On having opinions about your browser
My mom uses Firefox and my dad uses Chrome and they're both very opinionated on their browser of choice.
What’s really amusing about this is that the only reason my mom uses Firefox because is because I installed it on her computer many years ago, before Chrome existed. The only reason my dad uses Chrome is because when he finally got his first laptop, I was using Chrome at the time and so I installed Chrome on his computer.
So really, they're only opinionated about their browsers because at some point in the past I was the one who was opinionated about Firefox, and then later on I was the one who was opinionated on Chrome!
You keep telling us to move away from Chrome but I can tell you're not a Firefox power user because these posts never suggest NoScript or Privacy Badger.
