So u guys know that in the lore the reason we got new subclasses in Forsaken was because Cayde died, causing our light to go haywire. What if the emotions of losing Cayde caused those uquie manifestation of our light? Like the rage and grief created those destructive subclasses like blade barrage hunter, or Thundercrash titan. The more I thought about, the more It made sense. Rage and grief are quite destructive emotions, and supers like nova warp and thundercrash could easily kill the user if they aren't careful. But then I thought about arcstrider and sentinel who both got a sorta defensive super. Then I recalled dawnblades well of radiance, the only healing super...what if these particular supers were born from the desire to ensure what happened to cayde would never happen to anyone else.
Edit: sorry, I guess I was wrong. But I did make myself cry at 2 am thinking about this.
we don't talk enough about the fact that priest is available for every race. the drama???? forsaken priest who's magic hurts them? belf priest accepting the new sunwell?? worgen priest?? the gothicism??
More dadstiny stuff? Saladin teaching History or some such??
Saladin: History (Especially the war history, and the Iron Lords and everything that came before the city)
Tyra Karn: History (Maybe AP history?)
Osiris: Physics and Astronomy(when he’s there) Otherwise they’ll be taught by Brother Vance and learn about Osiris as they do the subjects they are actually there for
Ana Bray: Tech and Computers
Asher Mir: Chemistry and Biology (Really grumpy about it though)
Devrim Kay: Home Ec (Moreso how to teach them how to not make non guardians afraid, weirded out, uncomfortable, etc.) Can talk to him about anything pretty much anything too. Just be prepared to drink a lot of tea!
Eva Levante: Holiday Ec(since Bungie won’t make her the outfitter anymore) Teachs the Guardians what to do on the holidays, what they mean and the history of them. Also sweetest lady there; many just call her grandma. Can talk to her about nearly everything and everyone.
Sloane: How to operate with your fire team and the importance of working together. Also will give rundowns of how to do medium level operations. Another person they can talk to if they need it.
Amanda: Drivers Ed (Teaches them how to pilot ships, Sparrows, Pikes, Tanks, etc. basically anything you drive) Also might teach you how to do tricks on the vehicles. Will talk avidly about the other teachers
Hawthorne and Louis: Club (Clan) overseer and her bird. (Wants everyone to feel included and pushes for everyone to join up in a club they like) Her bird will look you in the eye while she talks so be prepared for that.
Tess Eververse: Student store clerk (Offers a lot of cool stuff and has some neat stories if you ask)
Failsafe: PA system that gives weird, but good advice and has a questionable other side
The Spider: They don’t learn about him till they’re older
Eris Morn: Teaches about all creatures you will have to fight and about creatures in general; going into what theirs weak points, history, and their looks. She’s a bit unearving at first, but it’s all apart of the charm. Also has some weird artifacts and seems to be a little bit depressed but no ones sure.
Banshee-44: Teaches about every weapon type there is. You’ll have to remind him of where he left off though as he is really forgetful, but he’s a good guy
Petra Venj: Teaches then the operations and about the Reef, it’s history, and why they’re uneasy to Guardians, so they won’t be surprised by that. (Many students know she puts on a happier face but is secretly sad)
Lord Shaxx: PE teacher. Runs the kiddy crucible and teaches them all about different fighting types(melee, ranged, swords, etc.). Very loud so you can always tell when he’s coming, and just wants his students to be able to defend themselves if the need arises. Sometimes gets fed up with dealing with them because sometimes they do really dumb things. Cares a lot though, as he helped get the school in to creation
Ikora Rey: If you don’t have a mom, here’s a good stand in. But in reality vice principal that gives good advice and makes you reflect on your actions. Also if you want to know how to be good with a shotgun, go to her. Has a bit of a cold side due to some issues, but will usually snap out of it. Good heart, and can talk with her about many things, including life questions. Will try and be there.
Commander Zavala: If you don’t have a dad, he’s a great filler, although he might be a bit tough on you, only because he wants you to succeed. He’s the principal and the one that tells about strikes or high level missions. Gives good advice and answers any questions that you might have, as long as they are within bounds. Has a good heart, although sometimes it might be a bit hard to see, but don’t worry, he’ll always try and be there.
Cayde-6: Ever wanted a cool uncle that says you can do something when dad says no? Well look no further as you found him. But in reality most involved parent as Ace is in the school and he is a good dad that loves his son. He’s also the ‘leader’ of the PTA, and one of the people who helped make the school a reality. Also teaches math and how to map and follows maps. Will hide stuff so his kids have to find it. Can talk to him about anything and everything, really there are no bounds.
This turned out longer than intended, and if there is anything you want to change, go ahead. Just a basic outline

So @blindedfatewra looks really cool and I’m thinking my character Bellulah Hammonds would be a good fit. Massive fangirl, self taught singer/guitarist, would die for the Elite Tauren Chieftains..... were she not dead already but whatever. (Also Bellulah is such an old lady name dude, call her Aria. Or Briar. Or whatever it is that week.)
Punk’s not dead. Not entirely anyway. Punk is sort of teetering on life and death. Schrödinger‘s Punk.
Memories always start 'round midnight Haven't got the heart to stand those memories, When my heart is still with you, And ol' midnight knows it, too.
Here's another prompt for you, this one may be a little cute. I know I'm wondering about it.
Ava catching Death listening to various tunes and singing along to them. The following songs I could see him singing along to for damn sure.
Anything by Creed will do, but mainly his favorites are between Overcome, With Arms Wide Open, My Own Prison, & Weathered.
Disturbed is another where just about any song will do. In this case it's a pick your poison type of thing. Though you'd probably have an easier time catching him singing Darkness, Overburdened, or their cover of Sound of Silence. Maybe Land of Confusion on rare occasion. I could see Death enjoying good covers of older songs.
Loreena McKennitt is a world music singer and composer as she herself would likely put it. Mostly her main influences are between Celtic and Middle Eastern. Of her work, I could see him most easily being caught singing The Old Ways(my ult fave of hers), The Highwayman(basically just the poem slightly shortened down into a 10 min song), All Souls Night, or Skellig.
I'm a music nerd and honestly could go on for hours on what songs I think he'd openly sing. But I don't wanna make this too long now. Hell maybe you have an idea of what song or songs Ava could catch Death singing along to at times. Hell perhaps if he's using headphone at the time, she may only hear his voice in particular. What do you think of this one? Could see Death getting real embarrassed if he was overheard through a whole song and realized he was watched.
[I had the HARDEST time picking out a song for this prompt, but then I was introduced to the song, "Forsaken" by the lead singer of Disturbed, and all of THIS(☝️) just popped into my head.]
Short summary; Death went off for some reason or another. Ava followed him out of concern, caught him in a "Frozen-Like" moment, and snuck away before she was caught.
It's a memory she'll carry with her to the grave.

Oladis: Pirate Captain of the Harpy’s Screech. Previously Kul’Tiran turned undead. She typically ruins Alliance ships and does some private charter with a few odd jobs sprinkled here and there. Big rival of Fallane’s, but also her occasional contact for wares n’ goods.
Oladis is not nice, manipulative at best, and refuses to be treated like some trembling maiden. Catcallers beware.
