I just finished re-watching all of Tales of Arcadia and I'm a mess. These memes and fanfiction are the only things helping me rn. And cake, lots of cake.
Been watching Trollhunters and I gotta say, Jim reminds me of Jack Darby from TFP. Mainly because of their (relatable) moms.
Also love Jim and Draal friendship development 🥹🥹 I am so glad I was rooting for Draal in the beginning because ya know, his anger was understandable (but him being a jerk wasn't an excuse tho)

There’s always that feeling with a new book. A feeling of wariness and prudence on the first few pages. The way the author writes and punctuates. The way the characters speak and interact. As if you’ve entered a world and wonder if you’ll like what you’ll find on this road.
“Will I like it? Will I put it down and attempt a few months later?”
It is a game of chance.
Then you keep reading, willing yourself not to give up on a new world so quickly; who knows what adventures and lessons you may come across? And you find that this world develops in your mind and it is the most beautiful thing you could have imagined. A sense of shock comes over you, the fact that you nearly missed out on this blossoming world and its people because you almost gave up too quickly due to its newness and contrast to what you were familiar with.
YOU ARE NOT ANNOYING FOR TALKING ABOUT STUFF YOU LIKE.
If you’ve found something that you can talk about for hours, that makes you so happy and excited when someone brings it up, that’s not annoying. That’s amazing and beautiful and you’re adorable.

Had this on my mind for a while. Okay, this is sort of like a crossover between the Trollhunter show and the 2015 book. We got Jack Sturges, James Sturges Sr., and Drall in Jim's basement, along with Strickler and Angor Rot, as they made a truce with each other for a very important mission.
Jack: Okay! So the plan is; Angor and I will booby-trap the entire apartment room. Once that's done, Draal comes and kills the bitch. While all that's happening, Jimbo and Strickler are on watchdog duty. Any questions? James Sturges Sr.: *Raises his hands* I heard from Tub- I mean, Toby that he has a girlfriend. What are we going to do about her? Jack: You're right... Looks like we are gonna need to find another body bag. Strickler: Or we could just have Draal eat them.
Barbara: What are you all doing-... Is that a plan to kill my ex-husband?
Jack: *Glances at the chalkboard with a detailed plan titled "Plan to kill James Lake Sr." and takes a step side-ways to be in front of the board* NNNnnnoooooo~ *Smiles worriedly*
Barbara: *Visible: "I am done with this, and it hasn't even been a minute"*
and nothing bad never happened
