Day 01: Your favourite scene.
I absolutely love the scenes where they really go heavily into the idea of 'we are in fact dreaming, we can do anything.' The scenes where Ariadne is playing with the bridges and the city, the one where Cobb and Mal knock over the brick of sand and we see it duplicated behind them, their city being built in a similar way... that kind of unreality stuff makes me so happy. I just want to look at it forever.

Day 26: If each character was a snack food, what snack would they be?
Cobb: Muddy buddies/puppy chow. I have a lot of good memories of making these with my family. They're easy enough that you can whip up a batch quickly with/for kids. (or if you're also the dad friend of the group)
Arthur: These things. You can't eat just one. Befote you know it you've shoved all 30 into your mouth in one sitting. You still feel good about yourself though, because they're just so tasty.
Ariadne: Angel food cake. Toeing the line between 'snack' and 'dessert' but I, for one, am completely incorrigible and will eat it any time so I think it counts. Light and fluffy and goes great with pretty much any topping. Especially homemade whipped cream. Mm.
Eames: Pigs in a blanket. Easy to make, but absolutely essential. When I walk in to any social gathering and see these, it's going to be a good time no matter what. My team lost the Super Bowl? Well, I know nothing about sports and I've eaten like a dozen pigs in a blanket so it's still a pretty good day for me.
Yusuf: Cold rotisserie chicken straight out of the fridge at 2 in the morning. A snack for when you're up because you're doing something too important for things like sleep or cooking so you're just grabbing whatever food you have in the house.
Saito: Freeze dried mango slices. They're expensive as all get-out, but they're probably one of my favorite snacks. Well worth the price, even if I feel bad about spending so much money on them afterwards.

Day 03: If Inception were a musical, what song would you want to be in it? Who would be singing it to whom?
I don't know if they want to be tagged, but aflour put down some Lord Huron songs for this and they're so right about that. As soon as I finished Inception the first time, I sat down and pulled up The Stranger.
It fits Dom so well.
"I can't trust anyone or anything these days / If you are who you say you are then show your face."
In all his dreams, Cobb can't see his children - he looks away from the projections of them when Mal tries to make him stay with her. He'll only let himself see their faces when he gets home to his real children.
"Came out of the ocean like you came out of a dream / Your voice, it sounds familiar, but you are not what you seem / All your words of comfort cannot take away my doubt."
Limbo is always envisioned as a beach you wash up on, coming out of the ocean. And then Cobb creating a projection of Mal who tries to cajole him into staying with her.
"I know enough to say you are not what you claim to be / So I've kept close watch upon you and I don't like what I see / Can't escape the feeling that you'll get me in the night / Well, I sleep with one open, I am not afraid to fight"
The memory prison he keeps for Mal, where he watches over the projection, and her lashing out at him while he does dreamshare jobs.
"Now that I have seen your face / I'm haunted by the letters of your name."
This repeats at the very end of the song, and the music is almost cheery here, compared to the rest of it. This would be when he finally makes it home and is able to see his children's faces again.
I think Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men also relates pretty well to his relationship with Mal!
If we could get a scene with Saito in Limbo, Lonesome Dreams might be nice. That's also a Lord Huron song.

Day 15: Your favourite romantic pairing.
I am quite firmly of the opinion that they would all be together. There's more than enough tension there to go around, and after everything that went down, I think they all deserve as much love as they can get. The only issue I can think of with this is I don't know if there are many beds big enough for six people, but two of them are architects and one of them can pay to have things custom-made so I think they'll figure it out.
If I have to choose just one, it'd be Saito and Cobb. The parallels between his relationship with Mal and his relationship with Saito make me swoon every time. 😍

Day 17: If you could change anything about Inception, what would it be?
In the scene at the airport, Cobb gets one last look at everyone - except Saito, who is speaking on the phone. I think they need one more longing gaze into each other's eyes to complete the set.

Day 18: A rumour about Saito that the team thinks might be true.
That he has several illegitimate children. There's really no way to tell either way if it's true or false without a lot of very invasive investigating, but Cobb points out that Saito is great with James and Phillipa, and absolutely loves spending time with them, so if he had any children there's no way he'd rather hide it than be a good father.

I'm really new to the fandom so all I have is some (read: as many as I'm allowed to put) incorrect Inception quotes from the incorrect quotes generator.

Day 20: A headcanon about your favourite pairing.
They all travel for business often, so they keep a handful of safehouses/apartments in major areas. These get covered wall-to-wall in little post-it notes they leave each other.

Day 21: What was Mal and Cobb's wedding like?
Absolutely beautiful. I've been looking at cathedrals in Paris they could possibly get married at, and I like the Basilica of Saint Denis! I have to admit I don't know a ton about Catholicism but this place is gorgeous and it claims to have invented Gothic architecture!
They'd have their reception in the lobby of some hotel they both liked the architecture of. It would be rather small, mostly family members (and even then, mostly Mal's) and very close friends. Arthur gives the best man speech.

Day 22: Your favourite quote.
"You said we'd grow old together."
"But we did. We did, you don't remember?"
The way their arc has been unfulfilled the whole time because this promise to grow old wasn't kept, and the way Cobb finally recognizes that even though their time together wasn't in the real world, it was still meaningful, and he can finally move on.
