I grew up with Avatar and its getting so much more popular now and it makes me really happy but really sad too.

Because a ton of more people are seeing how Azula's own mental illness was her last chance at redemption by making see her mom and hearing that she loves her. Azula rejected even that, she was so broken mind and soul.

Soooooo Azula and Mai with short hair anyone? (this is probably like one or two years after Sozin's comet, and they haven't really seen each other since the Boiling Rock, and they're both like "omg how did she get so pretty what do I say I cant do this-"

This question is really old and tiresome. Yes Azula should be redeemed. It fits with the themes of the show, and her arc seemed like it was heading in that direction when the show ended. Let Azula be redeemed. Let Azula be happy. Let Azula heal.
