How would taisiya and mikhail react if mc slips out and accidentally call them mom and dad?
You clamp your mouth shut, as if you can pull the words back in. Taisiya and Mikhail both stare at you, stunned.
“I’m…sorry.” You croak, “I didn’t-“
Mikhail reacts before his wife, pursing his lips, “Don’t apologize.”
You wait for the reprimand from the normally strict man, but he only stands and approaches you slowly. He grips you only the shoulder before pulling you in, giving you a firm hug. He steps back quickly, giving your hair a ruffle.
“Never apologize for that.” His voice is gruff now, as if holding back emotion, “You hear me?”
You nod meekly, your eyes flicking over to Taisiya. She has both hands over her mouth, her eyes bright and shining with tears. She steps forward, around her husband. When she moves her hands you can see that her lips are trembling with the effort not to cry.
“Since the day you stepped foot in this house,” She whispers, squishing your cheeks together with her hands as she laughs through her tears, “I always knew I had another kid.”
Mikhail wraps an arm around his wife’s waist, looking at her fondly before turning to you once more, “Know you can always call us, whenever you need for whatever reason.”
“And even if there’s not a reason,” Taisiya pipes up, “You never need one to call, moye solnyshka.”

I kinda forgot about this drawing, so uh here it is!
This is Silvia. She is my Unchosen MC in @disenchantedif Unsurprisingly, going through years of feeling inadequate is not good for the psyche. As a sorcerer, Ms. Weaver plans to specialize in alchemy so she may help others without being in the spotlight. Hopefully, the slumber party will help her calm down.

Jealousy - Lucien
Lucien’s turn! He gets to deck someone, as a treat. The full thing can be read over on Patreon!
He has no right to jealousy. None at all. What right does he have to your life after the way he treated you?
Still, it eats at Lucien’s heart. You were the most important person in his life…if he’s honest with himself, you still are. There’s a pedestal in his heart and he’d tried desperately to knock you off of it to no avail.
Now you’re a stranger he loves dearly, and he’s a stranger you can’t stand.
The jealousy he’d like to deny still lives there, burning in his heart despite how he’d like to deny it. It’s even worse at times like these.
You’re walking only steps ahead of him. It’s a coincidence; you both have an afternoon class and you live in the same hallway, after all. There’s a guy walking beside you, and Lucien can tell it’s not Viktor. The lack of horns is a dead giveaway there.
He leans toward you, your shoulders brushing, and he turns his head. Lucien can see the smile curling his lips as he leans down into you space and says something.
Heart lurching in his chest, he tries valiantly to keep his head down and continue marching on. He hopes against hope that you don’t glance back and see him; he knows he’s the definition of pathetic at the moment.
Then, the second after the guy leans into your space, you cringe back and shuffle a few steps away. Lucien realizes then just how tense your posture is, and how your fingers are curling around your keys like a weapon.
No. He can’t…this can’t happen. They’ll rake you over the coals for an assault even if you’re just protecting yourself.
Lucien promised he wouldn’t intervene in your life anymore for your sake. This, though? He’s doing this for you, too.
“Hey!” He barks the word out, watching the both of you freeze in place.

I played the demo for @disenchantedif again. Different character this time! Her name is Irene Salo. (Salo is the Finnish word for forest iirc.) She's trying to move past being unchosen, but some circumstances make it difficult to forget
I also drew the octopus planter than Viktor made for her, I imagined it as a flapjack octopus because they are adorable and I love them so much.
Octo-pot
For art class, the option I chose was 1D: combine an animal with an object. (No idea what happened to the C options) I thought back to @disenchantedif (which I haven't played in a while) and recreated the octopus planter pot.
The Dumbo octopus is too freaking cute. Apparently, it's a family of cephalopods called Grimpoteuthis aka "umbrella octopus"
Also the plant is a sprout from a jade plant. Recently one of the leaves fell off the plant I have at home and sprouted, so I decided to use that.
