, you would think the dedication has some limits, apparently not !
