Welcome Home (Darkiplier x reader) Part 3- Breath of fresh air
You quickly turned around, breathing heavily.
There was nobody there. You sighed shakily. Turning back to the sink you splashed some water on your face. Everything had gone awry since you arrived at this place. You looked out the window; the rain had stopped by now, it'd be perfect to go for a walk. You walked over to the front door. You opened the door and stepped out into the street.
The sun was beginning to peek through the clouds. You took a deep breath and started to take a walk. You felt a sense of peace wash over you as you enjoyed the fresh air and the warmth of the sun. You walked for a few hours till you came across a massive sign for one of your favorite juice places.
You and Mark used to come to this place a lot before you moved out of state. You looked at the poster in front of the door. It read "ONLY FOR TODAY, ALL SMALL DRINKS ON US!" in big bold letters. You decided to go inside.
You just stared in terror at seeing how crowded it was. You'd probably be in here for hours before you could even reach the counter! After what felt like an eternity, you got to the counter and ordered a drink. Once it was handed to you, you started making your way to the exit until somebody bumped into you.
Your drink had spilled onto your shirt. "Oh, I'm so terribly sorry!" The person who bumped into you said as they handed you some napkins. You looked up at them. It was a man. He was tall. He had black hair that was neatly slicked back, and he wore a black suit with a rose pinned to it.
Something about his eyes though unnerved you. You just couldn't put your finger on it. He was quite attractive though. "It's uh, fine." You said, wiping your shirt with the napkins he'd given you.
"Here, you may have my drink. I hope you like pomegranate though, it's the flavour I got." He said sheepishly, handing you his drink. You smiled at him. The 2 of you walked out of the crowded store and sat on a nearby bench.
You took about six sips of the drink before placing it down for a moment. You turned your head to him.
"Sorry, I never caught your name. What was it?" You asked.
"Oh, how rude of me. My apologies. My name is Damien. It's wonderful to make your acquaintance." He said, flashing you a bright smile.
Welcome Home (Darkiplier x reader) Part 4- A moment too late
“It’s uh, wonderful to meet you too Damien.” You said, smiling back. Wow, was he gorgeous... You could go on for eternity about how perfect he was. “So tell me, does somebody as enchanting as you have a partner, perhaps a boyfriend or girlfriend?” He asked, inching just a tad closer to you. “Oh no, I haven’t been in a relationship in a while.” You answered, staring into his eyes. They were a sharp icy blue with an abnormal soft glow to them.
It was almost hypnotic. “Well if you’re available, perhaps we could go to dinner this evening? My treat of course.” He offered, taking your hands in his. It made you shiver. Why were they so frigid? Your mind told you to decline, to pull your hands away and just run. Yet your heart said otherwise, everything about his eyes, his smile, his..face. It was all so beautiful, so alluring, so secure, so..familiar. It was practically impossible for you to decline.
You were hanging onto his every word. “I’d love to go out with you, Damien." You answered, smiling at him. You exchanged numbers and parted ways for the time being, but you just couldn’t wait to see him again.
You entered the manor giggling while texting on your phone. Your joy faded when you were met with Mark looking at you. His face was a mix of concern and disappointment. “Where have you been for the past half an hour? You said you were going to help out but you just disappeared. Plus you’ve been acting weird since you got here and avoiding me.” You frowned. “Is it your business?” You questioned, glaring at him. “..What? I guess not but it’d be nice to know at least. Look, whatever's going on, you can tell me. We’re still friends.” Mark said, his tone becoming reassuring.
“Oh please, don’t act like you still care, Mr. big-shot YouTube star.” Mark's eyes widened a bit. “Is that what this is about? You’re being dramatic." You shoved him aside. “I don’t wanna hear it. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a date to get to.” You said, looking at your phone again as you started walking past him.
Mark took a glance at the profile picture of whoever you were texting. His face paled. “Look, I’m sorry if I made you feel left out or anything of the sort. But I don’t think you should go on that date." You ignored him and just continued walking upstairs.

Mark stood nervously, thinking about what he should do. There was no way he’d found his way back again, right? He put his hands into his pocket and his expression paled. Everything in there was gone, except his phone.

Maybe a little werewolf Dark? Maybe helping him through what he can’t tell is either a chronic pain flare or a full moon coming soon? Either way, his body doesn’t like him and he is ouch. Scritches for the wolf man to make him feel better.

Dark entered your shared room, looking moody and incredibly exhausted. His hair was unkempt and all over the place, Despite how incredibly hot it looked on him, something was up. Dark would never let his hair get that messed up. Dark approached your shared bed and just face planted down onto a pillow. "Hi honey, you doing good?" You asked, putting your phone away and looking down at your boyfriend. "..No. I appreciate you asking though." You ran your fingers through his hair. "You wanna talk about what's bothering you, or are you going to just lay there like the edgelord you are?" A small sound akin to purring reverberated from him in response.
Dark then turned his gaze to you, he looked incredibly tired and his eyeliner was smudged. "It's merely a bit of pain, nothing big." He then moved himself closer to you, putting his head on your lap. "Is it werewolf related or just the normal flare up?" You asked, continuing to play with his hair. "I'm unsure." He replied before re-adjusting himself to have you leaning against him instead of the other way around. "Do you need anything? Where does it hurt?"
"My bad leg and my neck, but it's fine dearest. Your presence is enough to make me feel better." He said, picking up your hand and kissing the back of it. "If you need anything at all, I want you to tell me. I don't want to find you on the floor in pain again." You told him, combing your fingers through his disheveled hair. "I'm fine my love, as long as you're with me I have nothing to worry about." You just sighed and kissed him on the cheek. "I love you so much, Damien."

My personal nonsensical headcanon abt Dark is that he owns a pet cat that's somehow like demonic by association bc like when he's Dark it's a blob of void but when he's Damien it's a tuxedo kitty. The kitty is technically named Damien Jr., but is addressed as Dames. Also, the cat mimicks whatever he does

His schedule was usually full, he barely had time for himself/his social life, but somehow always made it work
He was learning how to bake, before he wkm the two things he mastered were brownies and sugar cookies but other then that he wasn’t the best at the skill
Used baking as a way to feel closer/bond with Celine
He would keep every gift he received from any of his friends, no matter how big or small
He wanted nothing but the best for everyone he knew
Had a very messed up sleep schedule and would often get little to no sleep, he knew how to hide it if need be
