I use CalmyWriter. It’s browser based (and 100% free) and very good for a minimalist, easy on the eyes and customization (dark mode, focus mode, mode for dyslexic, ect) I like it cause I get too distracted with any other writer, brain too scattered. Everything you write is saved by your browser cache, so it saves as you write, kinda like google docs, which you can sync it to your google drive too if you wanted to.
