Would y'all believe me if I told you that I've been absolutely OBSESSED with this AU for 2 months now and I've been holding back the urge to post about it because I didn't make anything for it yet?

The Chaotic Crossover AU!
AU explanation and facts under the cut.
The Chaotic Crossover AU is an au where characters of mine can travel across each other's universes, which allows them to be together. This AU's main focus are the interactions between my oc's, so my oc's are only really interacting with each other and no one else. Also, other random universes might open up for them to explore. Maybe it's just a parking lot, maybe it's an entire jungle... they'll never know until they enter. They enter them through a bunch of labeled white doors that are in a completely white void.
How all of this works, you may ask?
Doesn't matter! This is all purely for the fun of it and no one really questions anything.
So, basically, my homemade idiots (affectionate) hangout and chaos ensues.
Now, some facts about the gang:
Milo in this group is basically a weird mixture of a mom friend and a wine aunt.
Everyone is a member of the Molly protection squad.
Milo occasionally holds her hand in a motherly type of way, because they kept losing her during their hangouts.
Mina holds a lot of the braincells, but doesn't feel like sharing them. Milo is salty at Mina for not sharing said braincells.
Mina in general is still debating which option she finds worse, being with these 3 or with the kids in the culdesac.
They don't know what's worse, when Charlie is being all crazy and loud or when she's awfully quiet.
You should never leave Molly and Charlie in a room together for too long. Molly is very naive and believes virtually anything Charlie tells her.
Like, Molly didn't know what stealing is. And to be fair, she still doesn't, because Charlie told her that it's just 'saving things that don't actually belong to those people, so that they can finally be happy'.
And even though Milo tried to tell Molly the truth, she was so in awe with the idea of it that he didn't wanna break it to her.
Charlie basically acts as a weird sorta mentor that teaches Molly about the most random stuff. Milo usually stops her before she teaches Molly about something she shouldn't know about. (weapons, death etc.) Also, since Molly is the tallest Charlie often climbs on top of her for a piggyback ride.
Milo sees Mina as the grumpy teenager that the parents always drag along on a road trip even though she doesn't wanna go.
No one is really sure what's up with Molly's knowledge of things and her overall mentality, and no one is actually aware that she's an adult.
Charlie always comes up with crazy plans and tries to drag the others along with it.
Milo is the one that calls her out about the problems of said plan.
The Mina and Molly dynamic is basically:
Someone who doesn't care about anything at all, and someone who tends to care about things too much. Which leads to Molly often awkwardly asking Mina if she should worry about things. And Mina often says no for situations that do need a certain level of concern, to which Molly just tries her best to stay positive.
Charlie thinks she's the leader of the group. (It's actually Milo at this point cuz he's the one keeping everyone alive-)

Some Molly and Milo facts are under the cut!
Molly likes shopping, she does it over mail order catalogues and then it gets delivered to her house eventually. She mostly orders pajamas but also any other stuff that's sleep related.
If someone were to take Mr. T. Bear away from Molly, no matter wether she's asleep or awake, she'd notice immediately.
Molly was the one who suggested that they should hold hands to not lose each other, since she always holds onto Mr. T. Bear to not lose him.
The place where Molly's intro would be located is a page on the website that's titled "Unused Bits" where unused content for the show is being showcased for the sake of archiving it. The page would have a bit of a different look to it than the other displays on the website and the fact that none of it is canon would be highlighted. Molly wouldn't be the only unused character on the page, but I'm only going to be creating content for her.
Molly's character is kind of just a fun-fact kind of thing thats isn't connected to the main story at all. I think that her and the other hypothetical unused characters on the page would basically be red herrings for theorists.
Molly does have some text transcript concepts, but no audio is available for any of them.
Upon listening to one of the audios on the website I've realized that Howdy said that "Molly" is his aunt's name. Given the fact that there are plenty of random family members he has, they needed a name that somewhat ryhmes with the rest so from now on it's canon that Molly Moon's first name was reused to be the name of one of Howdy's family members.
Milo is a performer at heart, but at this point he very much lacks the motivation to do anything with it.
At least, that's what he thinks... you see, Milo is the kinda person who becomes the center of attention very often without realizing it.
With the way he acts it isn't a surprise, but he's really not doing it on purpose.
Milo collects coffee mugs, which are sorted into two categories:
1.) Mugs that are genuinely pretty and or fancy.
2.) Mugs that have something unhinged and or random written on them.
Molly and Charlie almost get arrested! :D ✨
Part 1/2
Don't think too much about the heights... cuz neither did I when I drew it, as you can see-
This was supposed to be just the Barbie movie meme at first but then I ended up making it into a story, the first half of it is under the cut.
You'll get the second part whenever I finish it-
Charlie is the type of person who's always up for a fight if one is necessary. She wouldn't initiate one without a good reason behind it.
In this instance, someone probably took Mr. T. Bear away from Molly or made fun of her or something, and Milo wasn't around to fight with words so Charlie did it with her own form of fighting. Those small hands can pack a surprisingly good punch-
Charlie has a concerningly high amount of pain tolerance, she could be dripping with blood and somehow still be standing as if nothing happened.
So here she's happy that she won the fight, and Molly is very concerned about multiple things at once, she's not sure what exactly happened because Charlie told her to close her eyes while the whole thing was happening.
Man, I wonder how the other two will react when they hear what happened.
Guess we'll see that in part 2...

This drawing was supposed to be posted on Halloween, but I underestimated how much time it'll take me to finish it.
For the record, no one actually got harmed in the taking of this picture. How? I have no idea. I haven't come up with a story for this besides 'The gang meets Barnaby on Halloween and he tries to kill them in various ways.'
I'll put the full Halloween costume designs for the gang in a seperate post.

Barnaby doesn't get one of these because I don't fully like how he turned out, I don't think I captured his essence well enough-

Alright I'll explain the thought process behind these, in order in which I designed them in.
1.) Charlie
For Charlie I was torn between two ideas, cowboy or pirate. Due to my bias for cowboys I was leaning more towards that but eventually a certain someone, you know who you are, I ain't gonna tag you >:D reconvinced me to go for the pirate idea due to the thief part and then I realized that an eye patch would cover her right eye so I was sold. Designing her costume was pretty easy to be honest, I just kept adding stuff to make her look cool. Also, I had to make a Hawkshaw reference, I couldn't possibly resist once I thought of it. I'll probably draw her as a cowboy eventually though. Also, I let her have sharp teeth in the final drawing, as a treat.
2.) Cursed Treasure
Due to the lyrics I came up with I needed to give Charlie some sorta cursed treasure, so I thought a cursed golden Barnaboo statue would look cute and do the trick. The eyes and bow are meant to be gemstones and I made the face looks off so that the cursed part is a bit obvious.
3.) Milo
I actually sketched Charlie's and Milo's designs and finished them in the same day. Milo's was a quick one, I knew immediately that he had to be a vampire cuz he would definitely be something that's somewhat elegant. The hair looked a bit weird to me so I put the sunglasses there to cover it up a bit, and honestly he's pulling it all off better than what I expected. Also his teeth are perfectly goofy enough as to where I can't take him 100% seriously, which is how it should be.
4.) Parasol
The parasol was an afterthought after I had already finished Milo's design. It's inspired by the parasols that Draculaura and Poppy Pointer have. Although I screwed it up by making the handle black instead of white in the final drawing, I was going to fix it but when I started doing that I realized that there's already a lot of white in his design so I kept the black handle.
5.) Mina
For Mina I had to go for the obvious option, a witch, mostly due to lore reasons. It's canon that Mina insists on being a witch every year for Halloween because she told the culdesac kids that "Witches show their true form on Halloween." and she has to keep up that story, although her mom doesn't want her to have the same outfit each year, so she makes a different witch outfit each time. It's a pretty regular outfit with a witch hat slapped on top, but for Mina it perfectly does the trick.
6.) Molly and Mr. T. Bear
It was all fun and games until I started to design Molly's costume. The first idea I had for Molly was for her to be the Tooth fairy. Perfect idea, right? It's somewhat sleep related, Mr. T. Bear can be a tooth and it'll look cute. That's what I told myself. After 3 days of furiously looking through the web trying to find some sorta inspiration or color pallete I actually like, I gave up on the idea. I hated all of the concepts I made to the point where I got tired of the idea. Thing is... I didn't know what other costume to give her. The only ideas I could come up with were: a bed bug, sleeping beauty and Molly and Mr. T. Bear as each other. I didn't like any of those enough, so, in a moment of desperation I asked my friend for help. She told me that she noticed a pattern between the costumes I picked, that all of them were some sorta villans. Vampire, pirate, witch... she was right... I didn't do that on purpose. If she hadn't told me I would've never noticed it... Anyways, she basically suggested that Molly could maybe be a wolf. I was like oh she could be a werewolf because of the full moon and she's a moon you get the gist. And then, later on, when I was looking through the web I came across a drawing of the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood dressed as the grandma. That's when it clicked in my head. Molly as the wolf and Mr. T. Bear as Little Red Riding Hood. I was sold and I ended up liking the designs and finishing them on first try. The friend mentioned here wanted to get credited this way, since she doesn't have any socials.
And that's about it! As much as I dreaded the process because it took me ages, I do think the effort paid off. I'll definitely draw these again! :>

Part 2/2
This was supposed to be a full drawing, but when I had the lineart halfway done I didn't like how it was turning out so I decided to just show the sketch instead.
Further explanation under the cut.
This was also supposed to include a small fic but I ended up deciding against it due to lore reasons.
Basically, Mina and Milo didn't react well, which was more obvious for Milo who didn't hesitate to give her a seemingly never ending lecture. At the end he basically made a new rule that she's not allowed to fight anyone, anywhere, anytime, for any reason. Unless it's an upmost emergency and he gives her permission to do it.
During the lecture he treated her wounds, and Mina was giving him the stuff he needs. The packages these things came in became more empty by the minute. Charlie was quiet throughout the whole thing.
Molly went to take a nap to calm herself down in Mina's room before these two even saw Charlie. Afterwards they basically went around the truth and made the story seem harmless for the sake of Molly's fragile, loving and caring mentality.
And that's about it. They continued to hang out like they normally would... except for Milo's continuous reminders to Charlie to not do anything even remotely acrobatic or the bandages will fall off.
Lately I've been working a lot on their individual lores, and the lore of the au overall, so my brain's all over the place trying to piece it all together.

I think the one thing about the Chaotic Crossover AU that no one ever thinks about is the fact that it's an AU. An alternative universe.
The versions we see of these 4 oc's in the AU don't necessarily align 100% with their canon counterparts. Even if it does, for the most part.
If we take a second to actually compare wether there are any differences between the Chaotic Crossover AU versions of Molly, Mina, Milo and Charlie and their canon counterparts, we are able to easily see the difference.
The AU versions are considerably happier versions of the actual canon characters, simply because they have each other.
The AU versions are doing far better, because I erased their current canon problems for the sake of making them mindlessly have fun with each other. The Chaotic Crossover AU is practically just an elaborate excuse for me to see these characters being happy.
Because, for the love of god, they deserve to be.
But their canon selves haven't gotten that far yet.
Who knows when they will.
And it's not like I'm gonna wait.

"We're together in every universe" this "we'll always find eachother" that. What about this is the only universe that we're together in. What about there is no other way this could have worked. What about this is the only place that we have found each other. And goddamn it if we aren't going to make the most of it.
Small thing I wanna mention so there's no confusion in the future.
Regarding the Chaotic Crossover AU, I know that I stated that it's

and at the time of creating the au I was planning to slowly add new characters to it the more new oc's I created, but, that's not the case anymore.
Piper happened to be the first new oc I made, but after I tried to add her and also some other wip oc's to it, I've realized that it's not gonna work.
The dynamic I created with these 4 would ultimately just get ruined if I added anybody else to it, so I won't.
Of course, if I happen to create 4 (or more) new oc's with a fun group dynamic, I could make a sorta Chaotic Crossover AU V2.
V3, V4... we could go on and on, but I'm not making promises, just telling ya the possibilities.
