Duskmantle was the guildhall of House Dimir on Ravnica during Szadek's reign. It was a hidden castle located in the Undercity whose location was only known to its residents. After Szadek's demise, both the location and way of gaining entry was lost.

Within the guildhall are the Dungeon Ballrooms, a party venue, and the Jester's Crypt, a dark tunnel where Rakdos takes cultists who displease him. The Crypt, which is shrouded by a supernatural mist of pure shadow, is also used when blood witches are created.

Founded by parun Mat'Selesnya, a female humanoid elemental formed via the fusion of dryads, the Selesnya Conclave is a decentralized collective variably described as a "selfless, nurturing, spiritual group" or a "brainwashing nature cult." It involves itself in the establishment and maintenance of peace, life, and unity in Ravnica. The territories held by the Selesnya are open and sunny, full of green spaces and gardens, with white stone buildings which are often open to the air. The towering world-tree of Vitu-Ghazi once served as the guild's Guildhall.

Despite their appearance of being "good" and "peace-loving", in truth the guild has a sinister streak. The Conclave used to employ its quietmen and other members to silence the civilians of Ravnica. The defenders of the Selesnya are the Ledev Guardians. Equenauts ride pegasuses, combining the role of mounted warriors and scouts. Sagittars are elven archers that defend key guild locations.

[Ravnica Battlemap]Precinct three - Selesnya Territory 32x56

Natural and urban life intermingle throughout the precinct, and the people who reside here view it as a respite from most other places in the Tenth District. Folk here tend to live simply, and generations of families have dwelt in the same structures for hundreds of years. During the day, the gardens, small pastures, and stables are tended by young and old. Evenings are given over to communal gatherings, sometimes featuring performances by trained beasts or storytelling.

[Ravnica Battlemap]The Great Concourse 32x56

A network of elevated roadways links many of the most important Selesnya communities near Vitu-Ghazi. The polished white stone of the roadways gleams in the sun, and the pathways are topped with lush trees, grasses, and flowers. On high holy days, its central hub serves as a gathering place for throngs of Selesnya devotees. On most other days, the Concourse is a teeming marketplace where goods transported across the city on the great roadways are bought and sold.

Kamen Fortress is the newest of the Boros stronghold in the Tenth. It overlooks the Smelting Quarter, Deadbridge Chasm, and Wayport, keeping watch for Rakdos activity. As the Theatre of Order headquarters, this is its prime directive.

[Ravnica Battlemap]Path to the Rix Maadi

Rix Maadi, or the Dungeon Palace, is the guildhall of the Cult of Rakdos on Ravnica. It is located deep in the Undercity — lower even than the Golgari — under a large mountain. Enclosing an active volcano, it holds the lava pit in which Rakdos slumbers. Rix Maadi stands at the far end of a courtyard, the Festival Grounds, its ornate stone edifice flanked by jagged basalt pillars flowing with lava streams. The façade is the only part of the guildhall that resembles an actual building.

Overgrown Tomb #2 The Antehall 32x56

With their dead being planted and regrown as plant zombies, their reanimation magic has made the Golgari the largest Ravnican guild. Much like a swarm of insects, the Golgari often seem to behave more like a single organism than as a group of individuals. The whole Swarm is driven by a primal instinct to survive and reproduce.

[Ravnica Battlemap]Gruul Turf - Scab Clan Territory 32x56

The Scab Clan is made up of a variety of races, including minotaurs, centaurs, ogres, and goblins. Scab clan warriors despise pretentiousness and false airs. They believe that the body is the outward form of the spirit and that the more maimed the appearance, the more authentic the warrior. The Scab have engulfed or destroyed several clans in recent years, but the leader of the clan, a corpulent giant known as Narbulg Nine Fingers, has not yet designed to challenge Borborygmos or the Burning Tree.

[Ravnica Battlmap] Tin Street Market 32x56

Tin Street is a well-known business quarter and neighborhood that is considered the longest unbroken thoroughfare in the Tenth District, if not all of Ravnica. A straight, broad and ancient road, Tin Street has become a major byway for those traveling across the district, as it is intersected by several other major streets and has entrances to numerous side-roads and a thousand alleyways. Shops, restaurants, inns and entertainment venues of all sorts can be found along the length of Tin Street, and a steady watch is kept by patrolling wojeks, ledev guardians, Azorius hussars and the occasional Haazda volunteer.

After the War and the Phyrexian Invasion, Vitu-Ghazi was weak and no longer able to sustain itself. The guildhall needed to lay semi-dormant to recover its strength, and Mat'Selesnya told Trostani that the tree needed space to lay new roots. A moor within a park on Selesnya territory was deemed the best place for Vitu-Ghazi to reconnect with the plane and properly recover. The tree was planted around a manor that was made a repository of the plane's history, including a library of Ravnican books and the original Guildpact.
