the transition from carmy being the one learning alongside luca while working under chef terry to him being the one giving orders to his peers including luca is so bittersweet, you really start to understand their friendly rivalry and why so many people are inspired by him, his work ethic alone in this first episode is so beautiful and such a fun watch overall
