Went on a vacation for a week and all of a sudden my art skills have improved 🤷♂️ not complaining though. I think it has something to do with the fact that I've been drawing traditionally kinda non-stop the past week and that it has given me a different (?) view on art and how to apply different ways of drawing things etc etc. I might also just be talking bullshit 💀

CALAHAN "CAL" DAWSON
This dude has been brewing in my brain for MONTHS already. I have about... 1/2 of a rough draft (read: EXTREMELY ROUGH) finished for the fanfiction I'm writing, and finally got to drawing his face. I gotta say, I really outdid myself with this one. (This is me saying I'm proud of myself without outright saying it because, pfft, what? Being nice to myself? I barely know her!)
This dude is honestly the epitome of 'Texan Boah'. He's born and raised in some fuckass, middle-of-nowhere town in the fuckass, middle-of-nowhere Texas, lived on a ranch with his parents and two sisters (one of which is his twin), before becoming a Marine at the age of sixteen because of financial problems plaguing his family. Through the Marines he came in contact with a certain Phillip Graves, who'd become his closest friend, and eventually Cal would be the second face of Shadow Company (obviously a lot of bullcrap happens between moment A and B, but I'm not gonna write all of that here.)
