sometimes I feel like a flower

maybe a peony or a rose

I imagine myself in the middle of nowhere all alone

sometimes I believe I'm a flower

A wilting flower trying very hard to hold on

I see myself trying to stay alive, but somehow, being stuck in the same place

I hate being stuck, I just really want to get up

why wasn't I picked

why aren't I part of a bouquet for a pretty girl

was I not pretty enough?

did I not smell nice?

did I do anything wrong?

why am I not being taken care of?

why was I left behind?

or maybe I'm succumbing to death but as always the only thing on my mind

is the same question of why? why?
