I just read the entirety of the Green Creek Series, and something super small that absolutely destroyed me was how casual and accepting everyone was with Chris and Tanner’s relationship (definitely a QPR).

Like it was confusing at first, but no one tries to say that their love for each other was lesser than the other couples in the pack. And it really drives home the underlying theme I noticed in the series: platonic love is just as important and worthy as romantic love.

I'm still so upset that I have to wait until August to get Brothersong just because I'm stubborn and want to get the hardcover rather than the paperback
