summary: you were younger then nick by a couple of years, and sometimes he’d come over to your apartment after late nights at the precinct, he’d come over to just enjoy peace and serenity
content: fluff, reader is in school (2nd or 3rd year of college) suggestive acts (nothing extreme), age gap!, mentions of sexual abuse due to svu cases, nothing too triggering, just a fluffy one shot overall
super short
✧ ✧
it was late at night, you were working on an essay that was due by the end of the week.. you were getting strained and decided to take a break and call it a day.
You made yourself a quick meal, spicy buldak noodles, a sandwich and your favorite drink that was saved in the fridge. You prepared your meal as you were watching your favorite show. you were almost done preparing your late-night snack when you heard the doorknob shake.
You lived a pretty safe vicinity so the chances of a burgler were slim, but you still were vigilant about your safety, you quickly grabbed your broom and held it tight.
Upon your discovery, the door opened and you saw your boyfriend… nick.
You sighed of relief, and he looked at you worried
“Jesus Nick, you scared me!” “geez sorry, i thought this neighbor was safe?”
you put the broom down, “I mean it is but you never know” “yeah.. tell me about it”
he walked to you as you went back in finishing preparing your ramen, he went behind you and grabbed you hips and nuzzled his head in between your neck, kissing you, making you giggle due to his stubble
he continued and you moved your head slightly to give him more access, he took this as a sign to continue. You tried not to get distracted but you let a soft moan escape.
he laughed, and started moving up your body; cupping your boobs. You laughed and finally pushed him away
“stop Nick” you laughed “I want to eat, I’ve been working on an assignment for the past 5 hours.” he let go and laughed “my hard working girl, okay okay I’ll let you eat but next time, you’re all mine!”
you shook your head in sarcasm, he took of his jacket and unbuttoned his white shirt a couple of buttons down, and took off his shoes. He adjusted himself on your couch, and laid there with his eyes closed taking in the aroma therapy essential oils diffuser thats going around your room.
you look at him, now realizing that he’s here strangely. Nick stops by late nights most weekends or if it’s a weekday he’ll let you know earlier in the day if he’s stopping by, but it’s currently a Tuesday at 12:36 am.
“hey Nick?”
he hummed in response, most likely getting sleepy
“not to sound rude or anything.. but why are you here? It’s late on a Tuesday night, shouldn’t you be at your place?”
He opened one eye and looked over at you
“do you not want me here?” He said a bit suspicious
“oh god, no like yeah I do, but I just realized what day it was and you know you usually let me know when you’re coming over and it’s usually weekends you spend the night with me, I just found it odd you came to visit me tonight” “I love it when you’re here really”
you finally finished your ramen and took it towards the couch where Nick was, and started eating as you waited for a response.
he was hesitant in his answer, he seemed stressed and frustrated.
“today we had a tough case.. a rape case..”
you look at him attentively, making sure you are hearing him and that he has your fullest attention.
you nod in continuous
“and well… it’s about a 8 year old girl who’s after school teacher has been acting inappropriately with her.. you know like touching her where she shouldn’t be touched”
“oh my god” was what you let out
“yeah, and her home life isn’t easy, this one was a bit tough to work on dude to how young and bright this little girl is. I hate to see anyone take it away from her”
you put your ramen down and get close to him, caressing his hand.
“and being here.. with you just brings me peace. All is perfect here, so sorry i came unexpected but i really needed to see you”
you smiled at him
“awe baby, you know you are always welcomed here, I love having you here, never goes a day where I don’t miss you”
you make him look at you and caress his cheek, looking so attentively at his eyes, leaning in and kissing him so gracefully.
he takes you in, and guides a hand on your neck. You move to his lap and continue to kiss him, sucking on each others lips, and you slightly grinding on him
he groans a bit and you continue to bit his lip. You pull away with his lip in between your teeth and stare at him and run a finger across his now plumped lips
“thank you for coming over”
“thank you for having me”

Chapter 1
Spending a crisp, early autumn, Monday night in formalwear was not Larissa Vasquez‘s idea of a perfect evening, but it was what the charity circuit demanded of her tonight. Sure, it felt good to be philanthropic, and an open bar was nice, as was the distraction of the beautiful modern art displays that surrounded her and her handsome “date”, her father, Raul, who had recruited Larissa as his plus one when her mother came down with the flu a few days prior, but it wasn’t exactly cozy, was it?
It was nice to spend this time alone with her dear dad though. Her parents, siblings, niece, and nephews shared a tight knit bond, and it was always amazing how present and devoted a man Raul was to his family, but it was a rarity to spend one on one time together, just because.
“More bubbles for you?” Raul asked his daughter as he stood from the table they shared with several other Platinum-level donors, mostly his own colleagues.
Larissa shook her head “no” and remained seated, picking at her tiramisu, “I’ll float away if I have any more.” she smiled.
After a few minutes of making small talk with her table mates, Larissa also excused herself for a bit of people watching. That’s when she saw him.
Could it be? Badge # 0188? The café cop? She didn’t know his name, but for the last few months she had shared a weekly round of smiles and innocent flirtation with a cop at the gourmet coffee shop between her home and the new hospital where she worked.
Despite the fact that she knew next to nothing about him, she thought about him more than she cared to admit. And why shouldn’t she enjoy a nice fantasy now and then? She was single (AF as her teenage nephew would say) And he was tall, with gorgeous blue eyes, and a perfectly coiffed head of hair. There was something about their brief, under-caffeinated interactions that had her thinking he was unlike any man she had known. But neither of them had the courage to pursue things beyond the café. Until, tonight.
This guy was slightly more put together than she had ever seen in the coffee cop, but it was a formal event. She was certain it was him. And he would have to recognize her too. Right?
Larissa grabbed some liquid courage from a passing tray and tried, as casually as possible, to approach the detective, who was, thankfully, alone, admiring a sculpture.
“Ahem” a slightly dramatic throat clearing alerted the detective to a beautiful woman standing next to him. He secretly hoped it was his attention she was trying to get.
He took a sip from his beer bottle, flashed his best smile, and motioned to the sculpture before them.
“What do you think?”
Larissa smiled back, but didn’t turn to look back at the sculpture. “You don’t recognize me, do you?”
Shit, Sonny thought. He was usually so good with faces. It was part of his job to be observant. I’m supposed to know her!?
Reading his slightly puzzled face, Larissa offered a hint. “Have any good bear claws lately?” she teased, making reference to their last interaction where she had unknowingly ordered the last one from the bakery case and he audibly groaned in line behind her.
The lightbulb went off immediately. “The Daily Grind!” Sonny exclaimed, with a wag of the finger. “I’m sorry, I guess it’s sometimes true what they say about a face out of place.”
“Not that I’m usually wearing this much face on my way to work in the morning.” she said with a laugh, motioning to her slightly more done up hair and make up appearance.
“I don’t know; you always look great to me.” Sonny stated, softly and genuinely.
She smiled and batted her lashes in appreciation of the compliment, but also took the opportunity to joke: “It's part of my plan to meet men in their most vulnerable and uncaffeinated state. Everything looks like a step up after that.”
Before Sonny could return the banter, a second man joined them. “There you are, darling. You really did float away.” said Raul to Larissa with a wink, motioning to her glass of champagne.
“Daddy, hi!” she said with a slight blush and cringe. Oh, God she thought What am I doing? I don’t even know this guy’s name to introduce him. I’m here trying to drunkenly flirt in front of my father and all his friends from work that I’ve known since childhood.
As if reading her mind, Raul suavely extended his hand and introduced himself to the detective. “Raul Vasquez” he said with a firm, but warm shake. “My daughter is not usually at such a loss for words.”
The introduction turned out not to be necessary. The famously wordy detective quickly went full fanboy. “Sonny Carisi, sir. It’s a pleasure. We’ve met before, actually. When I was a student at Fordham a couple years back, you gave a lecture to my Intellectual Property class. We spoke briefly about your firm’s pro bono work.”
Raul took a minute to size him up, trying to remember the interaction he described. “You were working in sex crimes. It was an evening class. You knew my friend, Mr. Ellis, from the Innocence Project, is that right?”
“Yes, sir. He has a great relationship with my lieutenant.”
“He is Larissa’s godfather.” he said proudly, motioning back to his daughter, the member of their little group they had briefly forgotten about while engaging in mutual admiration and shop talk.
“Larissa” Sonny repeated, as he extended his hand and looked smitten all over again by the beautiful blonde. “I’m very glad we met.”
“Carisi!” a slightly buzzed Chief Dodds interrupted from the bar a few yards away. “There’s someone you’ve got to meet.”
“Yeah, Chief, I’m coming.” he called back with a slight roll of the eye and sip of his beer, not wanting to break away from his present company. “Well, duty calls. You both get home safely.”
“Good night” Larissa returned with a slightly heartbroken smile.
After all that, they were no further along than they had been at the coffee shop! They knew each other’s names now, but there was no phone number exchange, or plan to meet. What if they never saw each other again?
Of course, she understood. He couldn’t exactly be seen flirting so shamelessly in front of her father. It was just bad timing. At least they had the promise of the café later this week. Right?
As she watched Sonny walk away, her rambling thoughts were interrupted by her father. “Shall we get our coats, darling? I think I’ve had enough philanthropy for one evening.”
“Yes” she nodded. “Let’s do it.”
Lots going on during last night’s episodes of SVU and Organized Crime. Fabulous performances.
Seems small, but it honestly stood out to me that Amanda asked how Sonny’s family was doing to during quarantine. It was one of the first times I’ve seen the support flow the other way, which is part of the reason I don’t always root for this ship.
So I started watching SVU and all I have to say is.. John Munch 😮💨 I got an idea for a soulmate au for him and I just ah I needed to share
What I think some of the ADAs do while waiting for a jury verdict:
Rafael: he’s either A, fighting off a headache and practically downing ibuprofen- or he’s squabbling with Liv- heavy in the last one-
Alex: Skimming though law Text books for absolute funsies (also because she’s over thinking the court cases she mentioned during indictment and she has to double check or Liz will never hear the end of it-) that or she would go chat it up with Cragen over some drinks (only Alex is drinking, cragens AA boys would have his ass if he drank-)
Sonny: Oh my boy is stressing. He’s pacing, biting his nails, loosening his tie because suddenly it’s a million degrees in that room- then he panics even more and the second someone asks if he’s okay, especially Rollins- the nausea hit him-
Casey: To be honest she’s probably just chilling in her office, and this is for simpler cases, I feel like she will just sit in her mess of an office (Seriously it looks like a mad scientist lives in there-) and mess with her soft ball things, that or going to bat with Elliot, that usually ends in her having to book it back to the court house quick enough to get the verdict-

Not Worth It
Summary: Bella is Olivia and Amanda's oldest who has an argument with her boyfriend that happens to blow up at her parent’s work function. Luckily, her Moms and brother are always there when she needs them.
Word Count: 1379
A/N: Okay, so this is my first little imagine so I'm actually really nervous about posting it. I don't know if it's turned out alright but we are just gonna go for it. Let me know if you want anything in particular written. Hope you all like it!
—--------------------------------------------
Zipping up the pink sparkly dress, Bella looked at herself in the mirror. Her brown hair was curled and her makeup was perfect for the occasion. Tonight was a work function for both of her moms.
Jesse and Billie weren't old enough to go so it was like a date night with three of her favourite people.
But her mind was elsewhere. Her boyfriend, who also happened to be the son of a lieutenant from a different branch, and Bella had had an argument. A big one. She told him she needed some space.
So it was the perfect night to spend time with the three people that made her feel the safest and happiest.
Except they didn't know about any of this. Which to Bella was probably a good thing.
Her mama would want to kill anyone who made her feel even a tiny bit sad. And her mom would be trying to stop Olivia from doing so - but secretly want to let her.
Then there is Noah, he would just want to protect his older sister in any way possible.
A knock at the door startled her from her thoughts.
“Bella baby? Are you ready?” Her Mama’s voice came through the door.
“Yea, I'm coming now. Let me just grab my jacket.”
“Okay, we are leaving in five.”
Grabbing her jacket and purse, Bella put the finishing touches on her makeup. She exited her room to find her moms and siblings in the living room with their babysitter Lucy.
“Okay, I'm ready.”
Multiple pairs of eyes flicked her way and she watched her Mom’s start to tear up.
“Okay, that's enough guys. I was more dressed up than this at prom.”
“We know baby, you’re just gorgeous.” Your mom’s made their way over to you brushing the hair out of your face. “Just like you Mama.”
Olivia rolled her eyes but nodded in agreement before pecking her wife on the lips.
“If you two are done crying over Bells we have to go.” Noah cut in smiling. “Or we are gonna be late.”
“He's right, you don't want to be late.” Lucy smiled.
“Okay, let's go. Be good for Lucy and remember to brush your teeth before bed, okay?” Mom said looking at Jesse and Billie.
They nodded their head in agreement and hugged each person goodbye.
Once the four of them were out of the house, Noah grabbed onto his sister’s arm escorting her down the stairs. They made their way to the car before hopping in.
Arriving at the hotel where the event was to be held, Noah stopped his sister before walking in. “Mom’s are right, you look beautiful. Ryan’s a lucky guy.”
She nodded slightly, hoping he didn't notice her face falter at his name.
“You okay?”
“Yea yea, I’m fine. Just nervous. A lot of people will be here.”
It was an easy excuse for anything as everyone knew she had bad anxiety.
“You’ll be fine, I’m right here with you.” He smiled linking their arms.
—--------------------------------------------
It was hours later and the night was going smoothly. Bella had found a couple of her friends that also had parents in the force, so she was comfortable.
The group had been chatting about funny things their parents had done when Bella’s phone went off.
“Sorry guys, I’ll be right back.” She smiled leaving the group and walking outside to the foyer.
“What are you doing here? I thought you said you weren’t gonna come?” She stated looking at him.
“I just couldn’t resist seeing my beautiful girlfriend.” He slurred. “But it looks like she doesn’t want to see me.”
“Are you drunk?”
“No, of course not.” He stumbled forward slightly as she caught his body.
“Ryan. Here sit down.” She ushered him to a seat against the wall. Grabbing a water bottle from a nearby table she opened it and handed it to him. “Drink this, hopefully, you can sober up slightly before your parents or anyone else sees.”
“Who cares about them. All that matters is you.”
“Yeah, sure.” She whispered, rolling her eyes.
“What? You can’t still be mad at me. I love you Belly Welly.”
“Ryan stop it. You can’t just go round making comments without thinking of other people's feelings.” She started to get emotional. “You know my Dad is a touchy topic for me. It isn’t fair what you said.”
“Well, it's true. I'm not surprised he left.”
And that was it. He said it for the second time.
Bella took a breath trying not to cry. Before she could say anything else another voice cut in.
“Bella. What are you doing out here? Mom’s have been looking for you everywhere and their starting to get worri-”
“Noah! My main man.” Ryan said standing and falling into Noah's arms. Another one of her friends was with him, Sarah.
“Ryan? Are you okay?”
“I’m perfect! I was just telling your sist-”
“He's drunk Noah.” She cut him off looking at her brother. “Sarah, can you go get his Dad or something?”
“Yea, of course.” She quickly ran off.
“Dude you're nineteen. Which means you're underage.” He sighed pushing him back down into the seat. “Why are you even drinking anyway?”
“Because of this girl right here.” He pointed at her. “Because she's mad at me.”
“What?” He looked at her.
“It's nothing, Noah. But Ryan needs to go home.”
“No!” He raised his voice as he stood up again. “See this is what I was talking about. You're just so, so... so controlling. Every little thing I do. And that's why I said what I said. It's true and you know it. You don’t deserve one anyway.”
A tear fell down Bella’s cheek and she quickly wiped it away.
“Ryan, stop. Remember that's my sister you’re talking to. Now, whatever is going on between you two or whatever you claim she did. She doesn’t deserve to be yelled at by you, okay?” Noah said stepping in front of his sister.
“Noah! Bella!”
It was Olivia, Amanda and Ryan’s Dad, David.
“What's going on here?” Olivia asked looking between the 3 teens. She could tell something was off just by looking at her daughter.
“He's drunk,” Noah stated moving to stand beside his sister.
“Your drunk?” David asked.
“So what if I am! I needed it to survive the shit that she gives me.” He pointed at Bella again stumbling towards her.
Before he could get any closer Olivia and Amanda stepped in front of her.
“What did you just say about my daughter?” Amanda asked narrowing her eyes at him.
“Well, it's true. All she ever does is nag and annoy me. I'm just saying I can see why her Dad didn't want her.”
And that was it. Noah snapped. He moved in front of his moms and punched Ryan before pushing him up against the wall.
“Say anything about my sister again and I swear to god-” He yelled in his face.
The three adults pulled Noah off of Ryan as David turned to him. “You don’t ever speak to a woman like that. Do you hear me?!”
“Sureeee.” He slurred smirking.
“You need to go, Ryan,” Olivia said, her mama bear side starting to kick in. “Or you'll get a whole lot worse for talking to my daughter like that.”
“I’m not leaving.” He stated sitting down in the chair.
“We're not gonna say it again,” Amanda growled.
“And I said I’m not leaving.” He leaned forward.
“Ry-” David was cut off.
“It’s fine.”
Everyone turned to look at Bella. It was the first thing she had said since her parents got there.
“Bel-”
“No, it’s fine. He can stay. But I’m going.” She said grabbing her purse.
Before anyone could stop her she turned and walked out of the building.
“Mom, Mama, don't worry I'll go after her and walk her home,” Noah said giving each of his moms a quick kiss on the cheek before running after his sister. “Bells wait up.”
“And there she goes, running away again. Like father, like daughter.” Ryan sighed, leaning back.
Amanda moved forward swiftly slapping him across the cheek. “Let's go.” She turned back towards her wife, linked hands and followed in the direction her two eldest just went.

how old is noah? do kids at that age know what being bi is? I don't think it's progressive, I think it's weird a kid less than 10 is so sure 'bout his sexuality, in fact... should a kid so young know 'bout sexuality at all?
he said he wasn't interested in having boyfriends or girlfriends... and my question is does a kid that age really know what that hell means?
I know little kids hug and kiss, but I'm sure it's innocent and they don't really know what it really means. I'd be ok with a teen coming out, but a 8/9 kid being so sure like he did understand is...
svu writers are forced, it doesn't seem honest, it's like they only want to follow the current trend with no real meaning or understanding.
I have one thing to say about Rollins and Carisi:
It’s about damn time!
If the writers decide to backpedal and cause drama (which they will) I will have words! But it was adorable and sweet. Carisi has always been there for Rollins and her kids and she deserves to be happy 😭
