Hi, This is a Little Astrid-Story during the end of Shell shocked Part two. Warning: some Kind of sexuel violence

Its a look into Astrids Mindset After Viggos „Death“. And maybe a Little Explaintion Why she got captured from him. And I think Astrid hides many of her emotional side behind her anger. Hope you like the Story! Its my first Httyd-Fanfiction I‘ve ever write.

P.S. The Post underneath the Story inspire Me to this.

Lost in thought, Astrid Hofferson's gaze wandered into the distance, to the turbulent sea, whose surface was making waves. A strong wind whistled through her blonde hair and some strands came loose from her wild braid. It had only been 24 hours since Hiccup had saved her from Viggo, but the shock was still deep in her bones. She still felt his great grip under her ribcage, her own ax at her throat. Stormfly's fear filled squeak, fearing for her rider. As she had done so many times, she had tried not to show any mercy or fear when she faced Viggo. She had rushed at him as soon as she saw him, threatening him with her battle axe, but with one powerful blow he had knocked her to the ground. Without even using any axes. Immediately she was back on her feet, dependent on Stormfly to shoot spikes and fire at Viggo, But he skillfully avoided them. Viggo had only laughed at her mildly. “You and your Nadder make an extraordinarily good team.” She gripped her ax tightly so that her knuckles turned white. “I knew you shouldn’t be trusted. I should have cut your throat straight away.” He moved towards her with slow steps, his gait dangerous and graceful at the same time. Like a whispering death that just waits for its prey beneath the surface before grabbing and tearing it apart. The blood rushed through her ears, she heard Stormfly's battle-ready sound of her spikes, which she had set up to send them through Viggo's body at any time. Astrid sucked in a hissing breath and didn't take her eyes off the head of the dragon hunter. She rushed at him, but once again he blocked her attack, ripped the ax from her hand and threw her to the ground. Astrid wanted to get up, her ribs throbbed in pain, she doubled over, twisted inside. As she was about to get up again, she pulled Viggo by the foot towards a cliff. “A Hofferson is probably not as invincible as they say, my love.” Astrid screamed for Stormfly, she could gag at those words. My love. She was no one's love. “I am not your love, you monster,” she hissed spitefully. Stormfly’s spikes flashed overhead, followed by a desperate burst of fire. Viggo grinned. "Don't act like that, heartless little Astrid." She wanted to hit him with her hands, to choke him. She wanted to see the life drain from his eyes. With a jerk, she felt his torso trap her legs so that she could no longer move them. She bit at him, but by then he had already pressed her hands against her chest. “I don't really think much of violence, but apparently that's the only way to defeat you.” His eyes were very close to hers, she swallowed hard, squirmed, but she couldn't get out of his grip. He was so close, too close. Like Eric, only he had torn her skirts, pushed her against a wall and forced a kiss on her. She hadn't been able to defend herself back then either; she was alone, alone in the darkness. These thoughts made her gasp for breath, she was back in that dark, musty alley with Eric, his calloused hands moving up her breasts, she wanted to scream but her voice was lost to her. His hands went under her shirt, into her pants, to her most sensitive spot. She clenched her hands into fists, holding back tears like she had so many times in her life. Even as a very little girl, she had never allowed herself to cry. She was a warrior, a fighter and she had to live up to that ideal. Whatever the cost.

With a flash of lightning she was back in reality, Viggo above her had disappeared, she heard a quiet humming in front of her, she jumped up, Stormfly lay at her feet, Viggo's sword across her throat. “No-Stormfly!” A triumphant grin crossed Viggo’s face. “Love is beautiful and passionate at the same time, but it also makes you fragile. And she just makes you, my little girl, weak.” “Don’t hurt her,” said Astrid in a trembling voice. "Otherwise, I'll kill you myself." He laughed bitterly. “Oh, I would like to believe that, Astrid. But if you even try to touch me, I'll cut your nadder's head off if you don't do what I tell you. Got it?” Defeated, she nodded. She had known that she would have had no chance and yet the memories always lingered in her like an echo that would not fade away.

Stormfly and Toothless frolicked happily in the lower room of Hiccup's hut, a slight smile crept across Astrid's face when she saw her Nadder lady playing so happily with her best friend, the Night Fury. Luckily everything went well. She would never have been able to forgive herself if something bad had happened to Stormfly. Never. Stormfly was the only one Astrid could open up to, she always listened to her without judging her and always stood by her one hundred percent. Stormfly was also the only one who knew about the night with Eric; She couldn't even tell Hiccup or her two best friends Heather and Ruffnut about this shame, or about Viggo's attack. Had he sensed that she was afraid of closer physical contact that would allow her to emotionally undress? Hiccup sat down next to her and looked at her worriedly. Even though they had only been together for about four days, everything still felt so new and exciting to them. Although she had wanted the chief's son for years and he meant everything to her, she feared the many challenges they would still have to face that could even divide them. Forever. She gently felt Hiccup's hand rubbing her back. This move felt so right and perfect, almost too good to be true. He was the only one who silently understood her. She was so glad that she had him and not a macho Viking like Snotlout, although at least he would never be invasive because even if he sometimes didn't show it, he tried to understand women and their needs. Completely different was Eric, that hypocritical bastard of a cream puff who only wanted one thing: a little mistress he could lay whenever he wanted. The only nice thing about him was his blue and silver Monstrous Nightmare, Silverstorm. Who had always met Astrid on an equal footing at the academy and had always gotten along well with Stormfly. A strand of her hair fell into her face, Hiccup lovingly brushed it out of her face, she only flinched ever so slightly. "Is everything okay with you? You seem so...absent?" She shook her head. "No, it's not." Hiccup stood up and pulled her up to him, smiling genuinely and lovingly. Smiling, she followed him into his bed, that they would share each other for the first time tonight. Everything was different with him. “Do you want to tell me what’s bothering you?” She shook her head. "I can not yet. But I hope I can soon, if I ever get the chance.” He took her chin in his hand so she could look into his forest green eyes. “You know, I have an idea. How about we write each other letters in which we express our feelings for each other. Maybe then it will be easier for you to tell me what's going on with you sometimes." Now Astrid threw her arms around his neck and gave him a deep kiss on the mouth, so that Hiccup was completely amazed at her sudden excitement. "Yes understood."

Pregnancy Trouble - Part 2

Her two children stood frozen in the doorway, their eyes darting around the room in alarm. “Mom, where is Dad? What’s going on?” Astrid sighed heavily and waved her children over. Zephyr took her little brother by the hand and walked with him towards their mother. A gentle smile crossed Astrid's face as she looked into her daughter's sapphire blue eyes, identical to hers but with concern reflected in them. Nuffink, her little Nuffink, hugged his sister close as he looked at his mother. “Come here,” she said, patting the blank page. Her children hopped onto the mattress next to her and each snuggled up on one side of her. She stroked both of their heads and watched reverently as they stroked her stomach with their small hands. For a moment she forgot that she was in pain, but that moment didn't last long as an unspeakably razor-sharp pain shot through her abdomen again. She gritted her teeth to suppress another pained moan. Her children weren't allowed to see how much she was suffering; she definitely didn't want to drag them along with her. Both of them were so sensitive and too small to understand what was happening to her. She didn't want to scare them. "Everything is good. Your father just went quickly to get your grandmother because I need her help for a moment.” Zephyr and Nuffink nodded. “Is there anything we can do to help you, Mom?” Zephyr asked. Astrid smiled and stroked her daughter's soft cheek. "You two, my darling, can only help me by staying here with me and just cuddling with me for a bit until your father comes back." The two nodded and cuddled even closer. Then she suddenly heard Nuffink's sniffling. "What's wrong, baby?" He rubbed his green eyes, which were sparkling with small tears. “Mommy, I’m scared for you.” She kissed his temple lovingly. “You don’t have to worry about me, Finky. I am a warrior and besides, your father is by my side and he is the bravest and most selfless man I know, he will take care of me. Everything will be okay again.” I hope, she thought. I really hope so. “Was dad always so brave?” Zephyr asked curiously. “Yes he was,” she said reverently. “When I'm fit again, I'll tell you some stories about his heroic deeds, I promise.” Zephyr and Nuffink smiled enthusiastically. With every minute that passed, Astrid felt her pain steadily increasing. Hopefully the baby was okay? She could never forgive herself if something happened to her unborn child in her womb. Astrid didn't know how much longer she could hide her grief. Hopefully Hiccup comes back soon. Then...all of a sudden she heard the front door slam open with a loud crash. Hurried footsteps sounded on the stairs and just a few moments later Hiccup appeared in the doorway with Astrid's parents. "Zephyr? Nuffink? Why are you still awake?" she heard Hiccup's voice hurrying towards her. But before either of the two children could reply, Astrid intervened. "Hiccup, darling, they were just supporting me while you were away." She gently took one of his shaking hands and squeezed it tightly. He sighed heavily, his hand slowly stopping shaking as he took the tired Nuffink in his arms and held out his hand to his daughter. "Good. Then I'll put you two night owls back to bed. “Thank you for being there for your mother while I was away,” Astrid heard him whisper. Then her father suddenly came to the edge of the bed and put a hand on his son-in-law's shoulder. “Just leave it, Hiccup. I’ll put them both to bed, you stay with Astrid,” he said gently. Hiccup handed his son to Magnus and stroked his hair lovingly as always. "Sleep well, you two." Zephyr and Nuffink gave their parents a quick wave before they went out the door with their grandfather. Hiccup knelt in front of Astrid, placed both of his hands on her stomach and leaned his forehead against hers. “How do you feel?” She moaned in pain. "Not better. On the contrary, it got worse.”

Pregnancy Troubles - Part 3

Astrid felt her mother wiping the sweat from her forehead. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw that she had her medicine bag strapped to her waist, which contained all her medicinal herbs, ointments and potions. “Don’t worry, it’ll be okay. I'll make you a warm cherry stone pillow first, then it should get better again." Astrid nodded weakly. “There hasn't been any blood yet?” Astrid shook her head in a daze, she felt so weak, so helpless. Her glowing fingers tried to cling to her husband's shoulders, who of course immediately wrapped her in his arms to give her support. His cold hands ran over her back, she heard his soothing voice in her ear, keeping her from drifting into the darkness. It seemed like an eternity when her mother finally was finished with the cherry stone pillow. She handed it to Hiccup, who gently pressed it against her abdomen. With glowing fingertips, Astrid felt for the pillow and his hand. She felt him warm beneath her skin, looked into his worried eyes, and watched the way he gently stroked her bare thighs. Her plush calmed down with each additional breath and the darkness was just a distant echo in her mind. She sighed with relief when, after half an hour, the dizziness cleared from her field and her vision. She saw Hiccup's loving smile in front of her, his warm hand caressing her cheek. “And how are you feeling now?” “Much better,” Astrid smiled. Before she could say anything else, Hiccup wrapped her tightly in his arms and buried his face in her shoulder. She kept hearing him whispering how worried he had been the whole time, how much he loved her and that he would do anything for her, no matter the cost. Astrid's mother placed a hand on her daughter's shoulder. “The pain may come back a few times, but just take a warm bath or go to the sauna, that often helps too. The pain will probably subside completely after a few days and don't worry, the baby is probably fine, it's probably just growing a little." "Thank you, mother," Astrid smiled. Ingrid and Magnus said goodbye in front of the two of them before they went back home. Hiccup had sat down on the bed next to his wife, smiling and still stroking her thigh and she watched as his eyes wandered to the curve of her stomach. “You know, I've been thinking. I'll stay at home with you for a few more days until you're feeling well again." "Hiccup, that's sweet of you. But you don’t have to, I can do it myself.” He raised a mischievous eyebrow. "When do you think this speech ever helped when you were pregnant?" Astrid leaned against his chest. “It was again. Well, my beloved husband, then I'll be happy if you accompany me to the sauna and the bath." "It would be an honor, M'Lady," said Hiccup and kissed Astrid's cheek while his hand ran over her stomach. Astrid smiled to herself, Hiccup had always been overprotective when she was pregnant, even though it sometimes got on her nerves, she loved the way he looked after her and cared for her. Even a warrior needs help sometimes. It's never wrong to ask someone for help if you can't handle something on your own. There Will always be a Hiccup and Astrid. Always. Yes, Astrid thought with a smile and fell asleep on his shoulder with one last thought. They were always stronger together.

A new Life & the Beat of Young Hearts - Part 1 (Epilouge to the Pregnancy Troubles Chapters)

The sun was setting over the mountain peaks of New Berk, casting everything in a rich golden light. Astrid was now eight months pregnant and already quite tired from the long months of carrying her third child. With a good book that Hiccup had given her for her thirty-first birthday. It was a beautiful book in a beautiful leather strap with the Deadly Nadder's mark on the cover and filled with everything that reminded Astrid of her wild teenage years on Dragon's Edge up to the time when Zephyr was born. She traced over a heart of cobbled-together onyx and sapphire scales of Stormfly and Toothless that framed a drawing of her engagement necklace and above it was a small note:

Entry 23

Today is the day I can finally give Astrid her engagement gift, I hope she likes it. It's hard to believe that I asked for her to marry me two weeks ago and she actually said YES.

She smiled to herself and thought back to the many adventures she had spent out there with the love of her life and their mutual friends. She felt the baby moving in her stomach. She gently stroked her round belly and felt the little human inside her stirring. “Well, what do you say, my darling, are you as hungry as I am?” She felt a gentle kick against the skin of her stomach and she smiled. “I’ll take that as a yes.” She clumsily pushed herself up from the sofa and walked towards the kitchen. “Let’s see if we can help your daddy prepare dinner for your two siblings.” Astrid leaned against the doorframe and watched as her husband served the soup and then took care of cutting four slices of bread. Zephyr and Nuffink sat at the table, which was already set, and painted small dragon figures that they tried out for the badge from the Book of Dragons. Astrid put an arm around Hiccup's shoulders, she immediately saw a smile on his lips as she snuggled up to him. “Can I help you with something?” He stroked her back. “I have everything under control.” Astrid gave him a kiss on the cheek and tickled his beard, making him giggle while she nuzzled him a bit. “It needs some trimming again.” Hiccup smiled. “The few centimeters. But if you really want to? As long as you don't cut it off completely." "Don't worry, you look really sexy with that beard. I just don't want it to look like a possum died on your face." Hiccup could only grin at that. Hiccup took the soup spoon and stirred the freshly seasoned vegetable soup, giving his wife a conspiratorial sideways glance. Astrid walked over to the table and picked up the soup bowls so Hiccup could fill them with the freshly made soup. As she put the soup down, she stroked Hiccup's soft fabric of his tunic and listened to the beating of his strong heart beneath her fingers. Their eyes collided. "I hope everything will be okay," Hiccup whispered to her, his hand resting on her stomach. Astrid sighed: “I hope so too. I'm so tired already." "I know you're tired, Honey. Just hold on for another week, then the baby should come according to your mother." Astrid nodded and she and Hiccup sat down on the table where their children were already waiting impatiently so that they could finally eat. After dinner, the family decided to sit outside for a while every evening and enjoy the beauty of the warm summer night. But thousands of stars glittered above them in the deep black of the night like glistening salt crystals in mines. Zephyr jumped up and down excitedly as a shooting star flashed through the night. “Look Nuff, now we can make a wish for a shooting star!” “Oh, I wish for a shield for the next Snoggeltog,” gasped the little boy. “And what do you want?” Astrid asked curiously and nudged her husband on his biceps. "I'm not allowed to say birthday wish rule." Astrid rolled her eyes with a smile and leaned back. “How long have we been married now? And you don't tell your wife, who you've lusted after since we were little children, what you want." Hiccup laughed and stroked her thigh. “You know I’ll tell you everything. But...if I say it out loud, it usually doesn't come true." "Sure," Astrid said, watching carefully as Hiccup proudly smoothed his beard and looked at her with that conspiratorial look again. “But what if I want my beautiful wife to dance with me now?” He was immediately on his feet and held out his hand to her, of course Astrid couldn’t say no and let him pull her into his arms . "Hiccup, I'm not sure if dancing is right, I feel like a whale." He leaned closer to her, hugging her waist protectively. "And whales can sing beautifully." "Hiccup, darling, I can't sing," she corrected him with raised eyebrows. “Then you’re much more like a killer whale. Strong, intelligent, social and an unpredictable warrior of the ocean." Astrid laughed: "Fishlegs' new hobby of finding out everything about sea mammals must have rubbed off on you a bit." Hiccup sighed. "I'm just glad Snotlout has to listen to most of it now that they're married."

A new Life & the beat of Young Hearts - Part 2

With a skillful flick of his wrist, he turned her and then brought her back into his arms. “Come here, you.” Astrid enjoyed it when his lips lay on hers, his arms wrapped around her and her body pressed against his as much as she could with her huge belly. Her arms wrapped around his neck so he only deepened the kiss. But at that moment she felt something cold running down her leg. Astrid was shocked and her eyes widened. The baby is coming! Now! “Hiccup, the baby is coming!” Suddenly he pulled away from her again. “What did you say?” “My water broke and the baby is coming! Now!" Hiccup winces and whirls around to face his children. “Zephyr, Nuffink! Get your grandparents, quickly! Your little sibling is coming!” The two of them immediately ran towards the village. Hiccup put his arms around Astrid, who was already squinting in pain. He slammed the door to their house, with his arms wrapped tightly around her, he led her into their shared bedroom. “Take it easy, Astrid. Everything will be okay,” he gasped, full of excitement and fear at the same time. “Hiccup, calm down first, you're making me very nervous,” Astrid hissed, who had already started to go into labor. She writhed in pain in his arms as he put her on the bed and helped her undress to make the birth easier. Astrid pressed herself tightly into the pillows as another contraction hit her, her pulse racing. The blood rushing through her veins like a raging mountain river as she took Hiccup's hand and looked deep into his unfathomable jade eyes as he dabbed the sweat from her forehead. She could hear him whispering, feel his calloused hand slide over her shoulder. Then suddenly the door to the bedroom opened and Astrid's mother stormed into the room with wet towels. She immediately started preparing everything before she went to Astrid and told her: "You know what to do?" Astrid nodded and she started to push.

12 hours later: "That's it, Astrid just a little bit more and you've done it," Astrid heard her mother's voice through the roaring pain that went through her and spread to her bones. Hiccup's gentle massage on her shoulders was just an echo in the distance. Her bones protested one last time, then she listened in relief as she heard the sound of a baby crying. She wanted to sit up, to catch a glimpse of her little one, who was now lying in her mother's arms to be washed, but her joints gave way and she slid back onto Hiccup's shoulder. But Astrid didn't have to wait long when her mother returned to her with a small bundle in her arms and placed it on her chest. Ingrid smiled lovingly at her daughter and son-in-law. "Congratulations on your healthy baby girl." Astrid squeezed her mother's hand, tears of joy streaming down her cheeks. "Thank you, mother, for everything." "Yes, thank you Ingrid," Hiccup smiled, even though Astrid could see that he was having a hard time concentrating on his mother-in-law, as his eyes kept wandering to her newborn child. Ingrid said goodbye with a smile before going into the next room where her husband and grandchildren were waiting impatiently. Astrid smiled down at the little girl who was now snuggled up against her chest and looking at her and Hiccup with big blue-green eyes. Hiccup gave his wife a kiss on the temple. "I am so proud of you. So proud.” The baby winked a little as Astrid brought it to her bare breast and suckled with pleasure on her left nipple while Hiccup stroked her golden-brown head. “She still needs a name,” he mused. “What do you think of…Gertrude?” Astrid raised an eyebrow in disbelief. "Was that Tuffnut's idea?" Hiccup grinned. "Yes, he begged for the rest of the days that I would suggest that name to you when the baby was here." "And of course you gave in." Hiccup rolled his eyes, laughing. “Yes, I can hardly refuse my groomsmen anything.” “It was clear,” she laughed and leaned against his chest again. “No, I think I have a better idea. How do you like the name Linka? It means fairy or huntress and our little one somehow reminds me of an fairy, as sweet and delicate as she is." "That's actually a very nice name," Hiccup agreed. “And she really does look a little like a little fairy.”He gently stroked little Feyre's soft cheek. “Welcome to New Berk.”

After an hour of waiting, Zephyr and Nuffink finally got to meet their little sister and they were thrilled and kept asking their mother if they could hold her. Astrid quickly gave in to her children's begging and let her little sister hold her once. “Hello, Linka. I'm your big sister Zephyr and this is your big brother Nuffink." "Hello," gasped Nuffink and let the little fabric figures of Toothless and Stormfly dance with his hands above her little head. "And these are Stormfly and Toothless, they are dragons and live in a Hidden world far out in the ocean." The baby chuckled as the Stormfly stuffed animal shot past her, her little eyes widening. Astrid looked into Hiccup's eyes as he held her close as they watched their three children play. She smiled. “And has your wish now come true?” “Yes,” he said gently and pulled his wife into a deep kiss that led her heart explode in a firework of Love.

Bonus Story to the Epilouge. Hope you enjoy it, Guys☺️🫶🏻

A carpet of hundreds of stars sprinkled the onyx-colored night sky over New Berk in all its silvery beauty. The village had gradually become quiet except for the Haddocks' residence where there was an after party after an extensive party in the Great Hall with the family introducing their youngest member to the people. To celebrate the evening, Astrid's father had made his famous tuna rolls with a bowl of salad, which he now served on the terrace of the house. “Who wants a roll?” he asked his son-in-law, who was sitting opposite his friends Snotlout, Fishlegs and Tuffnut. Hiccup smiled kindly at his tall father-in-law and took a roll from the tray. “Say, how do you pronounce your little one’s name again?” Snotlout asked with a raised eyebrow as he grabbed three rolls from Magnus’ tray. „Linka," Hiccup repeated for the hundred thousandth time tonight. Tuffnut grinned amusedly over at Fishlegs as he petted his chicken. “Speaking of Links, dear Mr. Ingermann still owes me ten galleons.” Fishlegs rolled his eyes in annoyance and handed Tuff the money, which he immediately counted happily. “You bet what name our baby will have?” Astrid, who was sitting next to Hiccup with her little daughter in her arms, interrupted. Ruffnut, who was playing with the fingers of her most beloved Throk, who was in the middle of a conversation with Mala and Dagur, shrugged her shoulders with a large mug of beer in her hand. “We’ve been doing it since the first one.” Astrid and Hiccup looked at each other in shock, then they could only smile. Hiccup lovingly placed his hand on his wife's thigh, a smile playing on her lips as he touched the soft skin of her cheek with his delicate lips. Astrid placed her hand over Hiccup's and squeezed it tightly. The little baby in her arms reached out to reach out to her father. “Well little mouse, do you want to go to your daddy?” Little Linka chuckled as her mother passed her into her father's arms, who rocked her gently in his arms and gave her a little kiss on the forehead. Suddenly Zephyr and Nuffink, who had just been playing with Dagur and Mala's children, came running and ran into their parents' arms, while the two of them let the little toy dragon figures slide over their little sister again. “Here comes the Flightmare,” Nuffink announced. “Look Linka, how beautifully blue he is.” “And here comes the Hideous Zippelback, he has two heads, one spews gas and the other ignites it with sparks,” Zephyr explained to her little sister while she let the figure dance in the air. From the corner of their eyes, Hiccup and Astrid saw Ruff and Tuff exchanging cheeky but sad grins. "Long live Barf and Belch." Astrid leaned on Hiccup's shoulder, watching her children interact with each other and her numerous friends chatting with each other. She enjoyed the gentle caresses Hiccup gave her back as she watched the steady movements of the flames. Still, she had the feeling that something was missing, that someone specific was missing.

After an hour the afterparty was over. Hiccup and Astrid had put Zephyr and Nuffink to bed and had retreated to their room with little Linka. Little Feyre was nuzzling her mother's nipple when Hiccup came out of the bathroom next door, his hair wet and only a towel wrapped around his waist. He put on a pair of long, loose trousers before he went to Astrid, gave her a kiss on the forehead and then took her little daughter, who had fallen asleep on her mother's bosom. He gently stroked her back while holding her to his bare chest. Astrid, who was holding his hand, looked up at him and smiled. She watched as Hiccup rocked her little daughter back and forth in his arms, constantly kissing her on her head and on her cheeks, and whispering to her. Astrid got out of bed, everything felt so perfect, but still an unfathomable emptiness spread in her heart that she hadn't felt in several years. Lost in thought, she strolled around the room, looking up at the map of the barbaric archipelago. Her fingers glided over the small wooden figures that represented Stormfly and Toothless. Stormfly. Astrid's heart became heavy at the thought that her beloved dragon could not be with her on this special day. She missed the Nadder's friendly nature so much, her playfulness, the morning flights, training together... She opened the large window to the balcony, a warm breeze ran through her hair and stirred up some strands that fell onto her face. She only noticed in passing how Hiccup put Linka in her crib before putting on a shirt. Her gaze was focused solely on the endless starry sky. She jumped for a brief moment as Hiccup put his arm around her, holding her tightly to him. "You miss her, don't you?" Astrid nodded, tears soaking her vision as she finally let them flow. Hiccup gave her a kiss on the forehead. “I know how you feel, Honey, I miss Toothless terribly too. But don't worry, they'll be fine." Astrid nodded weakly, tried to blink away the tears, but they kept coming. "It is good. Let it all out,” Hiccup whispered to her. Astrid looked out to the sea, towards the hidden world that lay hidden far out in the endless expanse of the ocean. And she wondered if she missed Stormfly as much as she missed her. She couldn't have known that Stormfly, who was flying over a lake in the hidden world with her three children, but kept glancing towards the entrance, was wondering exactly the same thing. Even though it hurt both of their hearts, they knew that they were connected to each other forever. Even if they were separated by endless miles.
