this may be an unpopular opinion but i dont think the boys did enough to demonstrate how smart sage is
like stuff would just happen... and she'd walk in and say "oh yeah this was part of the plan." like...okay?
its not even about keeping the mystery. our evidence for her intelligence is mostly just exposition dump or whenever she uses words that are too big for the characters around her.
when she triggered a riot at the starlight protest, and then A Train left the bodies there, that was good. but after that episode it felt like the writers dropped the ball. now, we're supposed to believe there are strings being pulled off screen and she's behind it.
