A Hard Day’s Night, Waldemar Swierzy (1965) / A Hard Day’s Night, Unknown, (1965, as it looks to be a poster used by polish movie theatres to dictate individual showtimes) / Help!, Eryk Lipinski (1967) / Yellow Submarine, Zygmunt Bobrowski (1970) / Unknown, Waldemar Swierzy (1978) / Yellow Submarine, Waldemar Swierzy (2009)

Bear with me:

When the Beatles arrived in Paris in January 1964, they stayed at the George V hotel.

John and Paul composed 3 songs there. One of them was "If I Fell".

Fast-forward to 1970s: John is writing a book called "Skywriting by Word of Mouth". One of the stories was about his hookup with a woman, but really with a man, as you can tell from the wording. John and the other person make love at… the George V hotel.

The Beatles Didnt Fit Any Known Categories. My First Impression Was How Could Somebody Possibly Create

The Beatles didn’t fit any known categories. My first impression was… how could somebody possibly create such music? The Beatles were different because they looked within themselves. They were singing to each other. Resonating to each other. Empathizing with each other. It felt like they, themselves, were in search of something. I’ve never seen any team like them. I think it was one of those things that happens in history once in 100 or 200 years. One thing I can say is that people are lonely, but when people do connect like they did, there’s joy, happiness, and satisfaction. It’s a miracle, I think. – Shimpei Asai, Beatles photographer
