Finally getting around to posting Abstract Orbit aka Dave Bowman! I themed his color scheme on his red space suit and his patterning on Jupiter, I think his talent would be in relation to space and art! Also please for the love of TMA-1 PLEASE give suggestion for Frank, I have only read 2001, and watched both movies so I frankly (haha get it) have zero clue on what his talent or name should be.
This frankly (haha get it) took way too long to make but here is Frank/Golden Galaxy, an earth pony with a talent for medicine who travels with Checkmate (HAL who I now realize I never gave a name to) and Abstract Orbit (Dave). His color palette gave me some serious issues, I wanted him to be mainly yellow due to his space suite but didn’t want him to be entirely just different shades of yellow so I considering green and purple and ultimately decided on using purple as an accent to really fit with his name. I think he has the weakest design of the bunch since I had much less to go on however I’m still sorta satisfied. Anyways I guess this is the conclusion for now of 2001 ponies, I may make SAL and I’ll still draw these ponies but I probably won’t make designs for any other characters since how much trouble I had with Frank. Onward onto more fandom designs ig.

So uh the 2001 A Space Odyssey fandom has a LOT of crossover with the IHNMAIMS fandom. So uh that's cool.
