I decided to practice drawing by sketching a chocobo from the Final Fantasy series! Of course I used a reference image from Google, though I'm still really satisfied with the results!

I’ve also got the head canon that, yeah, no, the wild ones take in protein just fine. Have you seen chickens chasing a mouse? Or chickens going after chicken patties? A lot of herbivores will, in a pinch, eat meat. There are steppe nomads that feed their horses the same jerky meat they eat themselves. Lucinda and her “mess around and find out” attitude came from my push back against the biddable chocobo in the games. That and the armored chocobos from Zodiac Age.
LC Birb verse: Just re-reading threw the tag and found the Twins are Black Chocobo's tread. I feel I must add the Australia went to war with Emu's (who along side Ostriches and Cassowaries are the closest living real world equivalents to Chocobos) and LOST to the Emu's. Chocobo LC twins is a terrifying terrifying thing and I love it. PS this is also why FFXV portraying Chocobos as helpless without human bothers me those bird could take care of themselves in the wild just fine
Yeah chocobos being totally domesticated is- weird? And I personally don't agree with it. I can see there being a fully domesticated variant who has higher population numbers than wild ones, but personally I think the wilds would do just fine. Because come on. Have you seen those talons.

I needed to do this because i’m finally playing the remake and you can’t stop me.
MoM!Sora at one time had a pet chocobo of his own, he raised it from a chick and when it eventually died of old age it left MoM!Sora too distraught to get another one. He doesn't let that deter him from introducing his kids to them though.

In a tribute to TeamFourStar for keeping me laughing my head off while in Lockdown: The events of Final Fantasy 7 Machinabridged (FF7MA) was the result of a zany D&D Session that happened one slow night in Traverse Town (before Sora arrived) with the foul mouthed Cid as the Dungeon Master. The events of Final Fantasy 7 original did happen in the Realm of Light when it was whole but everything got reshuffled when it broke.
The Radiant Garden crew blame Cid for the reoccurring dreams of the session they had even if the dialogue is a lot more serious for some reason... Of course they do eventually get a explanation of their previous incarnations eventually in the Master of Masters posts...
