I Can’t Recognize Myself (Swipe for different versions + timelapse) . . So I had this idea for a long while. You know those self insert/OC reincarnation Naruto fanfics that were popular in the early 2000s? I was thinking about how, well 1. There were little to no black Naruto ocs 2. No reincarnation Naruto fic with black characters And 3. No reincarnation fics that go in depth to the mental and emotional damage and consequences that would have on you. Especially if you change skin colors and cultures. So I made up a little fic in my head that involves these two girls. Don’t know their names yet, but I think the Uchiha girl is gonna be called Saradi. Or smth similar. It’s not quite reincarnation, more like a soul switch. I wanted to highlight the mental confusion, despair, pain and terror that these girls would feel. The fear and confusion that would erupt whenever they looked in a mirror and couldn’t recognize who they are. Who they were. Lost in another’s body, with another’s name, in another’s world. . . Lord Ryuukotsusei of the East. . . Here he is! The man I’ve been thirsting over for the past two weeks. For those of you Inuyasha fans confused, I’ll explain. Yes, this is the same dragon demon that Inu Taisho fought against. For starters, I absolutely hated the way he was dealt with story wise. This was the guy who was able to go toe to toe with the Great Dog Demon General! And he’s just reduced to a one episode enemy? Hell no! Absolutely not! We fixing that shit. Secondly, while his design in the anime is...decent, his design in the manga is GOD AWFUL! It’s so bad and....cute. It looks like a Disney dragon. Yes, that bad. So yeah, expect a redesign of his dragon form soon. Thirdly, Why a human form? Because he needs it for my story, and I assume all Daiyoukais (which he is classified to be) can shapeshift into humanoid forms. Why he is dark skin? Because I said so. Anyways, I hope everyone likes him, I do so very much. The first half of the speedpaint is when I tried to draw him back in early 2019. It was during this month that I redesigned him. So I've finally decided to post my Naruko/Fem!Naruto fanart here on tumblr, and well let's be honest I'm just happy that folks are still posting and making fanart for our knuckle-headed ninja gal! This is supposed to be a type of prototype/concept piece for a Naruto AU that I want to expand on. It takes a lot of elements from former AUs that I came up with that will probably most likely be defunct. I kind of want to dip my hands into drawing some new ideas of this AU concept traditionally but we'll have to wait and see since school still takes priority as of the moment.
