i know it’s been years but black sails really was insane like having a show whose main character is defined by his rage against a society that shunned him for being gay and then having that same show turn around and be like no you don’t have to forgive that society, no you don’t have to find common ground with it, no you don’t have to reform it but in fact the only moral thing for you to do in that situation is to burn it to the fucking ground??? unparalleled experience

TRUTH IS
that I loved Flint since the moment he appeared on the screen.. I mean, I didn't change my mind in season 2 or at the end of season 1. I always justified him, always found something reasonable into his actions.. I never hated him, not even in his darkest moments. This actually means being in love with a character. Love it, though it all.
