I knew for the OC day of @seemoreseymoursbayweek, I just had to draw Alexis, my precious baby child. I ended up having the incredible opportunity to Commission @jae-is-drawing for the occasion, and god, they completely knocked it out of the park!!

I actually just asked for one drawing, but they came up with the amazing idea to make my Commission into a mini comic, and it came out so adorable. I can't get over the Lady and the Tramp reference 🥺❣️

Thank you so much, Jae!! I shall be staring at this forever.

This is no rendered but in my defense...I'm tired, I've been trying to work on this for too long (Im not been dramatic, its been 2 months)

So, just flat colors, but it looks pretty enough, right? I mean Gene dandolo todo certainly helps XD

This is again a stolen idea, cause creativity its notmy thing apperently XD.

Let's use the word inspire. This is inspired, for the one, the only, the greatest @goldendoodlerlockerlove they draw Gene on his wedding day wearing a beutiful dress with a jungle theme wedding, which wtf, amazing, so good. I may reblog it later. (by the way it is from Feb 16 so yeah, imagine how late I am)

Who is Kimmy you migh ask? Kimmy Schmidt from one of my favs shows "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" from Netflix. Recommendation, watch it, its hilarious.

I actually loved drawing this, and even though the coloring was hard, I love the yellow in Gene, she looks like Belle, or like we know her in this side on the continent: Bella, and yes she is.

By the way in my head Linda actually made this dress, she didn't sewed a thing, she just glue all to the base dress they bought in a thrift store. And yeah those are actual candy, and there's not one left at the end of the reception.

I realized while drawing this that I really love drawing Gene, been able to draw a beautiful, big, brown skin queen, is not a chance many shows give us. And I thanks Bob's Burger everyday for it.

Also, I know for you gringos (USA people) white is like the norm for wedding dresses (no shade no tea is just not my cup of tea) but ... I was gonna explained but I decided to left it for another post so wait for an alternative version and a little story.

Happy Pride! This might sound ridiculous, but Gene helped me understand genderfluidity a lot just by… being himself. Of course we love those moments where Gene expresses femininity, but it’s in these moments too where he’s celebrating being a bro with Logan. Gene is Gene no matter what gender he’s enjoying at that moment. This isn’t to say gender headcanons can’t differ from mine, I’m just grateful to Gene’s character for giving me more perspective

Why I relate to Gene Belcher

He happily does his own thing.

He really sees that life is about doing your own thing.

2. He refuses to follow any trends or obsessions, meaning he's not a follower.

When everyone is busy being a bunch of Tina's, Tammy's and Jocelyn's, he's always himself.

3. He knows how hard life can be.

I can relate to this one! Adulting sucks at times!

4. He doesn't care what other people think.

Hey, he's comfortable in his own skin.

5. He's afraid of snakes, and that is okay.

I have the same phobia of snakes, people. It's real.

6. He loves food, and he's proud of that.

Burgers, pizza, pasta, subs, hot dogs, ice cream-it doesn't matter. He knows what he's about!

7. He makes life just a little less boring.

Rules? Sometimes you just have to throw them out the window.

8. He loves his family and his friends.

He knows that while life can be messy, he is the friend that is always there for them, and he's also there for his family, no matter how messy they can be.

9. He loves to unwind at the end of a long day.

He knows that relaxing at the end of a long, stressful day is a great way to get some self-care.

10. He is unapologetically himself.

Gene is who he is. He doesn't have to apologize for it. That's what makes Gene Gene.

I was in a Galexis (Gene x my OC, Alexis) mood last night, so I ended up drawing them bowling together, inspired by the recent episode The Big Stieblitzski because the thought of Gene and Alexis bowling was just too cute to me.

Yes, I know, Galexis sounds so much like Galex, but I haven’t been able to think of a better ship name, so Galexis it is. Also, to differentiate Alexis a bit more from Alex, I have officially changed their voice claim to Josh Brener, who’s a great voice actor. Anyway, I hope y’all enjoy this piece!! I loved drawing this a ton.
