I'm starting to really love this black paper sketchbook. Had a test of white lineart and very little colouring.. would have coloured the face but didn't have a good skin tone. I had found these really cute bases on Pinterest and after discussing it with @rogue0ni we found that they match a certain 3 characters from My Hero Academia. Au idea

Yamada is a young but middle age trans who is deaf, he signs most of the time, but talking to customers at his very own coffee shop, he has to talk a little loud. He has hired young Deku, young Totoroki, young Bakugo, and young Kirishima. He opened this shop with a best friend, Toshinori Yagi, who he calls A.M. Yamada can’t be a cashier, but he can serve people and if they complain, he comes right out all proud because he mainly wins with his big voice.

After a few weeks of opening, he noticed people were looking outside, so he looked outside too. He saw a biker, in a sports bike, and a helmet that covered his face, until he took it off. Yamada couldn’t see his face because he turned away, thinking about how people are probably talking about his business, and the person comes in. Wrapped in a heavy scarf, a leather jacket with cool designs, black pants, and bike boots, the person come up and ordered, before seating. Yamada paid him no mind, thinking he was just another pedestrian wanting to excit his morning, and once getting the black coffee for him, and the information for who it’s for, he walks over and sets it down with the normal items, sugar, sweetener, and creamer, along with a plastic spoon. He looked up at the man and smiled his(what he though) gorgeous smile, and the man thanked him gently, before smiling a bit back. Yamada knew always how to make people smile.

After that morning, the biker came every day after that, and little by little did the man take in yamada, and how he worked. After one morning of yamada complaining about his hearing aid going out and not being able to stay much longer, the man came back just as normal, but when yamada set down his coffee and the sweets and spoon down, he signed to him, a gentle thank you with a smile. That, ladies and gentlemen, made Yamada’s day. There wasn’t much people around who knew sign language, the people who knew were people who learned it in school a long long time ago, and could only remember a little bit. After that morning, yamada looked forward to seeing that man ever since.

Fast forwards to a few months and yamada’s friend, Yagi, had learned the man of the man for him. Actually, he didn’t learn shit because he knew the man, was actually friends with him. Yamada asked a lot of questions about the man, and felt nervous and shy when Yagi said he talked about him too. All this time, the man—known as Shota—had learned more sign language, he was slow and had asked yamada to slow down a few times, but he talked with him every time he got the chance. After four months that went by, customers grew stronger, and yamada told Shota that he was able to move into his own apartment now, that he could afford one! Previously he was living with Yagi, and Shota smiled, and signed something slowly. Almost nervously, he told him:

Yamada is nervous and flustered when asked, before agreeing softly and smiled at him, then Shota sighed how beautiful his smile was. Yamada beamed after that, not being able to wait, he asked Shota for his number and changed the date from Saturday to Thursday, which Shota was okay with. When Thursday came around, Shota never showed up for the date, yamada texted him, and texted him and texted him...but he never showed. Yamada was worried, and not mad, because the next morning he wasn’t there either. What happened? Was Shota alright? So, he went to Yagi, who processed to tell him that Shota got into an accident, an arm broken, his elbow shattered, and head injuries. Yamada was heart broken. After weeks of worry and anxiety, he finally got a text from Shota, who asked him for another date. Yamada couldn’t believe it, but he agreed. Yamada told him not to bring his bike, that he could get Yagi to drive them.

Yagi picked both of them up around 8, and on the way to pick Yamada up, Shota stepped out to knock on his door. Yamada opened it and couldn’t believe what he saw. An arm in a cast, and so was his elbow, but he still smiled when he saw him, still dressed up nice, still was there. Yamada softened up, and told Yagi to go home, they’d be spending the time at his apartment, and he invited Shota in.

What if

When All Might retired, not everyone is happy about it. When I say that, I mean civilians. UA is training students to work hard, yes, people have their guess, Deku is working hard, but with All Might gone, villains get more... handsy.

Villain attacks become an everyday thing, before becoming a two in on day type of deal, Heros all around Japan are working harder than ever to keep things down with them but soon they realize that the only thing that makes Villian attacks possible is that the civilians are working with them. Day by day, people are joining gangs, doing illegal type of things that could end up with prison time, because they lost their hope. Present mic running the radio station gets calls about how Hope is no more and that they should watch out, UA is threatened once or twice a week, parents are worrying, no body is having fun.

Then riots start, all over Japan people are throwing Molotov cocktails everywhere, breaking windshields of innocent people’s cars, beating up Heros... EraserHead doesn’t know about Mic joining a group of hero’s until later when he doesn’t meet up with him like he said he would. He called, and called until someone said that he was with a rescue group trying to help people out of the riots. Eraser was anxious, panicking, has he felt this before? A few times when Present Mic got really bad cases, but it’s been so long since those....

As he rushes into the riots and fights, people spray painting buildings and yelling, coloured smoke in the air, sirens of overrunned cop cars playing in the background, he looks for his Hizashi. When he does find him, he’s laying in the middle of the street, on his side, and curled up. His speaker was somewhere else and he looked beat up, the hand on his rib and the one holding the street gave a good idea that he was kicked as soon as he was down.

Not knowing what to do, he pulled Mic into an alleyway as quick as possible, and sat down, curling up and around mic as he held him. He could call the cops, but he knew if he did that, they’d get overrun too...all he could do was wait for it to pass over or wait for backup. His hands shook as he stroked at the messy gelled back hair of Present Mic, watching him with guilt and worry. He made sure that no one came down that alleyway, and when he was very sure that everything was passing on, he scooped up the tall man and made his way to the nearest hospital.

After that, riots only continued to happen, and soon the UA was deemed unsafe for now, causing everyone to go home and stay inside for safety. Hizashi was in recovery, and Aizawa was sure to stick to his side. He explained to Hizashi what happened, and what he was thinking. If this continued, or got even worse, he didn’t want to think about how he might lose Hizashi, and Hizashi felt the same..they had a long hard discussion about things.

After hearing about the third riot that took place in only a week, they settled their minds, and Hizashi went to work, the radio station as Aizawa packed. They decided they needed to get away, so they’d move temporarily, just to be safe. Hizashi ran his shows like normal, until the end, where he announced to the world he wasn’t going to work anymore, that the riots were enough to keep sick people entertained. He told the world that there was hope, and he was leaving it for the people that could fight back. After that, he met Aizawa outside waiting in the car, getting in and holding hands as they drove their way to the airport.

I’m starting to realize that my go to ship type is “visibly depressed” and “equally depressed but smiling because if they don’t they will shatter completely” and this probably says more about my mental state than I’m comfortable with.
