The Beyonder rant of sorts

Honestly I’m think what if The Beyonder was some sort of subspecies to The Watchers, sort of like a high rank legionnaires or something in case they don’t have enough time to gather information from planets beyond their reach. Also I feel really bad for The Beyonder for some reason, Lunella literally snapped at him, I get it, he’s kind of a sick at times and his wiki page literally says he’s a trickster. But Lunella feels bad for snapping at him, I think she genuinely wants to be friends with him since S2 EP1 since they had bonding time..ngl he pulls off braids really well.

I was thinking about Sock Opera recently, and I never really thought of it, but what exactly was Bill's plan there? (Except torture a child, obviously)

I mean, he says he's going to destroy Dipper's journal, but isn't that extremely counterproductive? The journals are what explains how the portal works after all. I can get why he doesn't want Dipper specifically to have it, but wouldn't destroying it be like yeeting the keys to your front door into the ocean? Would he really do that just to spite a thirteen year old?

Like imagine if he'd actually succeeded and then it's just... 'Huh. I did not think this through.'

One of my ships is Lyney x Diluc. There is absolutely no reason for them to be together, but I had a gigantic thought.

At first, for some reason, I didn’t think Diluc had gone on a killing spree against the Fatui. I thought he has joined the Fatui, before changing his mind, probably after learning some big evil secret thingy, and deciding to kill them all.

BIG misunderstanding on my end. I know better now.

But, anyway, following this, I thought « What if Diluc had worked for the Fatui in Fontaine? »

This way, he would have met a teenage Lyney, who, filled with your normal teenage hormones, would have fallen head over heals for that hunk of a man (young adult early twenties man mind you).

Lyney being himself, he would have tried his shot, but Diluc would have shut him down so fast, saying things like « I don’t play around with kids. »

So that was that…

Then, Diluc finds out about the big evil secret thingy, decides to kill all the Fatui, somehow ends up in Snezhnaya, gets exiled from Snezhnaya, probably hunted down, goes back to Mondstadt, yada yada.

Cut to years later (not like… decades, but still at least 7-8 years), Lyney, Lynette and Freminet get tired of being dolls to Father. They decide to book it out of Fontaine as soon as possible before something bad happens.

Now, I have multiple ideas of how and why that happens. Maybe Lyney gets proposed to take over Father and he doesn’t want to. Maybe one of them gets badly injured on a mission and they realise they’re not ready to die for the Fatui’s cause. Maybe another orphan they’re really close with (an Oc) decides to book it and they follow them.

In any case. Gone

And they end up in Mondstadt.

Again, I have multiple ideas. Maybe they get ambushed by some hilichurls or bandits or whatever. Maybe they get caught in a bad storm. Maybe Barbatos watches over them the way he watches over his people and he decides to guide them. But whatever happens, they end up at Dawn Winery.

Yada yada, shits happen, Diluc and Lyney get together.

The end

That’s basically how this ship came to be and I’m legit sad that there isn’t any art or fics about them because I would consume the shit out of it.

I might have seen this said before, on a different post, but I couldn't find it, so I'm just gonna say a few words on this, partially because of that and partially because it's been ages since I've last read the series, despite it being ingrained into my head.

Almost all of the characters in TUC have moments where they are genuine assholes. Gregor has a few points where he says some genuinely disrespectful shit. Luxa, as well as most of the other humans (including Gregor, although arguably to a lesser extent), are deeply prejudiced against the gnawers. Ripred, is, well, Ripred (look, I love him, we all do, but he's a dick).

Even Vikus, arguably one of the nicest characters in the series, admires Sandwich (I think, been a while), a man who literally used poison to commit genocide in the name of stealing land that didn't belong to him.

The only characters I can think of in TUC that don't have flaws are the ones who also have the least lines: Aurora, Dulcet, Miravet. Oh, and all of those characters? Probably also prejudiced against gnawers, just never explicitly stated (to my knowledge), probably due to their obscene lack of lines. Of course there are characters like Lizzie and Hazard, who are literal fucking children so as nice as they are, I think it's safe to say they can't really be counted up here. (Should probably also mention that Gregor and Luxa are also children, just ones that were forced to grow up faster, sadly).

Then again, all of these characters have redeeming qualities. Gregor can be disrespectful at times, but that's mainly because of the stress placed upon him by the various bullshit situations he has to go through, and he usually apologizes after. Luxa and all the humans are deeply prejudiced (actually, I should probably add the fliers might be in that category too), but they are basically raised from birth to hate and kill gnawers, and vice versa. plus, it's shown that despite what is practically being brainwashed from birth, they can grow and change to overcome their own bigotry and accept gnawers as genuine people, as well as friends.

And yes, Ripred, the glorious bastard himself, is a dick. But he's also a war veteran who's lost his family, and most of the respect from his people, meaning he mainly works with humans, who tend to treat him with suspicion, if not outright hostility (until they get to know him). And he makes up for it by letting his guard down at times to be a father to the traumatized pups that dragged him into their pack.

Point is, flawed characters are one of the things that make TUC so great. They're not few and hid away either, they're everywhere, with visible flaws. If you want to make a good character, TUC is a great series to use as an example. Everything casts a shadow, just like every character has a flaw. If they don't, you probably just can't see them from your angle. And if they don't? Like, at all? Give them some, just make sure the shadow they cast matches up with the object itself.

Ok so I researched the twilight movies and noticed something that got me messed up.

In one movie, Bella punched Paul in the face out of anger, not only did she make in impact because he moved like someone who got hit.

Then a movie later or something, Jacob kisses her without consent, and she punches him. But....

She breaks her fucking hand. I don't get t, because she didn't break her hand when she hit Paul, and Paul had phased already too. Is it because Jake's a descendant of an alpha or because he's a main character? Like how the heck.

Hi, so I'm fully aware that I don't post much in this blog often and might post a random post when I ever want to, however... With my favorite x Yanqing ships being either Yanqing x misha or Yanqing × Yunli and that fact I am a multi shipper myself... Alright, here me out, this might sound off... But what about Yanqing × Misha × Yunli?... Don't ask me why I come up with this ship idea, I just love those two ships so much that I decided, "Hey, why not put them in a three people relationship?" I just can't help but imagine Misha trying to stop his B̶o̶y̶f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶ a̶n̶d̶ G̶i̶r̶l̶f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶ I mean- friends from bickering and buying them either ice cream or some skewers to both calm them down. He is really such a good boy "friend" material there, let me tell you🥰🤩 Or imagine Yanqing overthinking about his sexuality or stuff like that and His D̶a̶d̶ I mean- General helping him figuring it out, giving him good advice or just willing to accept whoever Yanqing loves. I feel like Jingyuan would allow a threesome wedding for His son and his future H̶u̶s̶b̶a̶n̶d̶ a̶n̶d̶ W̶i̶f̶e̶ when they grow up to be adults. And I was also thinking of making an AU where Misha was instead a Xianzhou native to make this ship into reality, if I ever have the motivation or full understatement of the characters themselves that is. (Didn't actually finished most part of the Penacony Chapter and didn't start the new Xianzhou arc. Will probably do it soon. If my builds for my characters are good enough to beat the enemies and bosses in the game that is😭).

So any thoughts on the idea? It's ok if you don't want to ship it. It's your choice after all whether to like it or not. I fully respect that.
