Just saw a "chopper fell first but ben fell harder" thing on tiktok and ik I bash on ben and chopperben but that's just bc the storyline seems a little too unrealistic/fast-paced all of a sudden to me but the way ben /looks/ at chopper during those scenes before and when ben confesses to chopper (now that I've gone back a rewatched the scenes) it 100% supports that statement

I still think chopperben is a bit too fast-paced all of a sudden and I feel that if ben did like chopper before but was too deep in the closet to do anything about it doesn't make sense bc of how he was with neung but I can tell the chimon is doing a great job of showing the difference in feelings between neung and chopper.

When he looked at neung it was like he was looking at someone he cared for but not someone he loved and that is probably why I thought ben was using him because I didn't believe he liked neung romantically but the way he looks at chopper? That man looks at him like he is his entire world like chopper is what makes the sun rise and fall every morning and night (especially in the bathroom scene after chopper is swimming) and that's all I've ever wanted for chopper. For someone to look at him like he's everything to them because chopper is such a sweetheart and I truly want chopperben to work out because if it does that means chopper will get the loves he deserves for someone.

Anyway I this is all to say despite the fact that I don't understand how ben could change his mind so quickly and the fact I don't like how little we've seen of them so I can't see where ben is coming from- chimon and perth are amazing actors and because of them I can tell that their characters love eachother I just don't like how it's being played out lol
