CinnaPhos scenario I thought of if Cinnabar went to the moon with Phos

Phos and Cinna are watching Aechmea & Welegato be lovey dovey with eachother:

Phos, annoyed: Tsk, they think they're so much better than us just becuz they can put their mouths together, ick, right Cinnabar... Cinnabar?

Phos than sees Cinna staring at the couple with a look that says "I want to do that"

Phos, still annoyed: Really Cinnabar?

Cinnabar, turns to look at Phos: sorry, were you saying something?

Phos: Grr, you know what?

Cinnabar: hm?

Phos then grabs Cinna's face and kisses them, breaking Cinnabar's face and spreading mercury all over Phos' lips.

Cinnabar, enraged: You.. YOU IDIOT!! I HAVENT GOTTEN MY MERCURY REMOVED YET!!!

Cinnabar then runs away blushing like hell going to go their face repaired.

Cinnabar and Phos eye contact cuz yes.

that ship is toxic to YOU. to me it's a complex, multi-layered, essay-worthy dynamic that'd take numerous hours to dissect (during which i'll spend crying screaming tearing my hair out)

I remember reading Obsidian's interview in 'Party at the end' and how they talked about how similar their material was to Cinna's Mercury and now all I can think about is if Obsidian, Antarc, Cinnabar, and Phos going on a picnic becuz of their shared semi-liquidness. someone plz make fanart of this or a fanfic of this lmao

I've said this before but Why do people position "themes and analysis" and "shipping" as mutually exclusive opposites. maybe I find two characters thematically interesting and want them to analytically fuck about it.

Thinking about how BeniLexi are what CinnaPhos could've been.

Alexandrite normally has a color similar to Phos until they get enraged and turn red, like Cinnabar. And Benito is blue like Lapis' head.

Lexi trusts Benito, Benito doesn't entirely trust Lexi. Like how Phos trusts Cinnabar but Cinnabar doesn't.

Cinnabar and Benito somewhat admire the lunarians. Phos and Lexi become somewhat enraged by them becuz of loss.

Writing a fanfic and realized something... IF OBSIDIAN AND THE OTHERS DIDNT MAKE THE HIBERNATION CASKET, CINNABAR WOULD'VE SLEPT IN THEIR CAVE, AND YOU KNOW WHO GOES TO THEIR CAVE DURING WINTER?? YEAH, PHOS. PHOS WAS LOOKING FOR THEM IN THAT CAVE WHEN THE OTHERS WERE TRYING TO BREAK THEM. AND CINNABAR WASNT THERE WHEN PHOS NEEDED THEM MOST. AHHHHHH.
