Finally allowed to post the art I made for @namingofcatszine!!! I was in charge of Bombalurina's page which was such a treat as she's my second favorite cat. This was the first zine I've ever participated in and it was such fun. Everyone involved is so sweet and so talented <3

Marlene Danielle's Bombalurina solo on the closing night of the original Broadway Production.
Danielle joined the OBC as a swing in 1982, but quickly took over as Bombalurina by 84; she was the only original cast member to stay on for the entire 18 year run, and played Bombalurina for around 16 years total. You can hear in the clip that when she begins to sing, the audience breaks out into applause mid-song.
