Very excited for the upcoming Splatfest (Inkling vs. Octoling)! I bought a Switch recently (and immediately got my power station stolen, yay) after @unu-nunu-art infected me with Splatoon xD
So I couldn’t resist taking the ask and drawing to that. (Ink’s rainbow colour is Unu’s idea xD )

I wanted to paint something that makes me happy for pride, and tiny watercolor octopods do the trick :D
I stuck with the 4 basic groups of LGBT (+ ace, bc I’m ace :>), but I would love to paint more! So if you’d like to see a specific flag painted in octopus, leave me an ask or reblog it with your request and I’ll add on to this post!

The wonderful Glass Octopus. Living at depths of around 3000 ft and only being about a foot long, these strange little creatures are rarely seen by scientists.

*Update: this is not a real octopus but a spy bot for research. In a BBC vid(here), the spy bot helps an octopus to protect itself from sharks.
