[8:11pm] warmth surrounded the couple sleeping, the tv played on as both rested under the blanket ignoring the harsh wind outside.
hand in hand, they smiled and moved closer to one another.
[07:51] you groan grogginess clouding over you, a pout displayed on your face as your mum decided to wake you up.
“Come on now silly wake up,” whispered your idol! older sibling who just came back from tour.
With widen eyes you jump straight on to them, feeling a few tears escape you.
“Your back! Your finally here.”
[13:45] you shriek as you were thrown into the pool by someone, the cool water doing miracles against the heat, swimming up you look to see them grinning like an idiot.
“oh I’m so getting you back.”
[14:30] on the way to the practice room your head was spinning with different thoughts, the words spoken about you made your eyes watery.
‘look at her! what a demon’
‘god, does she think that using contacts will make her cool? what a weirdo’
‘her eyes are so unnatural. she must be the devils child.’
you were born with an unusual eye colour. purple, obviously no one has unusual eye colours except you, sniffling you enter the room.
“god, why can’t I be normal! Why can’t I fit in! Why can’t I just be like everyone else,” you spoke to yourself with your teeth grinding against each other, in seconds you were a sobbing mess and scratching at your face.
“hey hey,” a hand holds yours in place, it was one the senior groups!. them being your seniors you felt humiliated, quickly getting up on shaky legs you bow down, excusing yourself and apologising and as you went to leave the same hand grabs your arm.
“hey, why don’t we talk for a bit huh? it’s not good bottling up emotions.”
you stilled staring at them in disbelief before slowly nodding and, sat down beside them where you talked and talked.
[17:26] it was stealing little glances, pink hues and smiles, it was the dumb jokes with the lingering touches.
it was the little heart flutters that brought an unknown warmth with it, the teasing and height comparison.
maybe it’ll soon be the tickling cold, red cheeks and Christmas lights. it may be a dream but not an unpleasant one
not with how you both looked at each other.
