With the true colors ending amphibia almost has Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror vibe for me (if amphibia was a horror that is)
Marcy runs away from home to another world (makes her friend steal shit along the way) tricking her friends to come with her.
And in the end her friends are angry at her, she's alone and her perfect world got turned into a nightmare. One of her friends gets home. Other is stuck. And she? She dies in the world she escaped to.
Idk kinda gives me the same vibes (to be fair last time i read Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror was when I was 10 so i could be totally off)

imagine if Anne, Sasha, Marcy & Plantars(for some reason) got zapped to the Boiling Isles instead of back to Earth like intended. BUT THE TWIST IS: it’s after all the events of The Owl House have ended. Like Belos is defeated, the coven system was reworked, lumity figured their shit out, etc. etc. and it’s almost like a TOH sequel, but focused on the Amphibia characters. bonus if the TOH beta designs are used. Seems like AU material to me
