Electra is a sour gummy worm (specifically the blue/pink kind) because they’re noodly and an acquired taste that asks a lot of your tastebuds but god is it awesome

Dustin is one of those giant marshmallows because he’s a big softy 😌

Flat-Top is brick candy because obvious

Dinah is a madeleine cause she’s soft and sophisticated

Ashley is smoked bacon crisps because smoked and savoury

What to Expect in the Near Future

Today is the start of my last week of classes this semester and tomorrow will be the first day of May. When I look back at my output these past couple of years, I wind up feeling….pretty disappointed in myself honestly! For how long I’ve been in this fandom, I have little to show for it. However, once I finish up with school, I will have more time to write! (Theoretically, I plan on having at least one, possibly two jobs this summer)

I’ve decided that a lot of my issue is that I have a really hard time finishing anything, and that the more I pile on myself, the worse it gets. So I’m going to start making a plan of attack for self improvement

For a while, I will only write drabbles, the shorter the better. Try to avoid writing anything over 1000 words

Then, I’ll move up to one-shots. Nothing too big, but I have a lot of half-finished oneshots I can complete. 

Eventually I’ll start working on multichapter stuff, but I’ll need to work my way up to long fics. 

Fix up my blog to make it more friendly and easier to find stuff on, actually edit blog theme even though i despise doing it

I will start branching out into other fandoms 

I might start writing original stories as well? They’ll all be super short stories for now, but I want to take advantage of the writing prompts I’ve been seeing lately

Possibly might start a ut writing prompts blog? unsure as of this moment if I will.

Starting a series of little monsters, yay

So it begins

This insectoid, known commonly as Lewis Nirn the 8th, has several interesting features. First of its features is its double proboscis, which allows it to aptly suck up externally digested liquids, similarly to the fly. The acid it uses to break up its food is extremely strong, and can easily melt human flesh.

Its second fly-like quality is its double set of wings that swin through the air. It can move forward and backwards, and has the same movement patterns as the common dragonfly. It also lives near the water, explaining its purplish-blue hue.

It also has many legs that are positioned under it rather than at its sides. It must simply use them to stand rather than to grab since they do not have the full range of motion that other insects might.

Lewis also has four sets of compound eyes, allowing it to see rather well, and it has the ability to see a wide array of colors.

Its chunky body is said to be what keeps it on the ground when its windy, and may be an odd form of insect obesity. It has a rather soft body, similar to the caterpillar. It is usually always found eating.

It is unknown how long they live, how they reproduce, and their behavior with other members of their species. They are not believed to be eusocial, but they have been observed 'dancing' at each other, similar to the honey bee.

Oki so

Dinah would be a Kitchen talent, obviously, maybe specifically Baking, so she would be making all kinds of treats for the rest of Pixie Hollow to enjoy. I actually checked my Fairies encyclopaedia cause there exists a fairy called Dinah:

I don’t think it really goes for how StEx!Dinah would be, but still interesting. And also lovely that she has the light blue in her palette 👀👀👀

C.B. would be a Tinker talent, with a specialty in enhancing detailed/delicate stuff (once electronics reach Pixie Hollow he’ll thrive). Other than Dinah, who functions perfectly in a crowded kitchen, he would prefer to work alone. He’ll be perfectly nice to the other Tinkers and they’ll never notice it, but he doesn’t really like group assignments.

Maybe one time he’s so caught up in his work that he completely forgets to get dinner and he’ll end up sneaking into the kitchen late at night in hopes of finding some leftovers

And it so happens that there is a cute little blonde fairy cleaning up the mess she created when she dropped a pan of soup, so he helps her in exchange for some poppy seed rolls and they immediately hit it off and hrnnnggggggggggg them 🥺🖤🖤

Anyway, to wrap this up: I used the official Disney Fairies fairy creator (or, well, a fan remake of it since the original has been offline for almost ten years now) to make a lil Dee and Cee. Since the sparrow man option wasn’t finished yet, I’ve had to girlify C.B. and you know what I like it
