I think they both would have appreciated kissing. I think they were both excited to see where their characters went and see the development of season 2.
I think that above all that we were deprived with no season 2, the actors and characters were deprived more. This isn’t Lockwood & Co. we weren’t left on a cliffhanger. This was a beautiful show with a good ending, and strings for a posible season 2. But the characters had so much room to grow! I wanted to see Charles get over all that internalized homophobia that a young boy from the 90s probably had. I wanted to see the Cat King making friends. I wanted to see Crystal find all her memories and making amends for how horrible she used to be. These characters had room to grow and the actors were so obviously hoping to get the chance to grow with them.
Rip Jayden Revri, you would’ve loved getting to kiss George Rexstrew on the mouth in season 2
Rip Yuyu Kitamura, you would’ve loved bringing Niko back in the most unhinged, unexpected way in season 2
Rip Kassius Nelson, you would’ve loved Crystals ark of learning to love herself after finding out that she used to suck in season 2

To all dead boy detectives fans I just wanna say that despite the tragic news, this past few months have been amazing, mostly due to all of the fandom’s creative ideas, beautiful artworks and incredible fics and I may be getting too clingy/cringey (but idc cause I’m sad) but I don’t want the love we all share for this show to die, so let’s keep sharing and interacting and showing our love to this amazing characters and story.

Netflix stop cancelling my favorite shows after 1 season challenge

warrior nun cancelled. first kill cancelled. paper girls cancelled. one day at a time cancelled. the owl house cancelled. im not okay with this cancelled. legacies cancelled. everything sucks cancelled. the babysitters club cancelled. dare me cancelled. i know what you did last summer cancelled. teenage bounty hunters cancelled. the wilds cancelled.
the attitude held towards sapphic media is clear and honestly just appalling. im so sick of this treatment we deserve better than this.
It's very clear that Netflix made the decision to cancel Warrior Nun before they even released the 2nd season.
The viewing metrics and online engagement that they gained in the first month of the 2nd season alone is what you want from shows, and they got that despite burying it and giving it zero promotion.
This news felt like a gut punch because the show actually started thriving despite everything Netflix did to ensure it couldn't thrive. It just comes down to the fact that they had their mind made up already, and there was clearly nothing that could be done.
I freaking hate Netflix's quantity over quality model. They constantly churn out garbage and when something finally gains traction and develops a fandom where you can monetize something further with merchandise (of a product they freakin' own might I add) they cancel it anyway?
I'm soooo tired. I'm done with them. Done. Fuck Netflix.
