“Strindberg in Love”
So here’s something I found while rummaging through my computer – an exercise in storyboarding, starring our beloved hero, August Strindberg, once again mixed up in the delicate matters of the heart.
Made for animation school, sometime in early 2014.
Saturnist Adventures – an animated short film on the subject of depression and identity.
The production process for this film was deliberately very different from my earlier works. I wanted to tell a fragmented and dreamlike story, so most scenes were made with little to no planning and then stitched together as best I could. No script, no storyboard, just a very clear idea about the themes/mood I was aiming for.
This wasn’t an easy film to make. While I’m still not sure how I feel about the final result, I’m ultimately glad for the experience.

Hi! Im Sow! I’m 20, and I use he/they pronouns. I’m a transmasc aroaspec fella. I’m autistic and chronically ill, and I like to draw!
I mainly focus on OC content, but I also will be dabbling in fanart here and there! I animate, and I’m planning on going to university for storyboarding and animation! Most of the OCs I post are from my webcomic, but a lot of the time they’ll be AUs of the OCs. I’m not new to tumblr but I’m migrating to it full-time because of Instagram/Meta’s recent AI debacle. As a human artist I refuse to stay on that platform, especially since the opt out method is really difficult to work through.
I have other socials but yeah, im hoping to make tumblr my main platform.

Ignited Jax Jumpscare
Finally finished animating this short and now it’s time for post production stuff. Here’s a bit of it until then. I need to find something better than JellyCam, this whole 320x240 thing is killing me.
What did you see, Big Dumb Bird?
Does anybody know any stopmotion/animation program to use that’s better than Jellycam? I’ve been trying a lot of different things but they’re all not compatible with my webcam?
After finally fixing my setup, I have a decent camera again. Too bad I had forgotten how to actually animate this big, dumb bird by time I came back to it. It’s joints were pretty sticky from being in the garage for a couple of months.
