been thinking about this more, and she moved out immediately, didn't she? cause when the second game started, she was about 14 or 15 when joel had come back with tommy, right? so it had to have been immediate. that hurts, man. I wonder if she was thinking about that on the way back from the hospital :( like, we obviously don't know how immediate it was, so it could've been immediately after getting back :( if she did it to get some space from joel, she could've had tommy help her make the garage live-able, though. again, he did construction, he could've helped fix it up instead of joel. I keep forgetting how quickly she moved out/in, I keep thinking it was around 18/19 and that one makes sense. she probably wants to feel like a normal kid, so moving out around that age would make sense. but she didn't. she moved out at like 15? I think it was just to get away from joel :(
This is a little random but what are your thoughts about Ellie living in Joel’s garage and not in the house with him?

and mmmmm I have Many A Thought. it makes sense for her to move out to that garage so she can be more independent / kinda get away from joel / get some soace from him, but the fact it's not finished is what deals me in :( like, joel is a contractor, he could've fixed it! that is your daughter, sir! fix it! please! I think that's really my biggest thing about it, like, it makes sense (and the fact joel can see when she gets home from one of the windows in his house? more devastation), but it is not finished. we know jackson can do construction-y things, I'm sure that could've been dealt with, y'know?

“A hybrid?” You barely hold back a cough, the sandwich you were eating getting caught in your throat at your friend’s sudden proposal.
“Don’t sound so surprised Y/N, this isn’t the first time we’ve talked about this.” Jihyo rolls her eyes, pushing her water bottle closer to you as she notices you struggling.
You quickly take a sip, the cool water soothing your irritated throat. “No, but it’s the first time we’ve ever talked about me and hybrids in the same sentence.” You shake your head as you lean back in your chair, Jihyo’s gaze narrowing as she looks at you.
You quickly advert your eyes to pick at your shirt. Somehow, Jihyo always manages to make you do something you’re unsure of and this is too serious to be one of those situations.
“But wouldn’t it be nice? You always complain about being lonely.” Jihyo says, a knowing smile on her face as she takes another bite of her own food.
“Yeah, but I meant a boyfriend, not a hybrid!” You sigh.
