Their cover was blown on day one but the leader wanted to perform a special punishment for them. He slowly feeds them information back to their superiors. After taking their minds and having them spill every undercover agent they knew about and information to the leader. Their fates were to become mules and foot soldiers for the gang. See the rookie had done a wrong and would need to pay back the gang that he wronged. So to make amends he will become their pig.
