Oh boy. So Clara was carefree and confident in arr. She was learning but at a pace she was happy with. As time goes on and the story progresses all Clara begins to see are her failings and faults. After all a hero is supposed to save the day and make things right, so why did things continue to go wrong? By Shadowbringers was at rock bottom. It was only through quick thinking on Ryne and her companions that Clara survived the light warden transformation. Slowly she is coming to a better place.

Clara Lara was briefly married to Haurchefant during Heavensward. This I imagined as a family portrait commissioned after their union. Based on this vintage portrait:
Clara loves nature and has a journal for recording flora and fauna. So here I imagined Haurchefant trying to help Clara get used to her new life in Ishgard by taking her on a trip to the Sea of Clouds where she could enjoy the landscape.

Clara's favorite drink is Haurchefant's hot chocolate, and her favorite place is her warm bed in the deep midwinter.

Clara had almost dozed off when a warmth crept over and into the covers.
"I'm sorry I've come so late" the voice came softly from behind. Clara rolled over into Haurchefant's chest. She blinked tiredly before giving a soft bleary smile.
"You came at all, and for that I am blessed." Clara sighed as she situated herself into a more comfortable position. She looked up at him. His eyes were underlined with dark moons, his shoulders high with stiffness. Clara gently pressed her forehead to his own.
"I love this part best. What time we do get to spend is most enjoyable." Clara hummed sweetly.
I wish you didn't have to go, that you could just stay here with me, like this." He chuckled, his hot breath played across her horns and her hair.
"I can't, it would be selfish of me, to stay here while others suffer when I could help."
"I wish we could be selfish." He grumbled as his arm slipped across her back rubbing little circles across it.
"And where would that leave us?"
"I could say for sure, but. I know I'd still be the happiest man in all of Ishgard. I'd be at your side." Clara's nose crinkled at this before she gave into laughter.

Without a doubt it is Alphinaud. Initially if Clara is truthful, she didn't like him, not one bit. He was far to young to be so pompous and arrogant, but his heart was in the right place and his ideals were fair. So Clara followed him after what felt like almost being given to him by Minfilia. Here perception of him changed as he and Tataru were all she had left of the shattered scions in Heavensward, and from there he only grew more and more. The boy had quickly changed from dominating master to her son in her eyes. She realized his arrogance was merely a defense and a lack of social skills instead of being truly from a place malice and superiority. They now spend time in comfortable silence as they read and he bounces his ideas off her. He has grown so much in such a short amount of time.
